My 2nd time using Red Baron and I’m very pleased with the service they’ve always providing. The staff in the office and the handymen are very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable of what my projects are in need of. My ceiling fan was getting ready to fall the bolts were very loose I was afraid someone might get hurt I took a photo and they sent a service guy out right away thank goodness it was 1 screw hanging on he removed and replaced it with a light fixture.

Initially they were great. They did out drywall and painting last year and it was fantastic. We used them again to switch out a washtub for our washer. They changed the water shut off from nobs to levers 1 hot 1 cold, and hooked up the new smaller washtub. It took them 4.5 hours because one guy was being trained. In all it cost my mother 900$ for a job that should have taken half the time. I feel as though my mother was taken advantage of big time. Please pay for your own training and not have your customers who were recommending you very highly to others pay for it. This job and the minimal amount of work done should have only been around 300-400. We will not be using this company again and for the response “my simple phone call could make the difference” my grandpa called and visited your office twice with no resolution. And yes we were told there was someone to be trained. We were not told that they knew nothing and it would take extra time we had to pay for. So please try again. I left a message on your voicemail to call me back with my simple call and I will change my review.

Driver flew by me at about 90mph in a 55mph on 94E Downtown Detroit Saturday night around 11:30pm. Had to catch up just to see which company. Wasn't shocked. Must of been an emergency!!! Should put lights on that truck instead of a grill that'll rip throught whatever vehicle he crashes into.

I can't say enough about the service I received from Red Barron. There were two jobs; brick work/masonary and painting. The mason and his crew were professional, clean and very efficient. These guys were great and they communicated and the work came out perfect. When the painters showed up they spent time with us explaining things and giving us recommendations. They too, were very clean and efficient. Would recommend!!

The team at Red Baron can do everything. Not only are they the best around when it comes to handyman services, roofing, painting, masonry, and remodeling. I called them the other day to assist me with installing a roof rack on my vehicle and they did a great job! Very fast and friendly and great price! Call them for ANYTHING!

Needed my bedroom blinds fixed, and had a free assessment today. Neville showed up promptly, and with an incredibly pleasant and upbeat attitude. He figured out the issue and completed the repair within 5 minutes, free of charge. If I need any home repairs in the future, I will most definitely be using Red Baron. You’re the man, Neville!!

A few years ago, I had several things taken care of, and that was great. Recently, I've been waiting for over a month for a quote. After getting the brush off multiple times over the phone when asking for an update, I gave up. If they weren't interested in doing the work, they could have said so, instead of essentially ghosting me.

I give Red Barron try for the following services new carpet for breezeway and basement, chimney tuck pointing and caps/screens, interior painting ( 80% of inside needed painted walls & ceiling), dry wall repair basement, flooring for bathroom, kitchen cabinet repairs. Hands down one better company i worked with from the quality of work to pricing. Painters even fixed are kitchen walls from a bad contractor. Hired Red Baron to fix a drain tile job that was done incorrectly. The job was completed quickly and correctly. My backyard is no longer a swamp!

Any time I call Red Baron Enterprises for a quote for simple replacement of Faucets, Laundry Sink replacement for an upkeep, RBE quote is 2 people $195/hr and $190 thereafter ...there is never a fixed quote. I will take more than a day to change oil/filter compare to an experience team knows it only take half hour and price accordingly. This is not the company I would ever contact for any work. Angie / Handy do a much better job in quoting the work and much more economical. Time have changed and there are many more players with a very competitive pricing.

RBE came very highly recommended and came out to give an estimate for the work to be done in a very rushed and very surface level manner. I am a young homeowner and feel that RBE took advantage of that and not only charged myself and my fiancé MORE than it should of been, but also did not complete the job and gave us a lousy discount when they couldn't come to a reasonable conclusion (you are indeed a CONSTRUCTION company, right???). For the money we ended up paying and the experience we received, I would NEVER use RBE ever again and unless you are an experienced homeowner dealing with contractors, they WILL take advantage of you.

The one owner was off repairing a air bnb rental and the other owner was on a trip and said that our job "fell between the cracks" and we went 3 weeks with an unfinished living room and kitchen. Absolutely un-acceptable, theres also a girl who works in the office and WILL tell you WRONG info and apparently thats OKAY to RBE.

The owner did come to our home and was nice. The main foreman who was in charge of our job was also nice.

The problem was the expectation of the work, the cost, and the end result were HORRIBLE!!

Do yourself a favor and get MULTIPLE quotes before committing to RBE.

Red Baron did a job at my home in April 2021. I was billed $507.00 and I paid $507.00. I have hard copies of this as well as emails from the office manager admitting they recieved payment in full.

One full year later and with no notice from them, they have put a lien on my house for that amount. The paperwork shows 0 payment by myself.

I hope to go to court on this matter. Red Baron has an issue with their office at the least and possibly they're trying to do a scam.

So, they came out to install a microwave. One guy came and wanted my husband to sign off while he waited for his coworker to show up. An hour and a half later the other guy shows up. My husband, who is disabled, did not sign off and marked the time they started working. He then signed off. They charge by the hour at a rate of $200/hr for these services. They took their sweet time and then told my disabled husband that they had to be there for 2 hours. I’m out of town on business, so they took advantage. They charged for 3 hours. This, ladies and gentlemen, is a scam. The microwave was installed. They tighten the faucet to stop a leak. That’s why a rated them with 3 stars. Still a scammer in the world of CoVid.

I have used Red Baron Enterprises three times and their people are wonderful. They show up on time, know what they're doing and get the job done in a timely manner. I will continue to use them and highly recommend them! A one-stop-shop for homeowners!

I called Red Baron with a flooding emergency they were at my house within the hour! They dried out the house and saved the new flooring we had just put down! Steve was super friendly and helpful and educated me in how the water got it in the first place! Thanks steve!

I hired Red Baron because we had a leak and didn't know where it was coming from. I didn't believe it was the roof and didn't want to have to call a half dozen specialists to get the entire job done. Red Baron had all of the expertise that I needed to fix the leaking pipe, patch, plaster and paint and were up front about their costs.

The servicemen were very friendly and did a great job! They accommodated some changes in the needed repairs without question. They were very honest with a repair that would have required more work and allowed me decide up front on whether to proceed or not rather than just charging me afterwards for a complex issue. I was very pleased and will definitely use them again.

I have used Red Baron twice now. They come when planned , they are professional and reliable . I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future.

Red Baron owners came out to assess all of our requests and gave us explanations for everything they would do to repair, replace or enhance our home. They readily asked for our input to assure mutual agreement on materials and end product. Their insights made us feel as if a family member was looking out for us. Service calls from their offices were friendly and not rushed.

WOW! I am very happy I hired Red Baron Enterprises. My home needed some rotting exterior trim replaced, the front porch repaired, and new exterior paint and they did an excellent job. From the first visit by Brian (job manager), to the work by Tony their "master painter" and then Brian's final inspection, they were honest, efficient, easy to work, and friendly - and this includes their wonderful office staff.

In the middle of the exterior work, the house suffered major water damage due to a failed condense pump. Without hesitation, they switched gears, moved to this interior job, repaired drywall and repainted the room. Again, an excellent job.

Finally, as with all home project, there were a few delays. However, someone always called, explained, & apologized. I was always treated professionally & respectfully & I was never left uninformed.

I would hire Red Baron again, without hesitation!

I contacted Red Baron to replace some warped boards on my deck. Chad was my technician and he did a fantastic job!!! He kept me informed every step of the way during the repair process and completed the repair and cleaned up afterwards. Red Baron is my go to when I have repairs that I can't complete on my own.

I hired Red Baron to clean and sanitize my basement after the recent flooding for two reasons: I have used them in the past and been very happy with their service, and they responded very quickly when I called, unlike several other flood-restoration companies, which all told me it would be many days before they could even schedule an appointment to come look at my basement.

Red Baron came out the next day and gave me a quote, and then the crew was there the following day. Five guys spent about 5-6 hours hauling wet, dirty, dripping boxes and furniture out of the basement, cleaned and sanitized the floor (twice!), and left big industrial fans ping in the basement for about two+ days to make sure everything dried completely.

I am very happy with the job they did. My basement is clean, dry, and empty, with no weird smells or mold anywhere. The crew was friendly, polite, and very professional, and they even gave me solid advice about how to avoid and/or mitigate future damage to the house from flooding.

We had them pour a basic patio, repair porch concrete top, replace the thresh hold to the front door and install a handrail. All was done well except the subcontractor for the patio left some splatters of concrete on the brick wall of the house. Not a major deal breaker and overall we are very happy with the results. The porch railing is beautiful and why we went with this company to do the work. All contacts/communication were done well, email, in person and over the phone.

The technicians were on time and did very good work. The drain was cleared very fast and they were very professional.

They are so nice and did a very good job on a repair that we couldn’t figure out how to do correctly.

This review is actually for the work performed at my mom's (Beverly) house on March 11, 2021. Her 60+ year old basement sink needed replacement along with the trap. John O. and Jessica arrived on time. They were polite and professional. The work was completed to my mom's satisfaction. My mom heard about Red Baron Enterprises from a friend . She used RBE last year for another plumbing issue and was very satisfied with the work. John O. and Jessica were the technicians that did the previous work also. Red Baron Enterprises is mom's first choice for plumbing issues. Red Baron Enterprises is highly recommended by our family. Requesting the $25 account credit.

I hired Red Baron to help me remodel my upstairs bathroom. They were very responsive to my request for info and provided a free estimate so I knew what to expect. Their estimate was fair and aligned with the amount of time if took their team to complete the job. They sent skilled technicians for each step of the project and everyone we interacted with were professional and took extra care while in my home. I'm very pleased with the results and will definitely use Red Baron again in the future.

Update: I also hired Red Baron to solve a standing water issue in my backyard. The team regraded my yard and created a dry river bed to naturally drain the water from the back of my property to the street. It rained heavily this weekend and can already tell the work they did has made a huge difference. I no longer have standing water in my back yard. They also helped level out a mound in my front yard that was due to a sewer line repair and removed an old lamppost. I'm very happy with their quality of work and attention to detail. I highly recommend Red Baron for projects like these.

This company was great to work with! The office staff was always friendly and helpful, making communication excellent! The contractors did tuck-pointing and rebuilt my chimney. It looks great. They were highly professional and easy to work with. I highly recommend Red Baron and will use them in the future without hesitation.

Our family home suffered roof and ceiling damage following a storm and needed repairs. Red Baron was the only company to respond to our request for an estimate, and after meeting with them, they worked with our family and our insurance company to complete the repairs and repair our home. We really appreciated the responsiveness to our calls and emails. Their professionalism help make a stressful project much more bearable. Much appreciated!

Used their service for plumbing. The workers did a good job at removing the clog from the city drain with their rooter device. However, I was stuck cleaning up raw sewage from my basement because they failed to lay down a drop plastic cloth, which they brought down with them, but just didn't lay it out. All it would have taken to prevent the raw sewage from getting on my floor was a two foot strip of plastic. That's why I left 3 stars. And I'm aware about the $10 cost for cleanup with bags of waste, which I would have paid, but they didn't even offer to clean up until they made the mess.

I used Red Baron for a roof vent leak. They told me when they would be out to my house (they came a little later than what they told me but I was home so that didn't matter). Once here the repair person was polite, knowledgable, and got to work right away. When competed, he told me what he had done and showed me a pic of it. Also, I was charged less than the original quote because it took less time than it would have normally (of which I appreciate very much). I will be a repeat customer.

Second and last time we use Red Baron. We needed THREE shingles replaced - the guy that came out quoted us "less than $200, less than an hour job." Naturally, because we weren't home at the time, the two service people spent an hour and 13 minutes here, which they rounded up to two hours of work and charged us $300. Little did they know, our neighbor was keeping a watchful eye on the workers at our request and noticed way over 15 minutes of non-work happening so they could charge us that extra hour. Just really dishonest. Final time we use them and that's fine, just unfortunate because they are local.

I just had Red Baron out a couple of weeks ago for some minor electrical and duct repairs on a home we're selling, and the service was great. The gentleman that came out was professional, courteous, and did a great job in less time than we'd expected. The report that came with our invoice included photos and a summary of all the work, which was nice as well. There was a bit of confusion with the office that required a return visit and a bit of back-and-forth, but overall I'd definitely recommend this company for small residential jobs.

Our basement bathroom and drain had sewer back up issue and Jonathon and his colleague were here earlier than we expected. They cleared the back up using snake machine and were very professional. They had to go back to their facility a couple of time to get right equipment and parts, fortunately we are not every far. Over all they did good job and only issue I would have is how they counted the total number of hours.

Red Baron’s paint crew patched and painted a difficult room. It looks great! They were easy to schedule and efficient!

My family has worked with Red Baron for a few minor and major projects over the last year since buying our first home in the area. I would strongly recommend them for all-encompassing handyman services, as well as remodeling. We have had great communication with everyone that I have spoken to on their team, throughout any step of the process, each time we have done business!

The estimators helped us choose a custom and distinctive product for new siding, as well as whole house of gutters. Also, they helped resolve two separate plumbing related issues in our home quickly; it does give peace of mind knowing that their is a reliable, locally owned company that can help their neighbors with such a quick turnaround time for those type of issues.

Prices were fair and reasonable, right in the same lane as many of the other companies we had estimate before choosing to go with Red Baron for our major siding/gutters project.

We replaced a driveway and walkway in our backyard through this contractor. Given that the weather was quickly changing from fall into winter, other firms were reluctant to even quote the project - however, Red Baron was ready and willing to do the job. We had some unseasonably warm weather, and ran into some "doughy" soil that modified our schedule a bit, but the end result was a great job. We also had some gutter guard from Costco installed by their workers that seem to be able to handle just about any project that you need done around the house.

I asked Red Baron to install porch railing and it turned out just what I wanted. It makes my house look so nice.
Steven was the head installer and they did a great job. Had some problems to start but Steven and his fellow worker resolved them and had my job done the same day. very professional

We had a very positive experience using Red Baron Enterprises to have our roof redone. They came out and gave us a very competive estimate, and came out about 2-3 weeks later on time. They completed the job within 7-8 hours with two workers. Looks great!

I called Red Baron to install 2 bathroom faucets and a toilet. They arrived on time and did a good job with the installation. The men were courteous and worked neatly and cleaned up afterwards. They even cleaned the “crud” on the sinks that had always surrounded the old faucets. The sinks were clean and so was the floor around the toilet. I have a few more projects that I will be calling them for to complete for me.

I had an emergency job the installation of bathroom grab bars for a wheel chair bound spouse. Needed it done same day. Other companies wouldn’t return a phone message or email. Called Red Baron Enterprises and Megan assured me that if she could get it done I’d get a return phone call. Half hour later she had it scheduled for later that afternoon. Jon arrived and made the caregiver very HAPPY (me too). Highly recommend Red Baron Enterprises!

First time I used this service & found the work outstanding.I had my gutters cleaned,which havn"t been cleaned in years.They removed all the junk & tighten all the parts.He also took a pic of the garage roof ready to cave in.A few weeks later they did my garage roof & did a fantastic job.Any mess they left or forgot,the Manager came by & inspected & completed what was missed.Awesome Manager,Crew,& Office Personal.I would recommend this service.

I used Red Baron to patch up a whole in my attic where racoons were getting in. I called multiple companies for quotes and Red Baron was the least expensive and they were the most responsive. Very professional service and I would use again.

We had a poorly attached and installed car port that was pulling away from the brick house. I thought I might have to tear it down, but after talking to Chris I felt confident that his crew could reattach and salvage the car port. His team hand to uninstall/reinstall soffit/siding, jack up the roof, and attach it into the studs through the brick as well as a few other items. It seemed to be a pretty challenging job that other contractors didn't want to deal with. The Red Baron team was able to complete the work in a few days and it looks even better than when they started. They did a good job of communicating what was going on, as I had to make decisions as the project unfolded. Their team was professional and responsive. I would recommend giving them a call for any type of project.

I had been looking for someone to install 6" baseboards in a reconstructed bay window area. I wanted the work done immediately, and had used Red Baron before. They're upfront about their services and pricing. The representative arrived on time on the scheduled day, and didn't waste time installing the baseboards to my satisfaction.

The quality of work is very good. I used them a couple of times. The masonry work turned out beautifully. The other job was well done but had some difficulties with the type of wood that was originally going to be used. It was a lower quality than what the workers took out. Also, when going to get materials, both workers left the job site and this seemed like an “overkill.” One could have stayed back and worked on one of the other projects. I was paying $160 an hour for two people to go shopping.

Red Baron replaced our roof and repaired leaks, as well as painted our garage, kitchen, foyer, front door, and put epoxy on the garage floor. The roof is amazing and the team did a great job. The work is high quality, we had a few bumps along the way, but were resolved to our satisfaction.

We hired Red Baron Enterprises to fix a section of gutter on our home that had dislodged from the house and led to water rushing down our window any time it rained. They were able to identify the issue and quickly fix it so we no longer have problems with rain water. They also inspected and cleaned the rest of the gutters on our home and garage. They were on time, thorough, and professional. We will definitely use them again!

We hired Red Baron to install cabinets in our upstairs laundry room. There were a few issues with the cabinets we ordered (not through Red Baron), but Red Baron handled the issues efficiently and professionally. The guys who did the install were respectful, worked very hard, and finished the project quickly. 100% we will be using Red Baron for future projects!

Jonathon was very professional when he came to give a quote for new gutters. The crew that did the work was polite and efficient. They overcame the difficulty of working in the tight confines of a Hamtramck house. All around great!

We found Red Baron through local word of mouth and chose to hire them because they were professional, honest, not the most expensive/cheapest quote, and came highly recommend by neighbors. The crew was respectful, pleasant to work with, punctual and took real pride in their work. We will definitely have them back to complete our front porch rebuild/tuck pointing next spring.
