I used Pioneer Builders for a recent basement remodel. Prior to starting the work myself (as a DIYer), I used Bryan as a consultant in designing the air sealing layers and insulation approaches to ensure my basement is comfortable for years to come. The online collaboration process via Dropbox Paper and Zoom calls worked great. Bryan really knows his stuff and is detail oriented.

Tim Uhler is a crook, every house in Countryside development needed new roofs put on within 3 to 5 years after being built, because Uhler used the cheapest thinest shingles possible, which caused those all the roofs to start leaking.

I thought my house was going to fall down, it shook every time the front door closed, the whole house would shake, again, Uhler cut corners, and never put plywood on the studs to save a buck or two, and me as the homeowner got screwed over with a shaky house when the LP siding turned to mush, which was the only thing holding the house together.

Nothing held up in this house, the interior paint was actually primer, which couldn't be washed when a minor scuff mark was put on the wall by kids.

The plumbing, especially the toilet. was the cheapest and worst fixture ever. The upstairs toilet started running because the float was defective, not set correctly, and toilet flowed, and over flowed, causing 1000s of dollars worth of damage to the downstairs ceiling and sheetrock, that damage along with toilet was never fixed by Uhler while under warranty.

Again, Tim Uhler is a crook who refused to fix warranty issues, used the cheapest materials possible, and cut corners every where possible, and I got screwed with a brand new house that was falling apart 2 years after the purchase.

This Man, Tim Uhler, built several 2 story houses in Countryside with no plywood on the studs, just mushy LP siding holding house together

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
