Once again, I have so many folks at R&B to thank. Last summer, they put a beautiful new roof on my house, and just now, they repaired my aging chimney after it leaked into the house during a recent heavy rainstorm. I knew who to call right away for help - Jim Kelly, the manager of R&B, who led the way for me last summer. He immediately dispatchsd Carlos (don't know his last name) who inspected the chimney and made some temporary repairs. Today, Jamie and his crew came out and finished the job, much to our satisfaction. I also wish to thank James Bair, another manager who helped, and office ladies Rach and Shana , as well as Lily and Hanna who handled my transactions. Everyone was just great as always, I cannot recommend then enough!

From start to finish it was a pleasure working with R&B Roofing. James, Jim and the entire crew did a fantastic job. There was clear communication, they took the time to talk thru the estimate and explain everything and answer my questions. The job was completed quickly and professionally.

Having a slate roof in the Pittsburgh area doesn't leave us with a lot of options for roofing contractors but we are so glad we found R&B after the unprecedented storm that hit in May putting multiple holes in our slate roof. They came out and assessed within a day and then we had everything fixed up about a month later! From start to finish nothing professionalism in sales install and follow up. We had a complete siding, window capping, gutter and downspout remodel. Jim Kelly, the Sales Manager, was very responsive in the initial quoting. He turned the job over the Project Manager, James. And he wrapped everything up. It was a big job with lots of add-ons, like composite wood porch ceilings, gutter guards, three types of unique siding, insulated wrap, etc. but they nailed it. We couldn’t be happier! Jim Kelly manager was very helpful after storm damage to my roof. He was very informative, provided multiple quotes and expedited the process in replacing my roof. Carlos and crew replaced my roof in 1 day. My roof looks amazing! Carlos and crew did a great job cleaning up after themselves.

After a bad storm had ripped off my chimney hood and a few bricks, I figured it would be impossible to get a roofer to show up; to my surprise, James was at my house, went over the damage, and within a few days, I had an estimate and a crew showed up and started the repair, very happy with the communication, workmanship, and the manner of time in which it was completed

We had a stubborn leak which we could not track down. Manager Jim Kelly came and, using a water test, figured out the cause and the solution. We had torrential rain on Sunday but NO LEAK!!!! R&B was fantastic for our roof replacement. Very fast with scheduling the first inspection quote. Jim came right out to house did the inspection saw the damage we had and immediately recommended going through our insurance company to help. We did and were grateful for the advise because the insurance company worked with the quote we were given from Jim. He was very professional and informative. He did a follow up a few days after the quote and continued to follow up to make sure we were satisfied every step along the way. James also was extremely helpful during the install process. Kept us informed on how everything was going and got the crew to get the entire roof job done in one day. We would go back to R&B for future needs too.

I couldn't ask or imagine a better company than R&B Roofing. They made the whole process easy. Jim Kelly manager is amazing. He walked us through and showed us options and left us assured we were hiring the right company for the job. He stayed in contact form begining to end. Angelo and his team that did the installation and re lined the box gutters along with a few other things.were awesome. No job was too big or small they took care of it. They were hard working and efficient making sure they stayed on track to complete the job . R&B should be proud to have such a. team. I was thrilled to also learn that not only do they do roofing but also concrete work and construction of decks which is our next step in projects. Recently had TPO roofing installed on mobile home. Manager, Jim Kelly, was a pleasure to work with. Project manager, James, as well as Angelo and his crew made for a smooth installment. Crew worked diligently and finished the job in less than 7 hours. Roofing looks great and I believe this will completely resolve some leakage problems we were having

R & B did a fantastic job of replacing my old roof and gutters. The turnaround time was so fast, I submitted an inquiry on the website, got a call the next day, sales manager Jim Kelly was there a day later to meet me and he had an estimate with options the next day. Jim took the time to follow up with a call to answer my questions. Less than a month later project manager James had Carlos and the installers on site. When an unfortunate blast of winter weather interrupted, the installers came back on a weekend to keep the project on track. I am very happy with the results and speed!

Jim and James did a great job - their guys worked all day for a week to put a new roof on both our home and garage - they also fixed our siding. Would recommend R&B if you're looking for folks you can trust to get the job done and do it well.

R&B did a fantastic job in placing a new roof, gutters, gutter guards and downspouts on our townhome at Seven Springs. Jim Kelly, our sales representative, did a great job in discussing all of the options for all of the products. I was particularly impressed that R&B was able to offer a shingle that had an anti-stain warranty, something that I have never had offered before by any other roofing contractor for our other properties. Jim also presented the contract and related documents very professionally and made approval by our HOA very easy. James, our project manager, was on scene as Carlos and their crew completed the installation and clean up in a single day, as promised. During the installation they answered any questions we had and showed real attention to the details of the job. Jim followed up and made sure we were completely satisfied when the work was done. I would highly recommend R&B for any roofing or remodeling projects you might have.

Had an awesome experience with R&B Roofing, as they dealt with the Tornado Damage here in Pittsburgh from May !!! I had been dealing with our Insurance Company, and a Contractor they sent to us, but was not liking the attitude and pushiness. Called R&B Roofing who had worked on our roof back in 2019, and they immediately got us a quote, as well as addressed the other needs that we had. High Pitched Slate Roof, and over 300' of Ridge Cap that needed replaced, with our requesting that the Valleys scrapped and repainted, along with the flashing and vent pipes, so everything matched. Only delay was waiting on matching materials, but once started very quick and efficient work !!! Thank you Jim Kelly, Manager, and the Jamie and Nate for all the efforts and great work !!!

We recently had R & B Roofing and Remodeling (Pittsburgh) remove our old siding and install new siding. They did a WONDERFUL job. Jim (the Sales Manager), James (the Project Manager), Carlos (the head installer) and the great team of installers made the experience a great one. Our house looks beautiful. The installation team worked from around 7:30 am until 8:00 PM on most nights to get the job done in a timely manner. If you have a siding project, I recommend you call R & B!!

We had a bad storm in early Spring 2024. Some shingles had been ripped off due to high winds and hail. As a result, water started leaking into our attic and followed a wall beam down to our second floor and started collecting on our sub floor.

We contacted R&B roofing that morning and within an hour, the General Manager, Steve Bair, was at our doorstep. After assessing the damage, Mr. Bair, realizing there is more bad weather with heavy rains and wind on the way, had to quickly and temporarily patch the the hole to stop any further damage.

Mr. Bair contacted his team and within an hour, 3 more individuals showed up and quickly, efficiently and professionally patched up the roof. During this time, Mr. Bair, even as a General Manager, was inside our home cutting into our ceiling and walls and removing water logged insulation and dry wall. Once everything was temporarily patched up, Mr. Bair aided me in talking with my insurance company in order to pass the best and most accurate information possible.

I will not go into details about what transpired with the insurance company, but anyone who has dealt with an insurance claim knows how much of a headache this is. Well, in this case Mr. Bair informed that after we started our claim; let him deal with the insurance company and adjuster that came out to assess the damage. To say Mr. Bair's presences during this time was invaluable would be an understatement! He talked directly with the insurance company and adjuster to insure everything was correct and accurate.

When it came time for repairs, Mr. Bair was in constant communication with us and the insurance company throughout the entire process, from start to finish.

Furthermore, if Mr. Bair noticed that something wasn't to his standard for his company's standards, he made sure it was corrected immediately! Lastly, the pricing offered as well as financing was unmatched in the industry. They were extremely reasonable and always worked for us and and our best interest at heart!

I would recommend R&B Roofing and Mr. Bair to anyone looking for repairs or even general remodeling!

After searching for 3 weeks to try to get any contractor to return our calls, we happened to run into Brian from R&B Roofing on the street preparing to do another roof a few houses down. We asked him if he had time to come look at our job and give us a quote. He took the time to evaluate our needs, sent over a drone to measure and showed us exactly what was going on with our leaking roof. The quote we received was thorough and fair! We did not feel like we were being upsold or taken advantage of. Jim Kelly took the time to go through the quote with us and explain what all the materials advantages were, and if we truly needed them in our property, some we upgrades we opted for (new gutters) others we passed on.

The day our the roof was replaced the R&B crew showed up on time and James the project manager kept us in the loop with updates and drone footage throughout the day. The gutters did not arrive until later in the day, but the crew stayed until 8pm on July 3rd and completed the entire job as promised in one day!

They were clean, professional and delivered as promised! We highly recommend R&B Roofing and Remodeling. We will be using Steve and his team of professionals again for some interior work in the near future.

Our gutter work experience was positive beginning with the first visit and quote (Jim), then work quickly scheduled, done in one day(managed by James), and pleasant office people to handle phone calls, billing and payment.

Never having worked with a roofing contactor before I have to say that I could not have had a more transparent & honest team than R & B. Jim K. Was more consultative in his approach educating and informing rather than "selling" me. He was experienced & able to answer all of my questions. The quote price was very fair and I felt no pressure to sign the contract nor was I rushed. This gave me ample time to make a decision.

Jim also carefully explained the shingle manufacturer's warranty as well as R & B's. Rachel, the office manager, was so helpful with color selection. When I narrowed it down to 2 choices - I wanted to see others just to be sure and she had the shingle boards brought to me by James who was to be my project manager. It was a great opportunity to meet him.

When the day arrived, James, Carlos & his work crew arrived a little early - ready to go. I took off part of the day and had a great learning experience watching the entire process. The installation team worked so hard in the hot sun, focused completely on their work. At the end of the day I was confident in the decision I made with R & B.

I had one final work session today to hook up a new power vent and rework one downspout that was installed correctly and was fully functional but I wanted it to look differently. Without hesitation, Jim, James & Carlos collaborated and came up with a solution that I was very pleased with. I would highly recommend the team at R & B roofing and especially my crew a very skilled group and very delightful to work with! Thanks guys!

The storm on Monday, June 17, caused damage to our house.
Our chimney cover was blown off, crashing into the front yard. We also lost three shingles at the top of the roof. I contacted R&B Roofing the next day and Jim Kelly arrived that afternoon surveying the damage. With the help of Brian and Steve the missing and damaged shingles were replaced, repairs were made to the top section of the chimney, along with reinstalling the wind damaged chimney flu. Thank you R&B Roofing for understanding the urgency in getting our chimney cover back on.
We're sleeping better knowing that you prevented another raccoon family from taking up residency in our house. This was a total team effort.

Everything from beginning to end with R&B roofing was exceptional. We were put in contact with manager Jim Kelly after being referred by my grandparents who have previously had great experiences. Our roof was old and leaking, requiring a full replacement. Jim wasted no time getting through our consult and providing us with fair pricing and an expedited install window to prevent further damage to our home. The men on site were professional and respectful and completed our entire project in one full day. We cannot say enough good things about the Jim, Steve and the R&B team. I have been a customer of Kenyon for sometime, but very disappointed in the customer service I am receiving for my current job. My deposit was cashed quickly-and I now have the 3rd "promised" date to do the job. I think they were better when they were just Kenyon roofing!

These guys did a 36 by 36 rubber roof for me 3 years ago and its still perfect no leaks, no problems. My garage is dry as a bone. Great Job guys . You can use me as a referance anytime. They also installed My Friends house roof in Avalon . He is also a happy customer.

They didn't show when scheduled for an estimate. Then it took weeks to receive a contract. We paid our deposit were told we'd be contacted to schedule services. It's been 10 days and we've heard nothing about a start date. We reached out to them today and they told us, "we don't call people because it takes time away from other work" - what?! And then more of the same run around "no one is here, try again Monday", etc. The office person is literally the rudest person we've ever corresponded with in a vendor relationship and was very demeaning. They are aware we have an active leak. No problems taking our money, just actually scheduling a job. Their business model needs a total overhaul with special attention to the awful Office Manager creature named Patty. We have a recording of her yelling at my husband calling him names.

We called on a recent Tues for a missing slate on our roof. They came the same day to assess, and the repair was completed on Sat. We've had 27 years of GREAT service (both Maintenance and Emergency) from Kenyon.

Worst experience of my life. I assumed this company was experienced and professional. Got a Mexican crew after 12 weeks of waiting and the roof has had catastrophic leaks both before and after the job. Now need extensive plaster repairs. Your 'great team' of Mexicans caused the gutter damage by walking on them and your insurance company should have paid for ALL the damages but you refused to provide that information. You are awfully proud of taking advantage of an 88 and 90 year old pair of sisters. Do the letters GFY mean anything to you?

We have used Kenyon for many, many years for siding, gutters, maintaining our original slate roof and finally a new roof. Their response to any repair issues is always quick. We highly recommend them.

They get 2 stars because they were always nice on the phone when I called (3x), however, they kept saying they'd come out and never did. I made sure to tell them I had an active roof leak that was causing damage, but still, no luck. I ended up calling another company who came out that same day and even did the repair that day as well.

I personally have never used this company however from what I hear from many other people that have used them they love the service that is provided from start to finish I am a contractor myself and their workmanship is excellent I would definitely call them for anything you need done with your roof truly a great local family Pittsburgh and Company.

Kenyon did a great job and their prices was reasonable. My only issue was timing. While I understand that it is hard to forecast when the spring weather always changes your best laid plans, I still feel that give me a range of when a job will get started would be helpful. This is a minor issue and in no way would deter me from ever recommending them. To the contrary, I'll be recommending Bill Kenyon moving forward. When they did schedule to start the job they were on site, had a great crew and completed it quickly with need mess.

Looking for a reputable roofing contractor then give Kenyon a shot, they'll nail it!

Have hired several times over the last 15 years and have always found them to be prompt, professional and fairly priced. Would use them again.
