Everyone on the Rainy Day team helped to make our roof replacement a positive experience. Josh helped us decide whether to repair or replace and the crew worked quickly & efficiently, removing the old roof, installing a beautiful new roof and doing a great cleanup job all in a couple of days. Highly recommend!

Rainy Day does quality work. They are very professional. They verify perfection and customer complete satisfaction. They will come out in a timely manner whenever there is a concern. They dealt with a very difficult insurance claim and had lots of patience returning several times to satify the insurance company even after the insurance's very own adjuster verified all the same issues found by Rainy Day. Was so thankful to have them on our side. Highly recommend them!

Great service and people. They do the job well. Had a roof replaced a couple years back. Got it done in a day! The also replace soffits and facia board around the house, as well as replace an almost 40 year old sliding glass door with a French door. And they clean up very well. I could not find one nail that they had left.

Our history in working with Josh extends back over a dozen years. His team installed gutters on our home in the Allen/McKinney area. They assisted us over several years with post-storm repairs and with general gutter and roofing maintenance matters. When we moved to another state and had questions regarding roofing installation and inspection, we contacted Josh with roofing questions to ensure that we protected our new home. Josh did not hesitate to answer those questions—gratis! He is the real deal.

Incredibly unprofessional

I discovered I had roof rats. I called Quality Sumo Exterminators. Mendi came out and quoted $800 for rat removal. Sounded high to me. She said that Josh from Rainy Day Services would come the next day to quote the roof repair. He came yesterday and I received the estimate this morning. $2175 to fix the opening and plug 2 possible cracks. He also quoted wire cages over the vents which I had never heard of. ( I should probably mention that Josh owns both companies)

I called my nephew who works for a roofing company. He will fix my roof for $200 and told me the vent cages were overkill and unnecessary. He also recommended Frisco/The Colony Pest Services and the owner James came out this morning. He charged me $86.60 for rat removal. So, for less than $300 the rats are being removed and I'm having roof repairs. This compared to the $3000 total of Rainy Day and Sumo.

I would not EVER recommend Rainy Day Services or Quality Sumo Exterminators. They are obviously out to financially take advantage of people. If you choose to call them, be smart and shop prices.

Had a tornado tear up our roof at 3:45 am. Called and left a VM, somebody was on-site before 8:00! They were able to setup fans and dehumidifiers that day, saving our carpet and drywall. New roof looks great! Very good experience.

Incredibly disappointed, especially after reading all of these great reviews online about Rainy Day. We have a chimney leak and needed the flashing re-done. Contacted Rainy Day and got an estimate. Great person, came out to give quote, timely response, reasonable price. Said they would follow up in a week, that never happened. I called to schedule them to come out and do the project a couple of weeks later. They called me back a couple of days later. Said they could get someone out the next day in the morning. I waited all day long and no one called or showed up. Around noon, I called Rainy Day and left a voicemail to see what was going on. By 2 pm, no one had returned my call, so I called the estimator. He told me the office would call me back soon, the "subcontractor" got held up at another job and was running behind. That confused be because I thought I was hiring Rainy Day to do my roof, NOT a subcontractor. Rainy Day finally calls me back and says they will get there around 4:30, and work as long as there is daylight. "Roofer" finally shows up, and it is in fact a subcontractor. He did not know what he was supposed to repair on our house, and after calling Rainy Day to clarify he said he didn't know how to do the siding. Needless to say, we are going with another company. I am so disappointed that I wasted my time with Rainy Day. They ONLY use subcontractors, something that was not evident in my conversations with them or research online. It's very unfortunate.

This company was a life saver! Our church roof had several severe leaks and not only did they fix it right the first time, the bid was also exactly what they charged. They called several times after the repair when rains came to make sure all was well - that was awesome!!! I would use them again without hesitation.

Our home was damaged from the storms that hit North Texas on December 26th, 2015. Straight line winds ripped off shingles from our roof. Rainy Day Services came out and offered a free inspection/estimate. We also had previous damage to our chimney from age. Mr. Hopewell not only worked with our home owner's insurance to repair the damage sustained from the storm but also to the chimney as well. Our insurance company dragged their feet through out the process and it took over two months to get them to cover the damages but Mr. Hopewell was diligent and stayed on them until they agreed to cover the cost of the repairs after our deductible was met. Originally our insurance company's adjuster gave us a quote just under our deductible where we would have to eat the entire cost of the repairs and they only wanted to do a patch job where shingles had blown off. Again, Mr. Hopewell stayed on them and we got the entire side of the roof replaced not just a patch job. You can deal in confidence with Rainy Day Services as they provide excellent workmanship, communication through out the project from start to finish, and assist with dealing with reluctant insurance companies.

RD has done several jobs for me; complete roof replacement, removing wall paper and texturing walls, removing popcorn ceiling, laying tile in my bathroom, replacing the trim under my eves. Many jobs, all completed quickly and exactly as promised. I would recommend them for any job.

Rainy Day has helped us with two small roof leaks, as well as a complete roof replacement. For the leaks, the technicians were prompt, professional, and thorough. They did a great job! After a severe hail storm in our neighborhood last Spring, an unknown roofing company came to our door and wanted to do a roof inspection. I knew better, so I called Rainy Day. They came promptly to inspect our roof, and they coordinated with our insurance company for a seamless and quick roof replacement. Great company!

I had run into the side of my garage, and no I was not drunk. I took out the bricks, buckle the garage door rail and so on and so forth. I called Rainy Day Services to see if they could help. It was such a small job I didn't think I could get anyone to do it. They came right out looked at the damage, took pictures and I got a quote that afternoon. Now hear is the impressive part. Their brick guy came, took the brick that had fallen out, put it all back together, and I swear you cannot even tell where the damage was!!!! A great company with Great people!
