Customers are fully satisfied

Rainier Custom Homes was our first choice when my wife and I had to do a recent extensive home renovation. They were our first choice because we used them 10 years ago to remodel our first home. We were delighted with their work then and even more so now. They have quality sub-contractors and are able to get professional work scheduled and completed quickly. The knowledge of their team is extensive and it really was helpful during the design, work integration and scheduling. We really appreciated their frequent communications throughout the process and drive to resolve problems. If we ever have a 3rd renovation we'll call RCH again!

I am just finishing up what II believe is my 6th remodel project with Rainier Construction over the past 20 years or so. They have always been great to do business with and i have been happy with every project. Their process has improved and been refined over the years. This project has a pre-construction phase and manager and then a hand-off to the project manager for the construction phase. This worked really well. Nevin and Mike are both strong communicators and met regularly, asked thorough questions, and provided patient education as needed. Remodels aren’t fun (especially if you are living in the midst of it); but they can be worth it and the team at Rainier Custom Homes goes above and beyond to make sure that it is and that the customer is happy. I love my new space!

The first and most crucial step on our journey of building our new custom lakeside home was to make the investment to find a custom home builder whose company culture placed great value and promoted its ability to listen and deliver on the needs and preferences of its customers which led us to select Rainier Custom Homes.
For my wife and I, it has been a wonderfully satisfying experience over the past 9-months being deeply engaged with Michael Jarman and his team as we have worked through and successfully addressed all the major deliverables associated with the Pre-construction phase of our project. Working closely with everyone at Rainier Custom Homes has clearly demonstrated that the Jarman family has built an impressive company established on a foundation of integrity and ethical values that melds a keen customer focus with sound and transparent business practices plus the experience and technical expertise of their project managers, designers, engineers and builders that translates the customer’s vision into a comprehensive set of architectural plans and supporting specifications and ultimately into a remarkable new home.
One impressive element of the Rainier Custom Homes business model that represents the principal focus for this review and was instrumental in helping to solidify our selection of their company as our builder of choice was their commitment to formalize and provide the dedicated staff and funding to further strengthen the Pre-construction phase of their customer facing design and build process. Rainier Custom Homes dedicated Pre-construction team led by Vice President of Pre-construction, Nevin Middleton, treated us as a highly valued customer starting “Day 1” and provided the leadership, guidance, and day-to-day support to see us through successful completion of the permitting process for our new home.
Both Nevin Middleton and his project manager, Jason Jarman, have been an invaluable resource to us throughout the entire Pre-construction phase of our project by providing the leadership and energy required to build and direct an incredibly strong and talented technical team that assisted us in making informed and wise decisions regarding the design and specifications for our new home. This team also successfully addressed the essential task of assembling the complete set of architectural and interior design plans plus civil, structural and geotechnical engineering reports all of which were required to support jurisdictional permitting of our new home. This document set was completed in a straightforward and timely fashion and received compliments for its technical accuracy and level of completeness by the city planners who reviewed it in support of permitting.
As we look back on the significant body of work that has been accomplished over the past 9-months, we simply can’t imagine our project being as successful and as well positioned to support upcoming construction without the continuous commitment and collaborative support that the Rainier Custom Homes team has provided us during the Pre-construction phase of the project as the architectural and interior design of our custom home is nothing short of stunning.
My wife and I have previously built two new homes with this being our third. We have always held true to the expectation that the design and build of a new home should be an incredibly remarkable customer experience and Rainier Custom Homes has certainly delivered on this expectation!
Our intention is to provide a follow-up review once Rainier Custom Homes has completed the construction of our new custom home.

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.
The cost to replace the roof of a commercial building typically ranges from $5 to $12 per square foot, depending on several factors such as roof size, material, labor rates, building type, and local code requirements.
Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.
Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.
Flat roof repair cost for commercial properties usually ranges from $500 to $3,000, depending on the roofing material (TPO, EPDM, PVC), the extent of the damage, and roof accessibility.
Mobile home roof replacement cost typically ranges from $3,000 to $8,000, making it generally more affordable than traditional home roof replacements, due to smaller size and simpler structure.
It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.
The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.
To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
