Kyle was exceptionally accommodating, working with our budget while still exceeding our expectations. The quality of their work and attention to detail were outstanding. This company did the most amazing job on our home! Prior to hiring R&JL, we hired another company that was the polar opposite of this company. It was a literal nightmare and we ended up firing them after almost all the hardy board was installed because of poor workmanship. We found R&JL Exteriors and after looking at some of their completed projects, we hired them and are we happy we did! We worked with Kyle & Jackson, who were there to see the project through at every turn. The construction site was cleaned at the end of each workday, the siding was beautifully done, and their knowledge and professionalism put our minds at ease after a previous horrific experience. We give them the highest recommendation if you are looking for a great job to be done on your home!

Our home is a 1970’s ski home in Park City. It needed a lot of love to say the least. Our project required stripping the exterior to the studs and we had a short window this fall before the snow started flying. We met with the owner and his project manager and they laid out an aggressive timeline, including holding off on the painting until the spring. We were a bit skeptical, but they seemed very confident.

We chose James Hardy product paid out deposit and waited. Boy did this team deliver. They showed up when they said they would and had all of the siding up with 3 days. Quick professional and timely.

The winter came and so did the snow. The team was anxious to paint in March with a few warmer days. We were not comfortable the paint would cure correctly and they were understanding and patient.

When it was finally time to paint, the painter showed up and like their other teams quick and professional.

I highly recommend this company for their integrity, work quality and professionalism. You may find someone slightly less expensive but you won’t find a better value.

Jake came out for a paint and siding quote for our house and was extremely knowledgeable about exterior home improvement. He could answer all of my questions about the inevitable nuances of an older homes exterior (in this case aluminum siding). He was swift, professional, and efficient and not pushy at all. We had a competitive quote within 24 hours and he did an excellent job of communicating verbal & writing in a timely manner.

We hired R&JL exteriors for the replacement of the siding, soffit, fascia and guttering for our home. Our old siding was outdated, weather worn, and we were excited to get a fresh look to our home. Jake came out to our home to give us a quote. The quote that R&JL gave was significantly less than other companies that had been out to quote us. We still received James Hardy siding and most of the “upgrades” that other companies were offering. Jake was fantastic to work with! The process of the quoting and designing went well. They put Brian on our account as the “project manager”. This is where we had most of our problems. We had notified them that we were going to be out of town and still had people showing up at our house without warning. On multiple occasions we were never told that workers would be at our house or even when the work would be officially starting. The siding guys tore down in one day and started prepping. The overall time it took to put the siding up was not long. However, we encountered several problems once the workers left. They left quite a mess in our yard with screws, nails and old siding from the tear down everywhere. There were also some spots where it looked like they got lazy and didn’t want to recut some of the siding, so they left it for the painters to fill in. About a week after the siding went up, the painters showed up without notice. The painting crew did a phenomenal job and I was very happy with their work, it took them about a day and a half to prep and paint. Then about a week later, the gutter guys showed up. The gutter guy took a couple of hours to put up guttering. While we had a few bumps along the way, the biggest one being communication, the overall project came out well and we would hire R&JL again. No home improvement project goes without issues but over all it was a decent experience. Working with Jake was the smoothest part of the project, and we were glad to have him on the account!

R&JL has been doing our work for a while. They have great customer service and are awesome at what they do!

R&JL did a great job on my house. They were fast efficient and fair priced. My only complaint would be the rain gutter downspout next to my front porch entrance was a little bit of an eye sore. They came out and tried to fix it but it was a difficult situation that didn't have a really good option.

They went WAY above and beyond our wildest expectations!!! They were extremely prompt and VERY hard working. I would recommend them to everyone. I promise you won't be disappointed. It was well worth the money

I worked with Matt and he did a great job! He was very knowledgeable and professional. I used their services for siding and other aluminum products. The order arrived on time and in good condition. They did forget to deliver a few smaller items but once I notified them, they dropped it off later that day. They even bought back what I didn’t use and picked it up for me! They’re very responsive and easy to work with. This is a company with great service, I definitely recommend!

The guys at R & JL exteriors are fantastic. I was working with a different company who was supposed to remodel the exterior of my home in the spring of 2021. After removing the old siding, gutters etc & taking a deposit they disappeared, completely ghosted me! While dealing with the legal end of that I still had to find another company to finish the job. After meeting with a few different companies I decided to go with R &JL exteriors & I’m so glad I did! They started on my house in February 2022 which was a few weeks earlier than expected. The weather cooperated & everything was finished by May. New siding, soffit, facia, gutters, shutters & doors/trim painted. I love the way my house looks now! Thank you!!

They did my roof and then I had them come back to do facia and soffit. They were easy to work with and very professional . I thought that there prices were very reasonable. When there was a fairly minor problem with their work that they easily could have ignored, they immediately noticed it, brought it to our attention, and fixed it at their expense. Great company to work with. After a failed attempt to replace our siding with a different contractor, we were able to hire R&JL exteriors and are glad we did. Jake and Jackson were timely with estimates, but unfortunately COVID/production delays pushed our project back a couple of months. Once they were able to get to our project, it was done beautifully and fast! I would say only thing to work on as a company is communication and updates, but otherwise we were impressed!

Our salesman Kyle was easy to work with and knew his stuff. We love the way our roof turned out, as well as the soffit and gables which we re-did as well.
There were some delays in materials but that is to be expected right now with the worldwide transportation mess! But everything was fine in the end and it just looks great!

The wind had ripped away the fascia over the course of several years which left the soffits sagging and my house looking very decrepit. I received two separate recommendations for R&JL Exteriors and they exceeded my expectations. The pricing was very reasonable and the quality of their work was excellent. The sales contact has been great to work with. The company delivered on what they promised to do which is no small fear given the current supply chain issues. I will be having the company do Phase 2 of my exterior rehab.

R&JL really emphasized the quality of work when installing the hardy siding and soffit facia and paint on our home. We definitely felt like the front office and installers cared about the look of our home as much as we did. We are in the process of building another home and we will proudly use R&JL Exteriors again! Beautiful work at a reasonable price!

R & JL Exteriors were great! I worked with Matt and he was incredible to work with. Everything ran smoothly and he was always very responsive. We got our soffit, fascia and gutters done and it all looks wonderful. I would highly recommend them! If we ever decide to do more with our home on the exterior I will definitely be coming back. It was a great experience!

Our experience with this company has been horrific. Jake came to the jobsite to take a look at the job with the material already onsite. He sent a proposal and we signed and agreed they would start after 3 weeks. The Thursday before the 3 week mark we reached out to jake to make sure we were still on schedule. He confirmed we are. Then 2 days later we texted him to ask what time the guys would be onsite so we could make sure everything was in place. Jake then texts and says they cant start for anouther week. We confirmed just 2 days before. Then when his Subcontractor shows up he decides he cant do the job. So these guys dont even have employees just subteir Subcontractors that can say they dont want to do the job. A week later another Subcontractor comes and does just a little bit of work and then decides he doesnt want to do the job as well. Finally they send another Subcontractor, only 1 guy. After about 2 weeks of the 1 guy, he also quites and says he cant do the job cause its to hard. These guys are a joke, i wouldnt use them on any job as they dont even have their own guys just other Subcontractors. They abandoned the job.

Set an appointment with Matt. He never showed. Called him multiple times to try and reschedule. Never got a call back. Just classic bad customer service.. Don't waste your time. If the service is anything like the communication, you'll be disappointed. Moving on.

This is a follow up to the owner reply on 7-18-2025. You are claiming that I am being dishonest. Which I do not appreciate. I don't lie. Ever. You are implying that I am. There was not a miscommunication. You were not there that day for our appointment and you KNOW it... Nobody was. That was the extent of it. Then what, SIX years later you decide to respond and act as though you are certain that I just fabricated some review? For what? Why would I do that exactly? I'm sorry, but the simple fact that it took you SIX years to respond doesn't bode well for your own credibility. If you had just apologized, I legitimately would have removed the review. I will do that for any business that takes the time to acknowledge an error.
