Raught Prevention Homes rebuilt a deck for us. It was a somewhat unusual job because we used a decking material that was new to the market and there were a few supply issues. The Raught team did their homework on the material and were well-prepared for the job. Zech and Dustin were the highly skilled craftsmen who demolished the old deck and built the new one. They were friendly, polite, and very conscientious, working quietly and efficiently. They applied creative and aesthetic flair to the job -- above and beyond what we were promised, producing a deck better than we expected. The framing was three times as robust as the framing for the original deck. Zech and Dustin cleaned up well each day. Nathan and Randy Raught kept close tabs on the project, handling every aspect professionally and in a friendly manner. Raught beat the only other bid we were able to get by a few thousand dollars, yet still delivered a high-quality result. We recommend Raught without reservation.

It's always hard to find a good and reliable contractor. I've been burned before. This company? GREAT! Good communication, helped remove my rotting balcony before someone got hurt, reasonable pricing, and the finished product was fantastic. You can't even tell there used to be a problem. Highly recommend!

Raught started work here because of dry rot discovered when Anderson was installing new doors. Rot needed remediation before Anderson could install doors. In the process of dry rot remediation, the Raught crew discovered foundation and siding issues — all needing extensive repair. (Which involved jacking up the house section by section!) It is SO fortunate to have had a full-service contractor on board! While this pathway of repairs was not a trip I’d have chosen, Raught’s team was a steady, reliable partner ensuring the result was safe, flawless and complete. The crew, here for weeks, was thorough, thoughtful of my home, detailed, communicative. I hope I don’t need more work done on this 40+ year old home. But if so, I’ll call them again.

Nathan at Raught Prevention Homes helped us when we had an urgent situation during a window replacement project at our home in Seattle. The team replacing the windows found rot and could not continue with installing a new window until the rot had been repaired. Nathan responded immediately and gave us an initial estimate and was great about explaining what they might find when they did more investigating about how much rot we actually had. We appreciated his honesty and that he and his team had a lot of experience doing this type of work. I hired Raught Prevention Homes to repair damage done to my home after a tree fell on it. I was impressed with the ongoing communication, reasonable estimate and how quickly they could begin the repairs. On the estimate that was given, he answered every question that I had with thorough easily understandable answers. He and his teams were consistently on time and did outstanding work. Initially when the insurance adjuster came out to assess the damage he felt that Nate’s estimate was reasonable. Nate is also skilled in dealing with insurance companies. Initially the insurance company wanted to pay quite a bit less that what was the estimate, but when all was said and done, they paid the full amount after, per Nate, a few days of back and forth of negotiating. They also do remodels and I plan to have them build a deck for me in the future! You would do well to hire them!!

Prompt, polite, and provided quality work. They finished a day and a half early and 20% lower than quoted. The tech was super knowledgeable and performed the work without being overly invasive. I can't provide photos because it looks exactly as it did before they started working.

The Raught team is awesome. Besides doing a first-rate job on outdoor decay, I asked if they could build a kitchen cabinet and hardwood worktop. I lucked out choosing Raught Prevention Homes to repair the wood Rot problem discovered during a window replacement job. The owner, Nathan Raught, explained that you only know the extent of the job when you start taking the siding off. So he gave me a low and a high estimate for the repair. The crew showed up right on time and repaired the rot within a few hours. They did a beautiful job and the cost was less than the low end estimate! Now I’m hoping to hire them for my next project. I’ve never been more satisfied with the work and the quality of the work done by this company

Had a great experience working with Nathan, Bobby, and the rest of the team. We had some dry rot they were able to remove and repair and helped to identify weak spots in our house's exterior to seal up and keep moisture out. Kind, communicative, and transparent folks to work with.

*Update - We had the Raught team back to do a more involved room remodel including drywall, doors, windows, and a built-in armoire. After a several-week project with many members of the Raught team coming through, l found them all to be great folks and super receptive to any questions and concerns throughout the process. Love our new room!

on Aug 19Anderson window replacement found rot in the wall, AT my they called Nathan at RAUGHT 2 hours later Nathan arrived: checked out the situation, gave an on spot review estimate. ON Aug. 6 his crew came to do repairs. Their
work was wonderful during witch the inside and outside of the house was protected. When finished they clean up the job site leaving nothing behind. I highly reccomed them 100%. Tom

They got our permit, fixed up all the rot in a timely manner, and connected us to an amazing painter to finish up the project. At all times they had great communication and took care of our home just like if it was their own. If we ever needed rot help again, then we would contact them without any hesitation. Raught Prevention Homes did a wonderful job in replacing our kitchen counter tops! We were so pleased at how they protected the rest of the house from dust and the rest of the stuff that came with the remodel. They were very easy and kind to work with and so helpful! Raught Prevention worked for my neighbor installing a sliding glass door and completely redoing a second story deck that also acted as a roof over patio space. They did such a great job that I asked them to take a look at my window that needed replacing. They measured it accurately, gave me an estimate for a new window and work required. Scheduled a work day and kept in touch. They came on time, kept my house spotless while working and installed the new window and trimmed it. They guaranteed their work and made sure I was satisfied. It couldn’t have worked out better.

We hired them when we tried to get a new patio door installed and they found rotted wood all around the frame. Nathan and his brother with Raught Prevention Homes provided excellent service to help update my 2004 built home. They installed two attic ladders and installed plank flooring.
