Ray Browne Roofing replaced our nearly 30 year old roof recently. This was a cedar to asphalt conversion. The quote was well detailed and everything was explained in detail. When it came to the installation, we were away on vacation but were provided regular updates with photos which was fantastic. The quality of work and cleanup was excellent. I would highly recommend Ray Browne Roofing to anyone wanting quality work for a fair price. We are very happy customers!

Alliston and Josh were excellent to deal with. They 1st attended to our house after we called them. They responded in a timely manner, went on my roof and assessed our attic. They provided an initial assessment for our issue and a quote for the scope of work.

I researched 3 other companies and Ray Browne provided by far the most honest and diligent assessment of likely issues.

When we hired Ray Browne, they booked us in and stayed true to the start date. Alliston and Josh provided real-time photos and information of the roof as they took it apart and replaced it.

They kept us informed of any developments and provided options if needed. The were very honest people and did not do anything to mislead us and overcharge us. They could have inflated the cost and replaced things that did not need to but they did not. They even saved us on unnecessary expenses.

The project was estimated to take about 10 day but they finished in 8 as the scope of work was assessed on an ongoing basis.

There was a young man as a Labouer worked very hard to keep a clean worksite and discard old material as it came off the roof. That was very much appreciated. Having a clean worksite show attention to detail and pride.

The workmanship and quality are great.

The roof looks great and we are satisfied and confident that our roof issues are gone.

Excellent quality of work and products. Raymond took extra time to go over all details of the roofing job and the products his company uses. He truly went above and beyond with customer service, he was professional and very patient dealing with all my questions. We would highly recommend Ray Browne Roofing for your new roof or even a roof repair. Ray completed an asphalt shingle roof for us a few years ago on our home in Poco. His crew did an excellent job and did a thorough cleanup of the entire yard around the perimeter of the house.

More recently we developed a leak during a heavy rainfall in our new home in Maple Ridge. I called Ray and he was able to send one of his guys out the next day. He was able to diagnose and fix the leak fairly quickly.

I would not hesitate to use Ray Browne Roofing again.

Ray and his crew did a fantastic job on our roof. We were the last house with an old roof in a whole neighborhood and needed to replace it ASAP.
Ray has a professional approach and his documents/ portfolio are very nicely done: accurate statistical review of the satisfaction of previous customers (All 5 stars! ), samples of materials and overview of the different types of roofing shingles, winter-guard underlays in a different price range for any customer.
His crew worked hard, always right on time, polite and respectful, they cleaned the site every day and even cleaned gutters after work was done and run the rolling magnet to pick up any nails left when the bin was taken. Very impressive work! We don't need to worry anymore when it rains hard and a new roof looks beautiful!

We absolute love the work that was done on our home. The guys were fast and efficient. Easy to communicate with and even came back months later when we started another renovation inside and needed some work done for venting.

Ray was very easy to deal with. Price was good. Work was done when promised and clean up done immediately after completion.

Ray and his team were absolutely fantastic to deal with. The first time we were in need of a quick job as we noticed some potential spots where a leak might happen...he quoted doing a quick fix on the ridge capping and also doing the full roof replacement. We ended up doing the ridge capping initially and he ended up giving us a lower bill than he originally quoted us! When does that happen? Then when we decided to do the roof replacement - he was honest with us and told us we could get another year or two out of the roof or go ahead now. Again, when does that happen? We decided to proceed and we are just so pleased with not only the workmanship and the look of the new roof but the crew were fantastic and were top professionals. They cleaned up before they left each day, they were always there first thing in the morning and they completed the job on time. Ray and his crew were also very patient with us as we took a long time deciding on colour and material to be used....there was never any pressure, no upselling and Ray always took the time to answer our sometimes endless questions!! Would highly recommend Ray Browne for your roofing needs. We had Six companies quote on your roof, because in the past we had a really bad experience with another major roofing company here in the Greater Vancouver area, where we had to go as far as arbitration.
Ray explained every part of his quote, why things were needed and why some was not. He made a few recommendation which we had done. His pricing was very good.
Plus the brothers he had on our roofing project did an excellent job and they kept the yard clean and tidy and Ray himself came back with a rolling magnet to make sure all the nails that been pick up off our yard.
They even finished our project almost a day early.

Ray and his crew did an amazing job! I was referred to Ray by a friend, who like myself is both frugal and particular. There are cheaper outfits out there, but the communication, professional quotes, no pressure presentation of options and EXTENDED WARRANTY sold me. He provided a long list of references in my area, options for products, colors and pricing. Once I finalized by choice, it emailed an updated quote the same day. His long-time crew came, did the job quickly and efficiently and left with only minimal clean up for me to do. Because of his rating with CertainTeed, the manufacturer offers a better warranty than from other installers too! The roof has done great with the last several tree-snapping wind storms. SO glad I got it done when I did, and so glad I went with Ray Browne.

I stand by what I said. Your foreman raked back the insulation of the entire perimeter of the roof at his suggestion. This is the cause of the condensation/mold as per our insurance company, their roofers and the two other companies who have been here to take a look. Perhaps you need a new foreman. He was, after all, the same guy who left on the grooved plywood and roofed over it when that was, our first and foremost complaint.

From quote to finish; fair and very competitive rate and can't say enough about the attention to detail and workmanship! Ray was referred to us by a neighbour with an excellent review and so glad we called Ray to meet us.
