We recently had a major issue with our AC, and after a frustrating experience with the HVAC company, we called in this duct cleaning team—and I’m so glad we did. They came out quickly, addressed everything the AC guys missed, and went above and beyond to make things right.

Yes, the service was a bit pricey, but after seeing the level of detail and care they put into cleaning each duct, it was 100% worth it. They didn’t just blow out the vents—they wiped down every single one thoroughly. I hadn’t had my ducts cleaned in over 20 years, and seeing what they removed was eye-opening (and honestly, kind of scary).

Now I can finally breathe easy—literally. The air feels cleaner, fresher, and I have total peace of mind knowing the system is finally in good shape. These guys were professional, efficient, and truly delivered on their promise. Highly, highly recommend!

During the replacement of an older washer/dryer set I felt it prudent to have the dryer output vent inspected and cleaned. The crew came and cleaned the system and replaced the outside vent. Completed very quickly.

Follow up to this review. I just had a good conversation with the owner and office manager. They have some things that they need to work on their end, but I believe they will. Therefore, I’m changing my low review to a higher review.

Just had an estimate done and it was disappointing to say the least. Reason for the two star is because the inspector that came out had pretty good communication. He gave me a call ahead, showed up on time, promptly sent an estimate.

The problem is that during my estimate, the inspector advised of a couple different options, which to me was fairly reasonable, as I own a small business and work in attics often as well. However, after he left, he sends me a voice memo and estimate that reflects nearly 10k. During the inspection, the price was a max of $6,500.

The $6,500 option was total removal of insulation, sanitize, and put back blown insulation to R-38 level. What was sent to me was total removal, sanitize, removal of drywall, and open cell spray foam insulation. Also, the spray foam was the only option, the blown-in was no longer on the table. The reason for this was he talked to his boss and now this was the best course of action.

Here’s what really happened. He got into my attic, took videos and pictures, and sent them to his boss. I’ll admit, my attic sucks. It’s a super low pitch, loaded with ductwork, and it’s not easy to navigate. So, I believe what his boss wanted was to price me out of doing the work because they didn’t want to work in my attic. I have no problem with that, that is their right, however, be upfront about it. I would rather them tell me they don’t want to do the job than to give me something that I don’t want and wasn’t even talked about during the inspection. Not to mention, putting Open cell spray foam insulation would void my termite warranty. I know this company has a lot of good reviews, unfortunately, they missed the mark with me.

R&E Home Solutions was easy to schedule an appointment with, they arrived right on time and gave us an estimate / time to discuss before deciding if we wanted to proceed with the service. We were very pleased with the service we received for our dryer vent unclogging. Moran was very helpful and efficiently got the job done!

An excellent experience. Guys showed up at the scheduled time (also a txt with and ETA). Came, gave us a reasonable quote to do the work on the spot which we accepted, and then did the work quickly and efficiently without leaving us any mess at all to clean up. Definitely 100% recommend.

R&E Home Solutions has been working on a number of projects at my villa on one of the Charleston, SC area sea islands and doing a great job! They communicate extremely well and do what they say they’re going to do and get it done as and when promised. Moran is the technician and he’s delightful, prompt, and earns customer trust.

The R&E team did such an incredible job from start to finish. I called them after calling multiple companies that wouldn’t come out to fix our dryer vent pipe and they not only got us right in but worked with me on timing of the technicians coming. Friendly, kind and respectful!

They will quote you one price and then jack it up by $100 if they can come up with another excuse of what needs to be done.
Multiple people in my neighborhood have been overcharged and it’s all been for different reasons…… The three guys that came and did our dryer vent in December of last year seemed shady to me, but I was in a desperate situation and needed it done that day so I caved and paid them.
As a realtor I will not be recommending this company to any of my clients Or other other agents in my office.
I really hate to do this because I love to support local companies.

The 2 guys worked very efficiently and quickly. Due to a difference in the size of old and new o/s dryer vents they had to improvise to seal the vent. It is satisfactory. I would like to thank you for pre-scheduling us a free dryer vent cleaning next year. That was a surprise.

Totally deceitful pricing. After I explained that the dryer vented through the roof, office staff said the price would be $150. I specifically asked if there were up-charges for anything and the office staff was evasive. I should have known better at that point. I pushed for more info and was told that the technician would determine final pricing at the appointment and I could refuse service. After arriving late for the appointment the technician sent me an estimate of $325!!! They said they had to charge more because it needed to be cleaned from the roof…well no-kidding! I had told them it vented through the roof when they told me $150!! It was MORE THAN DOUBLE the bait-and-switch price I was given on the phone and far more than other companies in the area that do flat rates regardless of the situation. My advice to anyone reading this review is to take your chances with ANY other company because you know this one is dishonest! I did express my displeasure to the technician and 47 minutes later after finishing the job he discounted the price by $45 ( so it was only a little more than the flat rate companies). Close to $300 for 45 minutes of work (I have the times in my phone messages), deceitful ripoff.

I contacted R&E Home Services to clean my dryer vent. Moran contacted me when he and two other gentlemen from R&E Home Services were enroute to my home and provided an eta. They arrived on time and immediately assessed my dryer vent as being clogged. Moran sent me an estimate for the job. Upon agreeing to the terms, he and his crew began work with two gentleman on the inside and one on the roof. The job was completed in approximately 30 minutes. They left my home clean and tidy.
