These guys are either scammers or don't know what they're doing at all. I paid $170 for a diagnosis that was totally wrong.

They said I needed to replace my thermostat, which immediately raised red flags because I just got a new nest 2 years ago and there was no issue with it. Then they said the refrigerant was all gone. They wanted almost $4,000 for these repairs, which would have actually been the wrong thing to do!

Do not trust these people.

Luckily I got a second opinion from a more honest, independent HVAC tech and he correctly identified the issue was related a control board and a motor. The refrigerant was fine. The thermostat was fine. What!?

This all got fixed at 1/4 of the total cost and actually corrected the issue.

Because their diagnosis was so wrong, I honestly feel like I deserve a refund for that as well! Avoid these people at all costs.

I can't say enough good things about Randy's Heating and AC in Bremerton, WA. I had a heat pump installed in August, 2024. The three guys who simultaneously did the work were efficient, worked hard and were very friendly. I was impressed how all three said what a good boss Randy was to work for. Randy also showed up at the house and checked how the installation was going. When he noticed that one of the parts to be installed had a significant flaw, he personally drove down to Tacoma from my house (100 miles round trip) and returned with a replacement the same day so the guys could finish the job. Randy's warrantee for both parts and labor was WAY better than the other company's bid (from Costco). Since then I have had outstanding support, particularly from Tyler and Kyle. If you don't AT LEAST get a bid from Randy's Heating and AC, you will not get the best heating/AC company in the greater Bremerton area!

Randy's is 100%, full stop, the best company I have ever had, really for anything. They installed our furnace and a separate air conditioner at a very reasonable cost and gave us, at not cost, a 12 year warranty on our furnace. The consulting and bid process by Randy was very professional and he estimated it with a simple walk through. We have had a few problems with the furnace (potentially from power surges we are told) but each time, with next day repair, they have come out and repaired the problem, no questions asked at no cost. If you can, ask for Kyle -- totally amazing. Professional and friendly! Can't go wrong with Randy's!

Kyle was out at my home in Bremerton today, great communication fast efficient, informative and now i feel ready for winter. I will recomend Randy's for their customer service.

Randy's heating installed a fantastic new system in our house, replacing baseboard heating. The savings on electricity was noticeable on day 1. I’ve had three different hvac companies to work on the two furnaces in my house before calling Randy’s. I should have called them first, they are excellent. They’ve replaced one of my busted furnaces and have the maintenance of my other one taken care of. They’ve never tried to sell me something I didn’t need or push extra services that I probably wouldn’t use like some companies.

We bought a new house last year and we've had heating and cooling issues since we moved in. Parts of our house would be extremely hot and other rooms couldn't get above the low 60s, even with the heat set to 70. We had to call back and have them tweak things a few times until we got it right, but this company followed through until we were satisfied. I'm sure other places would've just blown us off after the 2nd or 3rd time, but they didn't and we appreciate that. Sean (Shawn?) was patient with us each time we'd have him back out and he was extremely knowledgeable. We are very happy with this company and will continue to use them.

Randy and his team are true pros. I've lived in Kitsap for almost 30 years as a homeowner, and I won't work with anyone else but Randy's now. After recently purchasing a new home and getting into the cold season, we quickly discovered a number of issues with our heat pump and air handler. Randy's tech Shawn was extremely knowledgeable, easy to communicate with and quick to address configuration issues with our air handler. As with many things, addressing one problem can uncover a separate problem. I called Randy's guys three times in the span of one week, during the coldest temps in this area in over a decade, and they quickly showed every time I called. They rebalanced my entire system, finalized the configuration on my heat pump and air handler, and didn't charge me a penny. Four visits over the span of a month, and it only cost me one diagnostic fee. These guys are clearly out to take care of the customer, which is more than I can say for some companies.

Great folks, great prices, and they work until things are right. I won't work with any other HVAC team now.

The installation went very well. Great attention to detail and Randy and the team addressed all our questions before and during the installation. We continue to receive fantastic service since the installation to maintain the unit.

I can't say enough good things about Randy's Heating in Bremerton, WA. Technician Sean arrived at my home 2.5 hours after I called Randy's Heating for help four days before Christmas. He not only solved my thermostat issues and a fireplace issue in a very short time, but also went on to complete other work they were scheduled to do for me in January, spending two hours total working on our HVAC system. Sean was very knowledgeable, answered all my technical questions courteously and worked efficiently. When I called the next morning 1.5 hours before they opened to leave a phone message, Randy himself answered the phone and gave me some additional good advice regarding our system, spending 10-15 minutes on the phone with me. We have hired three or four previous HVAC companies in Kitsap County over the past 14 years, but Randy's Heating is our "go to" HVAC people from now on. Thanks a lot, Randy's Heating!

These guys are the BEST! Not only were they very kind and friendly, they really went above and beyond explaining every step to me and asking my preferences along the way. They took their time to give us the best quality work and it shows! We had new bathroom ventilation installed and routed out of the house, plus a new dryer vent and all that installed. Great team, great service! I had a failed mini-split system that needed replacement, and Randy's Heating showed up when they said they would, proposed a couple different solutions, and once we agreed on direction they were there the following week to install.

Installation was well-handled by the installers, and although there was a small issue with one of the units, they took care of it immediately. Randy himself was there to supervise throughout the project, making sure my needs were met.

The work site remained clean throughout, and my office and garage are once again warm (and much quieter, too)! Thank you!

Highly recommend Randy's! We recently needed to replace our old heat pump and Randy came out to explain our options and give us an estimate. From start to finish this company was a joy to work with. I actually got a live human on the phone, lan, who was professional and helpful. Randy was able to come out within a couple of days and spent a lot of time explaining different systems and we decided a mini-split system was our best option. The crew, Casey,Jordan, Travis and Tobias completed the work in a few days. They were punctual, friendly and professional and left my house cleaner than when they got here! Final price was exactly what Randy quoted and very reasonable.

Randy's installed both our water heater and furnace. They truly have great pride in their work and excellent customer service. Both installations went over without any issues and their prices are very reasonable!

When we needed a new furnace, we called Randy’s. They came out with a bunch of guys and coordinated with another guy to have the electrical hooked up so we could also get A/C. They did a great job despite having some frustrations with the city for permits.

Fast forward 3 years later and the furnace stopped kicking out heat in the middle of the cold weather season (December). I couldn’t fix it in my own and I called them after their working hours. Was going to call them in the morning but instead they showed up at my door early in the morning prepared to fix the issue. I am blown away about this and very thankful for this business. I have a 4-year old and we fought through the cold one night. Thankfully we don’t have to do it again tonight!

I highly recommend Randy's Heating! I had a challenging fireplace gas insert project, old house, steep roof, shallow firebox, no existing electrical or gas in the firebox. Most installers I spoke too told me the project wasn't feasible. Randy was the only person that gave me confidence he could pull this off. He is really knowledgable and seemed genuinely excited about the project.

His team came out and completed everything in just two days (gas line, chimney vents, electrical wiring, and install). Randy’s is exceptional in both price and customer service, bar none! My 30-year-old heat pump system failed a few months ago and when I contacted Randy’s, I could not believe how quickly they responded. Within a day, I had a quote that was not only reasonable, but much less than others. Scheduling went very quickly unlike others I called who couldn’t even do a quote for over a month out, much less the job itself. The system has been installed now for 2 months, and today I was concerned there may be an issue as my power bill had spiked. As it turns out, nothing to do with the unit but here’s the thing – I called them at around 2:45pm on a Friday (today)and they had a tech at my house by 4pm to diagnose. Needless to say, I was blown away and found out that Randy himself took on a couple of calls so the tech could get here. Wow, just WOW! These guys deliver and from Randy, to Ian, to Kyle, and to Shawn who all participated in the process of my system replacement, I thank you all so very much!

Randy’s Heating was recommended to us by a realtor. Though I don’t know why and I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone else. Randy was able to give us next day service when our roofers said we needed an old vent cap replaced before they could complete the roofing project (which we appreciated). However, what we didn’t appreciate was that they charged us $700 for a 30 min swap out (of which our roofers completed for them on the roof side of that project). Our roofing team tried to work a deal out with Randy and his team to help reduce the cost to us from Randy’s Heating since they were doing half of Randy’s Heating job anyways. They would not agree to it and we ended up paying a ridiculous amount of money for an incredibly simple swap out. For the record their work was fine but their rate was $375/hr (and they only did 30 min work - you do the math!). I think Randy recognized they were screwing us because he personally came back later (originally had sent just a laborer) that day and offered to service our furnace ‘free of charge’. We declined because we didn’t trust him. Buyer beware - the work may be fine, but the bill comes due and they aren’t going to work to find a reasonable compromise with you.

I am so glad we decided to use Randy for our furnace replacement/conversion. Even with living 3,000 miles away and having a three hour time difference, Randy made the installation process a breeze. He was more than willing to coordinate with myself and my tenants to get the job done in a timely manner. Randy even went out of his way to provide some very useful information for dealing with the gas utility provider for our conversion. I highly recommend Randy’s Heating and plan to reach out again when I plan to get central air. Thanks again, Randy!

My unit wasn't blowing cold air and I've had 3 different companies come look at. They all diagnosed a leak in the system right off the bat. Noone bothered to check the indoor unit but Randy's. Turned out, there was a blockage at the thermal expansion valve due to freezing (probably not wording it right). The other companies wanted to charge me an arm and a leg...one of them even said I had to replace my entire unit including the water heater. Randy's ordered the part, replaced it, and now we are comfortable in this scorching hot weather. Thanks Randy's crew for not bamboozling your customers.

I called a HVAC company in gig harbor they fixed a couple things and with in 3 days furnace was not working again my neighbors said call randy I did the team fixed problem the first company missed the team was great I have had know issues since they fixed furnace I’m so impressed with what they did I’ve had no problems since their work thank you so much

We woke up to a cold house, and I saw the high ratings that Randy had received and gave him a call. He had a busy day, but worked us in during normal working hours. It turns out that our blower motor had blown, and replaced it the same afternoon. All pricing was upfront, and we now have heat blowing through our vents.
I would recommend Randy's Heating to anyone who asks.

I cannot recommend Randy's Heating enough!

About our story. Our heating went out a couple of weeks back. We contacted another heating company to fix it and were told it could not be fixed and we needed a new unit. We were charged by this other company a diagnostic fee (understandable) and a travel fee (cause evidently people can travel with their furnaces?!?). We were told it would be a min of 5k just for the new furnace.

Due to the fees I contacted a Facebook group for advice and Randy himself sent me a message saying he could come out the next day and look at it. Sadly, our furnace was a lost cost and Randy actually sat down with us and explained and showed us why along with our options. Then gave us recommendations on replacements and why he chose the furnaces he did for quote for much less than his competitor. By the end of his visit we felt like we had a new family member and confident in our options. Said he could install in a week.

A couple of days later I wake up with crazy hair and my robe taking my dog out to find them pulling in our driveway! Surprise! They had a opening and at long last we would have heat! The install was fast and efficient and everything about our new heat system was explained to us in a very patient and thorough manner. I would, and have to friends, highly recommend Randy to anyone and everyone. You can tell he cares and you aren't just a invoice to him and he has integrity and takes great pride in his work and it shows. Thanks again!

We have been using this company for maintenance on our propane fireplace and our furnace. They have been very professional and clean and do an excellent job. Great customer service and they support our soldiers and veterans. Would recommend them to others on the kitsap peninsula!

We replaced our aging Trane heat pump system with a new Goodman heat pump, furnace, air handler and electrostatic filter in January 2018. Our sales experience with Randy was very positive as all aspects were thoroughly explained including understanding the importance of the relationship between the relationship between the vendor and the installer. Randy's pricing was very fair and he would be the first one to tell you to get additional bids. We had some initial minor questions/problems and they were handled immediately. But, in the end, I think you too would probably choose Randy's heating.

Randy and his team recently replaced our old furnace and added air conditioning to our 25-year-old house. It was a long, complicated two-day job, made more difficult by the fact that when the house was originally built nobody thought about leaving proper space to add air conditioning. One of the companies I called for an estimate on the job said that everything would have to be ripped out and re-routed at a huge cost. Randy spent well over an hour at our house carefully studying the situation and came up with practical solutions at a reasonable cost. It was a difficult install, but they did an excellent job and all the guys involved were very nice to work with. Randy is friendly, honest and upfront about everything. And he stands behind his work with a great warranty. If you're in need of HVAC work, you should definitely give Randy a call.

They really worked with us and helped us get this old fixer converted from oil to gas. They were friendly, reliable, and capable. Randy's Heating gets all the stars, all of them.

These guys do exactly what they say they will do! They have now completed 3 projects for me. One on a rental and two at my residence. I live in a green house that gets hot on 30 deg days. Had them install a mini split for ac and could not be more happy with the work done. They know their trade and look forward to working with them again.

Overall an awesome experience as a new home owner. First service we did on our furnace as owners and Elijah and his partner did good, professional and quality work. I enjoyed the fact they wore shoe covers in the house and always kept me up to date. Elijah also mentioned a we would need to replace a flame sensor during our next service and even brought it to me and explained its purpose in the furnace. The only reason for a 4/5 stars is due to them running behind and having to rearrange child care pick up, and some soot that was not cleaned out towards the bottom of the furnace cover. Would highly recommend Randy’s Heating to friends and family.

Randy and his team installed my ductless heat pump about 2 months ago. I cant really say enough good stuff about him. I called about 5 different places around bremerton before I found Randy. He was the most polite, helpful, understanding and cool by far. The best part was he had by FAR the best prices. Each other place I called wanted to charge $1,500 or more than he did and they were rude about it. I will be calling Randy for anything I need and recommend him to anyone i know. I contacted Randy's Heating through Nest Pro support to try to install a Nest thermostat for my Trane furnace and within minutes he gave me a call. Randy diagnosed within seconds that the Nest was not compatible with my current system. He then told me that he had a thermostat in stock with everything i wanted, same price and it can be controlled by my phone through an app. Randy is very honest, He had a opportunity to take advantage of me and he didn't. He cares about his customers and the work he does. I would recommend Randy's Heating to anyone.

Randy's Heating came highly recommended by the husband's colleagues after our decades-old water heater finally croaked in May. When the husband called to schedule an estimate, Randy himself answered. Upon hearing the husband mention "there's a puddle on the floor," Randy came over THAT VERY DAY to install a brand new water heater within a couple of hours. He also cleaned up after the job and did not leave anything behind.

We were so impressed with Randy's workmanship that we asked him to return a month later to install a new heat pump. Randy and his crew did a great job over two days. The old heat pump was removed cleanly before the new one was installed. Every step of the installation was done well and with great attention to detail. Randy took the time to walk us through the Nest thermostat settings. He also provided all the paperwork we'd need to submit for the PSE rebate process.

A couple hours ago, the husband spied a small leak from the PVC pipe of the air handler. He took a couple of pictures and texted them to Randy. To our surprise, Randy came over in less than 30 minutes to fix the problem. Holy wow!

Had a problem with my heater, called a different company & they misdiagnosed it to the tune of $5000, wanted a second opinion so I called Randy. He came out right away & diagnosed a bad capacitor, he had one in his truck, changed it out and it works great...$250 instead of $5000!!! He was friendly, knowledgeable, & has integrity. Highly recommend him & will use him again!

Randy's Heating installed my Nest Thermostat and did a fantastic job. He had to run wire to get it done so was more complicated than most. He stayed and made sure it was all set up and working properly before he left. Highly recommend.

This guy is awesome my furnace went out on Saturday I called him late in the day he cane out the next morning and fixed it on a Sunday for half the price as anyone else I call to come out on a Sunday very affordable and very professional and was on time if I ever have problems with my furnace I wouldn't call anyone else but Randy's heating
