Back in November last year, Neal and his crew came out to service the chimney at my mother’s house. It was needed after an insurance inspection to continue the policy.
After a very unpleasant experience with another chimney service in the NE MS area where the individual came out only to be rude and condescending, thankfully I found Rebel Chimney. Neal came out for the initial inspection and was very kind and attentive. The insurance inspector really goofed as there was creosote supposedly built up but turned out there was none upon Neal’s inspection. The chimney was cleaned and we also had a cap put on since the fireplace doesn’t get used anyway. The job was completed on the scheduled date and finished. Neal went above and beyond to take care of everything, providing a report about that job to hand over to the insurance company. You can tell he loves what he does. Also thank you to the office manager Elle for the smooth appointment process. I would use Rebel Chimney again for any future masonry services and recommend them to anyone needing this type of work done. It will be done professionally and with great kindness. I couldn't believe how much time was taken cleaning out my my woodburning stove! They took all of my firebrick out and rearranged so that a broken brick could be moved from where it was visible on the side to be hidden by ashes on the floor. Not only that, but the gentleman figured out that a piece was installed incorrectly which caused my draft issues! The previous company I had used didn't even clean out my stove, they only quickly cleaned my stovepipe. I highly recommend Rebel Chimney - they even called me the next day to make sure everything was working properly!!

Super friendly. Stayed to make sure the new insert they installed worked. Called the next day to check in and came by to finish some odds and ends like he said he would. Can’t ask for much more than that. The new insert is keeping us toasty in our drafty old farmhouse.

Neal and his guys installed a wood-burning fireplace insert for us. They put in a lot of extra work to get it done before the snow storm which we really appreciate. It was a more complicated job than anticipated, but Neal stuck to his original quote and was very respectful and communicative throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend his company for any chimney/masonry needs.

Neal and his team went above and beyond the call of duty on our chimney/fireplace rebuild. They ran into several significant findings, but stayed on course. Neal communicated clearly along the way and stayed late one night just to ensure our chimney cap wasn't left exposed overnight. Awesome team and tier 1 professional service! I highly recommend them.

Rebel Chimney did a great job replacing my old chimney cover and cleaning the weathered brick. It looks amazing and is just like new! Would definitely use these guys again!

Rebel Chimney will always be my go to for any chimney work i need! Neil was absolutely awesome! I called Rebel to get them to come clean out my chimney that i know hasnt been cleaned in the 5 years ive lived in my house. Neil came and cleaned it all out and even went above and beyond to help me by installing my new fireplace screen. I had it sitting in the fireplace when he arrived but i wasnt expecting him to install it he just grabbed it and started doing it. I had a chimney that was not drafting appropriately, causing smoke to gather in the room. Rebel Chimney came out, diagnosed the problem, and proposed a solution. They were then quick to both implement the solution and tested it multiple times to ensure the chimney was working successfully.

Talk about a GEM worth finding!!! Unaware of how to start my fireplace properly I began to Google who could possibly help me in my area and that's when I found Rebel. I was granted the opportunity to speak with Mr. Neil S. who was very polite and committed to getting me not only the clear of if he could be of assistance to me but once speaking with his supervisor, getting me booked in a timely manner that best fit my schedule. Mr. Neil arrived and was very presentable in his uniform with tools in hand. He not only asked probing questions to fully understand my concerns but he was also very knowledgeable with his answers and providing hands on experience that I was confident after his departure. Neal’s work is top-notch. Besides the traditional fireplace cleaning, I also needed the crown repaired, some tuck pointing done and all of the flashing replaced where a roofing crew completely botched that portion of the job.

Neal’s inspection was thorough and the work was of the highest quality. Best of all, he was able to work me into the schedule and complete the repairs quickly.
