Please be aware that this company allows anyone to enter your home. They do not know their workers. Please make sure you have cameras all over your house as they will act suspicious and take things from your property and the company won’t even apologize , all they will say is that it was a mistake. Also project manager will only be available when is time to receive the money.

In response to their response : I was advised by YOU guys that you guys didn’t know the people as they weren’t even wearing the company uniform. And yes , a drill was taken from my property and was returned back as it was a “mistake”. How unprofessional to say that they didn’t know it wasn’t theirs when it was sitting in MY shelf. We questioned them and they all said they didn’t know what we were talking about until I reached out to a manager with a video clip of them talking about “stealing something” one of the guys said : did you steal it ?. The only person that advocated for us was Chris which works for the plumbing company . (The plumbing company gets a 5 start )

Mike was a perfect manager and point of contact. I felt so updated, aware of my options, and most of all encouraged about what was to come. I knew every step along the way that he was on my side and was fighting for me to have the best outcome.
Then all of our contractors, subs, and specialists were amazing. Andres, Mondo, Ryan, Trevor, Cathie, and James were all so efficient, considerate, and made sure I was happy with the work and the results.
They all guided me and gave me options when i was overwhelmed and lost in a remodel I never planned on being in.
You definitely want this team by your side in any construction project, restoration, or insurance claim.

When my upstairs kitchen decided it wanted to become a water feature—and generously shared that experience with my basement—I thought I’d have to turn my home into a modern art exhibit called “Flooded Regret.” Enter Valley Construction, capes metaphorical but work boots very real.

Kaylee and Mike, my dynamic project-managing duo, swooped in like HGTV superheroes and turned my kitchen from “Lake Dismal” back into a culinary paradise. Ryan, the flooring whisperer, guided me through a jungle of options and helped me pick floors so nice, I’m thinking about enforcing a sock-only policy.

The crew he brought in? Absolute legends. These guys worked like caffeinated beavers—tireless, focused, and probably allergic to shortcuts. They didn’t stop until every board was perfect and every bit of the chaos was transformed into calm.

Now my house is not only back in order—it’s better than before. I half expected a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a standing ovation.

If you’re in crisis and need your home rescued, don’t call Ghostbusters. Call Valley Construction. Just maybe don’t flood your kitchen to find out.

Value construction is absolutely an incredible company to work with. After coming home late to a flood in our house that not only ruined rooms upstairs but also destroyed almost my entire basement, my insurance company turned us on the valley construction. They were amazing. They were here the next day. They took over everything working with the insurance company demolition putting everything back together even down to the slightest little paint touchup or repair was completed quickly and it looks amazing What I thought would take several months to repair these guys were able to take care of in a few weeks. If you want high-quality work in a company that keeps you involved and up-to-date every step of the way go with valley construction.

We used these guys back in 2022, and it was a rocky experience to say the least. Within the last three years, everything that was done has been consistently falling apart. Even at the time of construction, the subcontractor communicated to us that they had to terminate an employee that had worked on our project for poor workmanship, and the fixes completed still look janky. We had another leak through the ceiling as a result of improper grouting, but once the project was complete we just left it as-is because we just wanted to be done with it. Our master bath has not been able to be used since then. It seems that our experience was a one-off as there are some stellar reviews here, but we’ve learned from this experience and have done more thorough research on contractors that we have used since.

My home had a water leak from the unit over and recked my kitchen. Mike and his team at Valley construction were amazing. Got to work with a few different people on the team and everyone was super communicative during the project. If I had questions Mike was super fast at responding. Now we are happy with the results from the restoration and got some updated floors that look amazing thank you valley construction.

Valley Construction did an amazing job for me. Days before I had lost my husband tragically and to make things worse part of my basement flooded. Jerry was so understanding and helpful, knowing I had more to worry about than my basement at the time. After a separate disaster cleanup company had finished airing the space out Valley Construction repaired the walls with matching paint, added new material under sections of my carpet and then hired a maid service to vacuum and clean my washer and dryer. After everything looked great they also hired a carpet cleaning service to finish the job! They kept me well informed every step of the way. Jerry even came by to make sure I was happy and gave me some flowers to let me know he was sorry for my loss. I thank their team and everyone for a job well done. Thanks for making things a little easier.

We worked with Valley Construction to restore one of the bathrooms after we found the toilet was leaking. The whole process was really smooth from start to finish. They were very professional, very accommodating and worked really quickly. They worked well with our home owners insurance and definitely took care of us. Working with their project manager Jerry was a true pleasure. He helped me understand the work required to get everything fixed after a leak in the bathroom upstairs broke through the ceiling on the main floor. The project was completed quickly and with little stress thanks to Jerry!

Run from this company as quickly as you can. The experience I had with them was an absolute disaster. They had to fix my floor 4 different times because they couldn’t do the job correctly. And no, it was no small issue. The grout on my floor kept cracking. They had to come fix other issues 2 more times, because their workers were lazy and didn’t want to take care of the job.

Their communication was also disastrous and incredibly unprofessional. I would go weeks at a time with no response. We canceled plans time and time again because they said they would be working, then just no show.

On top of all of this, the work they did in my house is absolute garbage.

Avoid this company at all costs and save yourself the headache.

James Lovelace was kind, knowledgable, and the team that did the work were also wonderful. I've never been treated so well at any place I've been and I'm so grateful for the skill that these men had.

Valley Construction was great to work with. They offered good support and recommendations on how to keep my project within budget when my insurance claim was denied. Jerry was kind and responsive as the project manager and Erick completed the work paying attention to details.

Took way too long to do a small project. They scratched my new floor and never repaired it. Kept charging additional fees promises were not kept. I’m frustrated my insurance recommended them and feel they did not earn repeat business. They had way too many clueless sub contractors show up at my house and not do any work. Of course when they received the insurance checks they were at my house within 30 minutes to get the check signed.

Valley Construction did an amazing job restoring my basement after it was flooded. Beau and his team were great! Down to the last detail, everything was repaired professionally and to the highest standard. I highly recommend them for any construction need, and I will definitely be using them in the future.

I have been working with Valley Construction for 2 months on a flood restoration. They were referred to me through my insurance company to do my home restoration.
They have been an amazing team. They ebb and flow seamlessly from each department. They were quick and responsive to get things started and to call me back. They have been extremely patient with me as I have an indecisive personality and can be very difficult to work with for contractors. If I could give them 6 stars I would.

Valley Construction has been great to work with so far. I live in a condo in south Provo and had a pipe burst in the central waterline that runs to the entire complex that ended up damaging one of my rooms. Alex with VC worked with my home insurance and got everything covered (including the concrete removal and restoration which my home insurance originally said would not be covered) and Jerry immediately showed up to assess the damage and get his crew on-site as soon as he was able. They've already restored all of the drywall and baseboards and it looks even better than before the pipe leak. I'm now just waiting on them to restore my shower and am hoping we can get that finished up in the next 1-2 weeks.

Really don't recommend this company they are very sketchy and Kaylee is extremely rude and unprofessional they were recommended to me by bingham restoration company Valley came out to give me a estimate on repairs for my property and it seems they just wanted to waste my time and are refusing to give me the estimate with out me signing paperwork for work authorization first which I will not do i don't know if I want to hire them with out looking at the price first and because I won't sign any paperwork they want to charge me a 250.00 for the estimate every other company out there dose free estimates and when I called them out on it Kaylee called me crazy so beware

We love Jerry over there at Valley! He sent everyone to me with samples or to get work signed off which made it super easy to get our project done. He kept me updated and made sure everything was done on time and quick. 10/10 will always work with them!

Very poor communication and a really RUDE receptionist. They required a large deposit which I paid and hadn’t heard back how soon my bathroom could get done. I’ve been waiting over two weeks. The receptionist said it was all my fault THEY hadn’t communicated with me because I could call as many times as I wanted. I asked for my deposit back and they were really rude about it.

After a nasty, messy plumbing issue in my basement Valley Construction was recruited by the mitigation team to rebuild for me. It wasn't a big job in the grand scheme of things, but it was treated as important to me, especially by the worker who did the work. Thank you

They’ve claimed I lost in court. Not true, I won and you had to pay because guess what? The work wasn’t done and or complete. So just seeing his response what stain on society they are.

Been working with them for a little bit and couldn’t ask for better communication and experience, I would say you could guarantee coming here would be your best option.

This company took over a flood mitigation and repair project. The project manager only came out when asked and the floors they had installed were not level or well installed. All of the communication has been terrible. On more than one occasion they have said they were coming to finish the job and they have not showed up or communicated that at all. Really unhappy with the way this job has been handled. And really looking forward to the job being complete so that we can be done with them. It’s been over a year now.

Valley Construction has been nothing but amazing to work with! They are a full service construction company, they handled absolutely everything! The office staff is so friendly. They really took the time to make sure all my questions were answered. I can’t say enough good things about the project manager that was assigned to us either. He was prompt, quick (and efficient), and again, took the time to answer any questions. Not to mention my house looks amazing! I will continue to use Valley Construction for any/all projects I have on my home!

We had water damage at our home. Fixes needed were walls, baseboard, carpet.Valley Construction gave the work to a subcontractor who never did any work. Claimed they could not get the baseboards even though 300+ were in stock at Lowes. Added drywall without insulation - so drywall had to get removed again. Now I am still stuck getting my money back, getting excuse after excuse for managers need to review the case.
Completely unreliable.And while at the beginning they led with empathy, the latest interactions with their billing department were just plain rude.

As a local realtor, I see my clients get into homes that need so much work sometimes. Was intoduced to Chris and this team And there is nobody I will go to now before I give them a call and have them check it out. They do anything and everything, and they do it better than anybody else! If you are in need of restoration or renovating, call these guys!

The company never completes any project on time even after being paid in full!!!!! The restoration project has been continually ongoing for over 9 months. We are displaced and out of our home for the period of this project. The company refuse’s to respond or answer any phone calls period. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY BY ANY MEANS!

Perhaps we're just a one-off bad experience, but Valley dropped the ball on about everything possible. Almost every aspect of the project was late and poorly done the first time. The workers who came to our home didn't really know the scope of the project. We felt like we were managing both the PM and the workers throughout most of the project.

Arnold and his crew came in and finished the work fast and efficient! They really did a great job of doing it right and so quick. I will use Valley Construction on any job I need in the future.

I get the quote, accept it, and ready to go. Letting them know I am on a deadline for my project. And all I've been hearing is crickets. I've had to chase them a few times in the last month asking what the holdup is. They keep claiming it's with insurance, and they'll get back to me in the next couple days, by the end of the week, ex. but I never hear back.
My deadline has come and passed and nothing has happened.
I kept getting excuses that they were waiting on insurance. Funny thing is this is a home renovation. My insurance won't cover this, and I don't even see a claim submitted with my insurance company!
I payed in cash to get the job done, yet not a thing happed for months. I just got the run-around. Why is it so hard to find a good contractor?!
Luckily they did refund my money (through a check in the mail delaying my project even further) but the cost of delaying the sale of my house, mortgage payments, and just plane frustrations caused for months long delays, a refund isn’t enough.

Update: More aggravating; only to prove my point I see the below response MONTHS after I posted my review, after another actually competent and trustworthy general contractor has finished the project and the house has been sold.
It would have been less enraging if they just didn’t bother responding. Where is the negative stars button?

A friend of mine recently moved into a condo and within the first two days discovered that there were a lot of pre-existing issues that weren't disclosed. I reached out to Valley Construction about it, asking if someone could come out and take a look, give us a good idea of what needed to be done, and we scheduled a day/time.

It was pretty convenient that they offered a plumber and a tradesman*, since the issues in the condo were with both and having one company take a look at both issues seemed like a good idea. The interactions setting up the appointment felt professional, and at the same time personable.

I wasn't able to be on-site when they were there today, but my friend's first text to me was, "These guys seem great!" We were expecting a tradesman* and a plumber duo, but it was a whole team of several different people who came out to look at the property. They inspected both my friend's condo, as well as the neighbor's condo to see both sides, did tests and were extremely thorough in making sure they knew exactly what needed to happen, and what they were working with.

We are waiting on the official paperwork showing numbers on what this will take to get done, but so far the experience has been nothing short of amazing. I'll update this post as the rest of the process continues

*not sure if "tradesman" is what you would call him, I'm still learning all the verbiage involved with this type of work, but he was going to be the one looking at the non-plumbing related, structural stuff

Valley construction was prompt with a quote and provided all the necessary information for our insurance company. I appreciated the workers were always respectful of our time by showing up when they said they would be there. The finished project was done with great quality and professionalism. Beau at Valley Construction was extremely helpful and made the process of rebuilding my basement after a flood seamless! I give them a 5 star rating. Mike and his team are awesome!! They were always giving me updates as to what they were doing and what was on the agenda for the day. I would definitely recommend them for any remodeling that needs to be done.

I’d do zero stars if I could. The employees that came and did repairs were amazing and did great work. But the project manager was awful. Beau had awful communication and was so sketchy with money. He requested 9k supplemental from my insurance just to order flooring for 2 small rooms and a set of stairs. No installation or anything, just to order the material. Which isn’t even a 1/4 of that cost. When I asked he suddenly knew nothing. Had them try to skimp me on other parts of the project multiple times as well. Fired them from the job it was awful

These guys do great work! They are very good at communicating and keeping the project on track. Their quality of work is where they excel the most. Would recommend to anyone!

Parker managed a project for us and did an amazing job remodeling our kitchen and bathroom after a fire. Super quick at everything and looked better than it did before the fire.

Mike and his team at Valley Construction were great to work with on my recent home owner’s claim for a water backup on my basement. They were responsive and courteous and worked hard to get my basement back to being liveable! I would recommend them for any construction and restoration work you need.

Alex Cadjan was the contractor that overseen the restoration of my basement after it flooded. He was extremely kind and professional and was quick to respond to my questions or concerns. I highly recommend him for any kind of construction projects.

I’ve worked with Valley for a few years now and they have been exceptional. They do great quality of work in a timely manner and are very fair with pricing with great communications throughout the project. If you’re ever working with insurance companies they are the go to company to work with. They work with lots of insurance companies to make sure the project gets expedited opposed to other contractors I’ve worked with in the past trying to nickel and dime to make more money. Valley will prioritize the customers needs to make it a smooth and stress less process.

Always available first call, Brian comes out day two to inspect and get homeowners back to normal as quickly as possible. This is my go to repair company!

We needed to get our family of seven out of our house while extensive repairs due to a broken pipe were done. We decided to repaint and do some other upgrades while we were out, and ended up moving nine times to different hotels and Airbnb’s before it was done. We were amazed and grateful for Valley’s consistent commitment to support us through that difficult time. Alex Cadjan oversaw the work for most of that time. He responded as soon as he was able to every one of our many concerns and requests. Sometimes we needed something beyond what his responsibilities required, and we were thrilled with the recommendations from his extensive network; they were top-notch and exactly what we needed. Once there was a frozen pipe in the basement that broke; Alex let us know but called a plumber and arranged for the drywall repairs himself. It made so much difference for us to know that he was watching out for us and that we were in good and capable hands.

Valley Construction to the rescue! We had a bad experience with another construction company who took our deposit and ghosted us, so we had trust issues going into this. However, we were pleasantly surprised how responsive, helpful, and fair Alex was as our project manager. I just wish I would've went with them in the first place! Because of Valley, a nightmare bathroom remodel situation (started with a sneaky toilet leak which had mold and the flooring had asbestos that required an abatement company, etc.) had a happy ending. We are very pleased.

Where to start! Like the other 1 star review, everything was fine, but the quality of the repairs and that is the most important thing. Alex Cadjan and his managing was the only good thing about this company, and the only reason a 0 star is now 2 stars. Ultimately, there were still things to fix, but I just kind of gave up having them come back over and over and over.

Their movers were absolutely unprofessional, and they didn't finish the job of moving everything due to laziness. Well, the most important thing to move were my beanbags, and they left those in the room during the entire repair, causing the beanbags to get extremely dirty.

The carpet padding I can tell they cheaped out on it. They either used my old padding or they used different padding because parts of my carpet are lower, and you can literally feel it at different levels.

The carpet. They talked about installing the carpet as a whole so that there are no seams. That was a lie because I can so clearly see the seams and even saw them installing the carpet in patches. When we first met to do the carpet, a pro carpet installer came to measure up everything, and then suddenly, the guy was "busy." I can tell Valley Restoration had to downgrade the installer because the other guy just wasn't happy about the money being from an insurance company, and therefore, the payout would be smaller.

The tile. They couldn't afford to replace some of the tile, so they replaced it with mdf crowns. Everything was done at an amateur level, which I need to pray buyers won't notice when I sell the place someday. They also broke a part of my stairs and never replaced that. Again, I'm just done dealing with this company's incompetent workers.
