The actual work lasted one day. The prep meaning putting shingles bundles an supplies took about an hour of the previous day. Our driveway was used for the dumpster which was on wheels like a wagon. The workers were efficient. We are pleased with the good looking and safer roof.

We had a frustrating experience with our insurance, which initially wasn’t going to cover anything for our roof. Another inspector only got approval for a very small section. We were stressed and unsure of what to do next.

That’s when I searched for a highly rated and reputable company—and I’m so glad I found this one! From the very start, they’ve been incredibly communicative and thorough. They went over our steep roof meticulously, using ropes and harnesses to gather detailed imaging. They also used a drone! Thanks to their diligence, there was enough evidence of wind and hail damage to make a strong case… and the full roof replacement was approved—for $42,000!

One thing I’ve especially appreciated is how clean and professional they’ve been throughout the process. They’ve gone the extra mile, even draping netting along the sides of our house to protect it from falling shingles—a detail many companies overlook, but it really makes a difference. No scuffs or damage to the siding or windows.

I continue to be thoroughly impressed with this company and highly recommend them!

RB & Sons Roofing was such a great choice!! My roof was falling apart and some of my roof shingles kept lifting up in the hard winds of Utah. I was very concerned and so I started by calling 5 different roofing companies and 4 of the 5 came out. However, Travis of RB & Sons Roofing was by far superior from the get go. He started educating me on my existing roof problems, why my roof tiles were starting to deteriorate, and a thorough explanation to all of my questions. The more he explained, the more able I was to ask more knowledgable questions and to really start feeling more at ease. No other company was so readily available to answer their phone or call me back very promptly to answer yet a new set of questions I had. I was astounded at their professionalism because I really felt that they weren’t there to try and sale me a product I didn’t need or a bunch of upgrades that weren’t necessarily what was required. All the other companies were not very responsive or willing to help me until I had “selected’ them as my choice. In fact, there was a strong wind that was blowing in my area and a few of my tiles had recently blown off. I called Travis and told him of what was going on with my roof and I told him that rain was in the forecast and possible snow and I was quite concerned that maybe water could get into my attic or more damage could occur. He told me that he would be over and get onto my roof to further assess my problem. He did indeed come over that afternoon and though it wasn’t raining yet, he put on a waterproof patch and sealant on that section of my roof and another small area that I hadn’t noticed. Oh how grateful I was that he was so willing to help me even when I hadn’t yet signed to have his company do my roof. He said, “you can choose whoever you want, but I want to make sure you are taken care of. Know that I will make sure you are taken care of throughout the whole process and even after the project is done if you go with my company.” Again, that just again confirmed to me that I had “selected” the best roofing company out in the market, even though I hadn’t told Travis I was going with his company.

Once I had “selected” RB & Sons Roofing for my roofing project, I was so appreciative that I was kept in the loop on all the various steps, time tables, and city inspection requirements. Further, I so appreciated that Travis provided me with the address to the roofing showroom where I could choose the shingles I wanted for my own roof. Travis also provided me with various homes that I could go and look at for a few shingles that I was interested in because he said that, “shingles look a little different at the showroom then on a whole roof because of the lighting, the area, and the contrasts with house colors and such”. Once again, that was an invaluable service and help to someone like me that had had never had their roof done before.

The roofing project was competed very quickly and professionally. All the various workers were very competent and willing to answer any questions I had. They also did an incredible job cleaning up after the project was done.

RB & Sons Roofing replaced our roof which was damaged by the hail storm we had in Northeast Orem. Our insurance company approved our claim. When RB & Sons began the work and tore the shingles off they discovered the deck needed to be replaced, which was not included in the cost to replace the roof by the insurance company. Travis filed a supplemental claim for a new deck and worked with our insurance company to get it approved. We now have a completely new roof! RB & Sons were great! Thanks Travis and Russ!

The roofing done by RB and Sons was fast and good. It took one day to remove the old titles and one day to replace them. The roof looks great. I would recommend RB and Sons to anyone that needs a new roof.

R.B. & Sons Roofing truly cares about doing the job the right way. They replaced my roof after a hail storm and coached me through working with the insurance and did not cut corners in any way. They provided all the documentation for the insurance without me even asking and helped me know exactly what steps I needed to take. They take the time to explain things so you know exactly what is going on. Their work was impeccable. They even fixed some previous issues I had with my roof while replacing the shingles. We had a leak in our roof and needed it to be re-shingled ASAP. So we quickly got 8 different bids. Out of the 8, Travis was the ONLY person to get on our roof plus he flew a drone around to inspect. One other flew a drone, all others used pictures or google street view. Travis was the quickest and good pricing. They had supplies delivered on a Monday and by Tuesday evening the roof was replaced. Very impressed with this company and Travis did a great job.

Had a small repair project I hired Russ for. Highly recommend. I would hire him again for another project. Very transparent with his bid and gave me options on where to save money, etc. Worked fast and hard and was very professional.

We have an old house and have done lots of projects with lots of different contractors. This experience has by far been the best. They were responsive, fast and reliable. I also really appreciated that in the quote he quoted me for possible unforeseen costs and said that it would be lower if they didn't find any of the issues they mentioned. Their crew left things cleaner than they were when they got there. These guys are amazing.

Awesome experience. As others have mentioned, their communication is superb, the quality of work is fantastic, and they get you taken care of incredibly fast. One thing I'd like to add, though, is how good they are at working with your insurance.

Our original roof had been installed with a bad batch of shingles that started falling apart after around 15 years. During a bad windstorm, a bunch of shingles came off and I submitted a claim with the insurance. I mentioned that the roof was in bad overall shape, but the insurance company only agreed to pay for the wind damage.

I called RB & Sons to get an estimate and Travis came out the next day. He immediately impressed me with how knowledgeable he was about working with insurance. As a pharmacist, I've spent a lot of time working with insurance companies, so I know how tricky and specific their requirements can be.

Within minutes, Travis had explained all of the different things he could try to get the insurance company to cover the roof replacement we clearly needed. He took a bunch of pictures, did some additional research and handled virtually everything with the insurance. A couple of weeks later, they agreed to cover the cost of replacing the entire roof!

So, while I would definitely recommend RB & Sons for any roofing project, if insurance is involved, I think you'd be stupid not to call RB & Sons. They really know how to get what you need covered by your insurance!

If you have a roofing issue do yourself a favor and call these guys. They are punctual, honest, and affordable. After calling multiple roofing companies Travis was the only one to get back to me immediately. Even though my roof had plenty of life left, they were the only company to give me a quote that didn't push for the entire roof to be replaced. They started work within a few days of the quote and finished the same day. I've had no issues with leaks over several storms since the repair. Thanks guys!

Travis was great! He was very responsive, easy to work with, and explained everything he repaired in detail. He answered to phone the first time I called, and was easy to communicate with via text throughout the rest of the process. He showed up on time, and sent me before and after pictures when he was done. I would definitely recommend him to anybody needing a roof repair.

We had an excellent experience with R.B. & Sons. Once we engaged them for the project, they got us on the schedule quickly and arranged for our solar panels to be removed and reinstalled. The old roofing was stripped and the new roofing was installed in a single day. Total time with solar panel removal and reinstallation was just three days. The roof looks great. I didn't realize I had a leak in my only10 year old roof until I discovered sheetrock peeling and cracking in the master bedroom ceiling. I did a Google search for Utah Valley roofers, and found R.B. & Sons Roofing/Construction. Their ratings were very good, and current. Russ got out to my home the same day I gave them a call, got on the roof, and identified the cause of the leak as a broken plastic vent installed with the roof. There was quite a bit of damage. Russ suggested replacing all the plastic vents with metal, which just made sense.
Russ has years of experience, and explained the problem clearly, gave me a fair estimate, and got me right on their schedule. He and Travis were here early for their appointment, answered some questions I had, got right to work, and finished up, leaving everything clean. They were professional, courteous, clean in speech and grooming, and just all around a pleasure to work with.
I am so happy I found R.B. & Sons Roofing. I would not hesitate to recommend them for any job. Mine was small, but they obviously had the equipment and experience to handle large jobs as well.

Several years ago, my roof vents leaked and caused damage to my bedroom ceiling. My insurance wouldn’t pay but did refer me to another company. That company “fixed” the roof but it leaked again months later. I couldn’t reach them so I called RB & Sons instead. Russell came over, actually fixed the vents; patched around them and also patched a couple spots where I had lost shingles. They did all this for less money than I originally paid the first guy, and actually fixed the problem. Forward to several years later when I lost 30 + shingles to a wind storm. Of course I called R B & Sons because I trusted the quality of their work. Travis came right over, inspected my roof, encouraged me to contact my insurance company, and replaced my roof. It looks awesome! I am extremely pleased with the finished roof. Also, they came when they promised, finished my roof in a couple days and cleaned up all the shingle mess.‘I would definitely recommend their service and would use again.

Our roof was showing some wear after 21 years. I requested a bid and they came within a couple of days. They gave me different options on what could be done, which was great. After I let them know which option I wanted they had the shingles delivered the next day and the roof was finished a couple days later. It was a super quick and easy process. It turned out great! Travis was very clear about what was needed in our roof replacement. He explained and fixed problems from previous work we’d had done. Communicated very patiently and clearly what needed to be done. We felt confident in his experience and they did a very thorough job. We are very pleased.

Travis came over to inspect my roof after high winds caused shingles to blow off. He was very thorough in his inspection and found the many issues with the roof. He was able to give me 2 quotes, 1 for a patch to fix the damaged spot, and one to redo the entire roof. Travis was very knowledgeable and friendly, and I ended up hiring his company to come replace the entire roof. He helped me pick shingles and was able to fit me into the schedule. The timing was important because I have solar panels on my roof, so I needed to coordinate the roof install with the solar removal guy. Everything worked out great with the timing. RB& Sons showed up promptly at 7am on the day they said they'd start with 2 large trailers, ladders, and every tool they would need. They got right to work. Travis kept me updated throughout the process about the status of the roof. He upgraded my roof to a ridge vent and removed the tiny turtle vents, as well as an electric fan and other garbage that was on my roof. They took extra care to make sure everything sealed correctly and didn't rush the job. The shingles arrived on time, and they even made sure to clean up the debris from removing the previous 2 layers of shingles.They showed up on time every day and were done in 3.5 days. My roof went from being scary to walk on, to being a beautiful, strong roof that will last for decades to come. This company went the extra mile to make sure my new roof was solid, leak proof, strong, and beautiful. I couldn't be happier! Worth every dollar! Thanks RB & Sons!

We couldn't be more pleased with the work R.B. & Sons did on our moms roof. We had several leaks in the kitchen and garage and other "soft spots" causing all sorts of issues each time it rained. Their consultative approach and down to earth guidance was appreciated. The quality was exceptional, the tradesmen professional and they finished the entire overhaul in just days. They even identified some other issues while they were up there and fixed those extras too. Very happy with their service.

We have nothing but good things to say about this company! Travis came out to look at a possible leak. Of all the contractors we met with, he was the most thorough in his inspection to find the problem. R.B. & Sons prices were fair, and Travis was very helpful in answering all of our questions, providing shingle samples, etc. He even took down our Christmas lights along the roof line for us before starting the reroofing job, something we were too afraid to get up that high and remove ourselves. In process of reroofing our home, unfortunately there was some damage to our front window and stucco when the old shingles were pushed off the roof. Without question, this company made things right! They arranged for all the needed repairs, communicated well what and when things would happen and were on our premises as the problems were repaired by other contractors. They didn't ask for a dime on our bill until the problems were resolved. We were so impressed by their work ethic and integrity! Informative, willing to educate me on what was wrong with my roof and why it required replacement, and explained how they could fix it. We did a full tear off and replace. And although these guys don’t cut corners, they didn’t try to replace anything that didn’t need to be. No upsale, impeccable workmanship. A company you can trust with the roof over your head!

I had my roof replaced on my "She Shed" and it looks great. From start to finish the guys were very professional and informative. They took pride in their work like they were working on their own shed. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to replace their roof. This was a super experience. He found the problem quickly, coordinated with the electrician for solar panel removal, completed the work quickly and save us from from expensive and unnecessary work.

We had three bids on our roof replacement and although RB Roofing was the lowest they also had the lowest cost per sheet on replacement sheathing. with the structural and appearance problems that we had it was good to know and feel like we could work with Russ without being price gouged on all the extras. Parts of athe old roof had to be removed i.e. the old chimney cricket was bearly nailed on and very poorly constructed, which they replaced. They were punctual and always let us know when they would or would not be there and once the re-structuring and re-sheathing was completed they were done in record time.
Clean up was done at the end of every day. We would highly recommend them if you want someone that is willing to work with you on any changes or unforseen issues.

Russ did a great job on the repair of our roof! We had a problem with water running behind the gutters on our front porch and back deck area. Russ came out and gave us a thorough, competitive bid. When the day come to do the job they showed up on time, completed the job as expected and cleaned up after themselves. They did a great job matching the existing shingles as well! I would highly recommend Russ and his son's for any roofing job you need!

RB&Sons Roofing helped fix a leak issue we had where the roof meets the house. They were very responsive and came out early to meet with the other mason contractor to coordinate the fix and make sure the problem is solved correctly. They were always on time and came when they said they would. I know they did an awesome job and we won’t have to worry about the leak again. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
