R.A. Woodall Roofing Newport News, VA

R.A. Woodall Roofing replaced my roof last week. After many estimates, and much thought, we decided to go with R.A. Woodall and it was the best decision we could have made! I am so happy with the job they did!! They responded to our initial inquiry very quickly. After agreeing to the aerial measurements, Mr. Woodall came to our house and gave us an estimate. He had shingle samples with him and his manner was professional and helpful and friendly. Unlike other work that we’ve had done, we accepted his offer on the spot! ZERO REGRETS! R.A. Woodall began the work within the week and finished within 12 hours!! The crew was incredibly hard working and also very nice!! I can’t fully express how all around happy we are with the job that they did!!! FANTASTIC!!!!

I can’t recommend this company enough. The owner and technician are highly skilled and very knowledgeable. I was worried I would have had to replace my roof until I called these guys. The tech was out the next day and fixed my problem within an hour. THANK YOU!!!

Called and left a message during the evening and received a prompt call back the very next morning. In need of a roof, I received a very competitive and fair estimate, which included an inspection. They were able to set up the roof replacement within two weeks and was on site, on time. Crew showed up and didn't stop until the entire job was done. They were very professional, kept the area clean, asked for permission to access certain areas of the yard and was very courteous. Another team member showed up the next day to do a final walkthrough. In the end we are very pleased with the work by R.A. Woodall Roofing!

Absolute worse customer service ever. I contacted these guys in December 2020 for a roof inspection/repair. They first tell me that they "just don't come out and look at it" as once they look at it, they work on it that day... Due to having a leak I said sure.... I have water coming into a spare room. They then tell me they are 2-3 weeks out.... I said ok.. once more, just put me on the list....I send them images and someone eventually comes to my house 3 weeks later AFTER I called them about 4 times due to being scheduled to have the roof looked at and no-one coming out on the schedule date. Allen, they guy who checked my roof says, he can do the work, just going to send me an estimate.... I said well you guys said you come and and fix it... once you come out?? Now its changed.... He said yes, due to being busy... they never came back out or sent me an estimate.... after I called them 5 more times again... then the owner states.... that I must have been dropped from the list... due to them being busy.... This company was just ridiculously unprofessional and they will run you around the bush left and right. Here it is about to be April...2021 and never got a call back... DONOT use if you have a "small" job, they only want money and wont even bother with you. but will waste your time...

Woodall handled an antenna installation for me, a difficult and unusual job. The work was excellent and both Alan and Butch made sure the antenna was installed and working well before calling the job done. I strongly recommend them.

The owner, Alan, was pleasant to do business with, and the roofer that made the repair, 'Butch' was very amiable as well! The work and craftsmanship met my high standards. The only issue I had was the cost of the repair. I thought it was a bit high for the amount of work that needed to be done. All and all a good experience

After a heavy rain water was coming thur my roof, I admittedly search an came across Allen @ R A Woodard an Sons to give me a admittedly response, job briefing an estimate. Whole roof job done with good price an service done in least than a week time. I highly recommend them for a good job.

Excellent service and work! Fast response to my call this morning about a roof leak! Mr. Brinkley came right over to make the repair. Plus, the owner, Mr. Woodall made a follow-up call to me in response to my email notifying him of my problem. I am very pleased with their work and their customer service.

Great company. Came out within a day of requesting an estimate...new roof within a week of deciding to go with the company. We got several estimates and they were the best. Mr. Woodall came by prior to the roof being put on to make sure everything was correct went over the estimate again and explained to process. He came the day the roof was put on several times to check on the job. And was available thru phone and email for any questions while we decided on what company to use. The guys who put the roof on did a great job and cleaned up everything great at the end of the day. No surprises. Great company. Would definately recommend!

My experience with RA Woodall and Son was great start to finish. Conversation with the business owner, when I explained the repair my roof needed, was professional and informative. He was able to give me a rough ballpark estimate over the phone, and got me set up with Butch, one of his guys in Newport News. Working with Butch was great. He was professional and informative. Even told me some things about my roof (regarding the shingles, age and quality) that I was curious about. I recommend this business.

We called on Wednesday afternoon with a problem and bright and early Thursday morning the serviceman arrived. He completely the work in a timely manner and was friendly throughout the process. I would recommend them to anyone.

R.A.Woodall & Son roofed my home initially in 2004 and did a great job. Then last year a tree branch fell through the roof and Woodall did another super job, worked with me and my insurance company and replaced my entire roof with upgraded shingles. Again, a great job was done - on time and top quality. They are just the best if you ever need any kind of roofing or any contracting work done call R.A. Woodall & Son.
