I walked in and while 1 customer was being attended to, 2 other fairly young employees were leaning on the edge of the counter, talking and on their phones for 5+ minutes. I didn't even realize they were employees until someone from outback called them to serve me. I wanted a siding match and the young man told me they don't have that siding and their store in Alexandria doesn't either. I was about to go when the man from out back came looked at my siding, pressed a few buttons on the computer and told me there is 120+ lengths in Alexandria.

This young man has little to no interest and is terrible at the front desk. I won't be coming back to the store again, I will stick to Alexandria.

I'm a contractor. I do not have a rep for beacon. I called in with some questions about slate for an urgent repair and the person I talked to was helpful, patient, well spoken and knowledgeable. I don't remember who I spoke to.

P J McTavish & Co is a Roofing and Sheetmetal company for almost 40 years in the DC area and has been using this store as its primary supplier.
Nothing in life is perfect, but the current and past staff are always very helpful, courteous,

We recently needed a skylight and Sam, the manager of the store was able to get the skylight we needed for our customer in 3 days. Resulting in satisfaction with our customer. Thanks Sam.
