The owner is a very pleasant, professional man who gave me a very fair price for the roof repair. He showed me the photos of where the problems were and then sent me photos of the completed repair which were helpful in understanding why I had a leak.

I contracted Deaville roofing to roof my Mothers Home in Summerville SC. Before hiring them I got bids from three other contractors . Amazingly all the Quotes were almost identical in price and product. Deaville followed up multiple times and was very attentive. they did exactly what we contracted to do and the results are very good. I would certainly use them again . very polite. Very satisfied!

I met John back in 2017 when his team originaly replaced my roof. The bright blue made us so happy!
Fast forward to Summer of 2024 and a localized "downburst" ok I sware it was almost a tornado with inches of hail that devistated my neighborhood. Garden gone, decades old trees down. Reminded me of Huricane Hugo.
Called John to see if he was still in roofing. YES. Came out the. following Saturday. I was showing him around and all the damage to the house. Holes in the siding, casing on the windows chipped and cracked, metal trim and gutters divited like being hit repeated by a golf ball.
I had no idea how I was going to handle all the repairs within the allawence from the insurance company. Several other contractors were way over. Window companies wanted an arm and a leg. In some cases $10-$20K more then the whole project was estimated to be. John said his team could handle everything! New siding, new wimdows, new trim, new cutter, and replacing thw hail damaged roof.
So happy I said yes. The team was great, paid attention to the details, and left everything looking beautiful.
Seriously alot of stress vanished with having someone basicly redo the entire outside of my home.

Shingles were missing from my roof due to Hurricane Debby. My sister referred me to Deaville Roofing. The company did previous work for her and did an awesome job. She got me connected with them on last Monday. The owner came out on last Friday and assessed my roof. Mr. Deaville explained what needed to be repaired and replaced. He quoted me an estimate on Monday (last evening-10/07/2024) to repair my roof. John and his crew came out today (10/08/2024) and completed my repair within a few hours. I appreciate the expertise and workmanship. I will definitely use him if needed for any roofing needs.

Came in the day of and completed both my neighbors work after Helene. We had loose and broken shingles, and needed repair fast since its storm season. We live in townhomes so it’s hard to get anyone to come by and do work since the job is so small without them trying to charge an arm and leg just for a set up fee. Truly a HOMETOWN local business doing the right thing— and work done the day of. I could not be more thankful for them.

I contacted several local companies and Deaville Roofing was one of two companies that actually went on the roof. Out of those two companies Deaville was the one that didn’t try to push me to a new roof. My house is only three years old so I really didn’t want to replace the roof with it being so new.

They were able to get me on the schedule fairly quickly and even were able to show up a little earlier. They contacted me throughout every step and were very easy to work with.

Previously I had Deaville Roofing repair a leak in my roof over the gagage. MR. Deaville'screw did an excellent job.
Once again I contacted Mr. Deaville an requested an inspection for possible roof leak. He was extremely responsive and through in his inspection. Thankfully , he didn't find any leakz; however, he did think I may have an air-conditioner drain tube leaking. He suggested I contact a repairman.

We had a small leak and feared we’d need a new roof. Deaville came out and found the leak was caused by rusted nails in the roof vents. He repaired the leak and replaced the roof vents with a different installation method so the other vents would not leak in the future. Mr. Deaville responded quickly, efficiently, and at a great price. I will definitely use him again when the roof does need to be replaced.

We have wanted a deck for our backyard since moving to our new home 15 years ago. The time finally came and we submitted a request through Angi. Deaville Roofing was the first to respond and gave us the best of all the estimates we received. John listened to and was able to accomodate all my requests. From signing the contract to deck completion happened very quickly without sacrificing quality. They did a fine job and we are very happy with the results. We would not hesitate to use them again and are looking forward to using our new deck for years to come!

I have solar panels on my roof and I did not understand what that entailed to be removed. I also am a late bloomer so I did not buy my first home until I was in my 40s I knew when I bought the home that the roof needed to be done but I put it off for a few years. I finally was able to get the roof done and the best value was Deavillel Roofing. Even though the company that did my solar panels were taking forever to remove them to the point that I thought I would not get my roof repaired. This roofing company went above and beyond to work with me and was so patient. When they finally repaired my roof they did a beautiful job. The crew came out, did the job in one day and cleaned up after themselves. My roof is now beautiful. No leaks, no damages and I am very happy

My husband and I were in need of a new roof. We googled roofing business' and found three in our area that we decided to call and get estimates. We called all three. Two of them we got voicemail and one answered. That was Deaville. We left messages for the other two. Deaville came out the very next day and gave us a quote on the spot before the other two ever called us back. Eventually, they called back and by the next week we got our estimates from them. Of all three, Deaville was the most professional and came in with an excellent product, as we did our research, and their price was actually a little less than the other two. Needless to say, we went with them and we have our beautiful new roof. Boy what a difference a quality architectural shingle makes, compared to a 3 tab shingle. Love it!

I had a full roof replacement by Deaville Roofing and from quote to finish everything was stellar. The customer service was wonderful and the work was perfect. We had heavy rain a day or so after the replacement and no issues with our new roof. They also recommended some to install new gutters for my home, since they did not provide that service. We had our deck completely redone and they did everything in a timely manner (which if you know construction, you know that is usually half the battle). Showed up on time, cleaned up and did a great job. We very much appreciated the open communication while the build was taking place because this project was done on our rental home. During the design process they also offered up ideas on how to make the overall cost more affordable (changing railing brands) and we were very happy about that. Overall, would hire again without a second thought!

They came when they said they were and finished the job on time and on budget. In this day and age of supply chain issues and construction delays, they were very up front and transparent about how long things we're going to take. They were also very responsive, which is a big deal for me.

You never know nowadays and you take a chance based on what you read or hear. I did the same and I was glad I did. After several companies that roamed the neighborhood told me I needed a new roof, I decided to call Deville and get a another opinion. When they came out they actually looked at it like a roofer should and not like a photoshoot for “Roofers Monthly” magazine lol. They fixed it in a couple of weeks and matched my shingles perfectly. My elderly neighbor asked them to give him a quote and they went ahead and helped him out as well. Great company! Great local family.

I was searching for a roofer after hurricane Dorian this year 2019. I went onto Angie's List and came across Deaville Roofing. I read all the great reviews and AAA rating with BBB.
My husband and I decided to give them a call. From the very first phone call setting up an appointment for an estimate, I recieved such a warm and friendly conversation, that gave me such great customer service.
When John came out and we discussed everything, he was very professional, friendly, and very thorough. He explained everything in detail, and to where we could understand how everything would play out being our first time going through this. He was really patient and understanding.
When the roofers arrived to start the job, I will be very honest when I say, these guys were AWESOME! Very professional. They did such a great job!
When they were done, EVERYTHING was cleaned up. Every nail, every piece of scrap was picked up .
The job was completed in a very timely matter.

We had the pleasure of calling Deaville Roofing for a second opinion on our roof. Another roofer told us that our roof is literally crumbling! And it would be 12,000 for a whole new roof. We were trying to come up with the money and almost going to give our ok for a new roof but luckily we called Deaville Roofing. They are family owned and down to earth honest people. He was pleased to tell us our roof is perfectly fine! He said, “if this was my house, I would not be replacing this roof”. He also said, he rather do repairs than take advantage of people. It is very hard to find honest businessmen and I want to commend Deaville Roofing! Today was my lucky day

John’s response for an estimate on my roof damage was very fast and his price was very reasonable, he came over and did the repairs two days after he looked at the damage. He would have repaired it that day if he had the right materials in his truck. Very happy and satisfied with his company and highly recommend his service.

John came out to replace some shingles on 2 parts of my roof. He was very professional, explained to me what most likely happened, and very quick replacing them. Very fair price too. I would use his business again.

8-29-19 John Deaville inspected my roof today to provide a 2nd opinion whether my roof showed signs of hail and wind damage from the hail storm that affected the area around Summerville Medical Center earlier this month. He found no wind damage and only a small area of hail indentations on one side of my 13 year old roof that was insufficient to justify an insurance claim. This was the opposite of an inspection I allowed a new to the area roofing company to perform several days ago when a representative knocked on my door after contacting other homeowners in my neighborhood. John has an established reputation for honest dealing with his customers over many years. I greatly appreciate his professional opinion that barring a hurricane strike my shingles are good for about 10 more years. Since I have a $5,000 wind and hail deductible John has saved me from this unnecessary expense at this time. I highly recommend anyone contacted by a door to door roofing company rep offering a free inspection contact John Deaville for a 2nd no cost inspection before signing a roof replacement contract.

I was told 2 years ago that needed a new roof. So I waited until I was ready to sell. So I called up Mr. Deaville for an estimate. To my surprise after his inspection, I was told that I have at least 10 years left on my existing roof. I was so surprise by his honesty. No one that I know walks away from a chance to make money even if the customer doesn't need it. I find that to be so refreshing. Thank you Mr. Deaville for honesty.

I called on Thursday and spoke to John about my issue of possibly having a hole or holes in my screened-in porch. John came out the next day and took a look at my screens and thankfully no holes were visible. The one hole I had was securely taped over with gorilla tape (works great by the way), He did determine critters were coming in under the screen door so he adjusted the strip at the bottom of the door - problem solved and no charge.

We call John to look at our roof and he was on time he did a wonderful job he told us what was wrong and did the repairs my husband and I really appreciate and we highly recommend John deaville we are another happy customer Kenneth and Rose Rouse

John was recommended by a neighbor and arrived at my house the day after my initial call. He repaired the leaky plumbing exhaust pipe and checked the other exhaust pipes on the roof and repaired those. He was prompt, courteous, and efficient.

Throughout the project, he was professional, responsive and did great work for a fair price. Among the very best contractors I have hired during my 13 years in the Lowcountry. I would gladly hire Deaville Roofing and Construction again.

John came out to my house 10/5/18 to take measurements of three windows needing pediment replacements. One window pediment was so damaged we put a tarp over it to protect the interior from further water damage. John said he would email me a quote, which he never did. I had to call him back several days later to get the quote. He quoted me $570 and I told him Togo ahead and order the parts. I never received an update from John, I called him several time throughout the next several weeks and was told the parts hadn’t come in yet and he would call me when they did. I called again 11/2/18, a month after he came out to the house, and was told the parts came in the wrong size and he had to send them back. He assured me they would be ready by next weekend. I called him again 11/8/18 and left a message explaining that I needed to schedule a time for him to come complete the project because I was getting letters from my HOA complaining about the tarp that had been over my window for over a month. I never heard back from him. John is incredibly unprofessional and unresponsive. I wasted a month waiting on him and now have to start this project over again. This project was clearly not a priority for him.

Working with this company has been amazing. Started with John showing up for our appointment right on schedule. After the inspection of my roof we had detailed discussions about options. I chose to replace the entire roof and 3 skylights. The pricing was very reasonable.
The morning of construction his team showed up right on time and started stripping off my whole roof. The team was professional and extremely hard workers. It amazed me that they started at 7 AM and stripped and replaced the entire roof with the 3 skylights. Cleaned up and packed up by 5:30. Very impressive !!
