Within a few hours of one of the big storms last week, we suddenly realized we had water pouring into a basement bedroom. As our house is 30 years old, we have had our share of water damage and Core Team is literally on our speed dial. My wife quickly called Core Team in panic mode and they offered to be at our house first thing the next morning. And once again, they took the time to thoroughly assess the damage and explain everything clearly, from what they found to exactly how they planned to fix it. My home flooded with 2 feet of water in a flash flood, just six days after purchase. Core Team was at my house the same day and immediately set up comprehensive water remediation. From water removal, to demo, to construction, they handled ever detail with care and excellence. During the project, we discovered additional/unexpected water damage. Noel immediately communicated the unexpected and offered a variety of solutions at different price points. It can be challenges to find contractors in the DMV and Noel is the best of the best. I cannot recommend Core Team highly enough!

We had some flooding in our laundry room, bathroom, and hallway. Noel, Jim, and Reuven did a terrific job with remediation. Among the things I liked: great communication and prompt, professional service. There was one tricky area that required a follow-up visit, which they resolved quickly and at no extra charge. They really care about doing the job right.

Core Team came in right after a pipe burst at my home and did a great job of mitigation and clean up. They were prompt, communicative, and courteous. They were able to minimize the damage and prevent mold through minimally invasive steps to avoid larger repair costs down the road. They were significantly less expensive than another company that had proposed much more significant steps including removing the walls entirely. Core Team came highly to me, and I would highly recommend them to others.

Noel at CORE was VERY responsive, something I greatly appreciate. He came to review the scope of work and gave us a couple of options. The mold remediation we needed done was not a large job, but was fixed in a couple of hours. They removed our baseboards, fixed back into place and painted. It all looks seamless! I first heard about Core Team from a neighbor on the app "Next Door". I reached out to Core Team and spoke to Noel. Noel was great! I had previously dealt this a different water mitigation company in the past and was very stressed out that I was going to get taken advantage of again (yes there are def some bad actors out there that take advantage of home owners in the time of a water damage crisis so buyer beware). That said, Noel was calm, confident and communicative and made sure that he was personally involved and invested with my current water issues (flooding from a 3rd floor bathroom down all three levels of my home). He kept me abreast every step of the way and his team was responsive, respectful, efficient, and got the job done. Noel is currently working with my Insurance company to file for damages and I have complete confidence in both the work that they do as well as their fair pricing and assessment of my situation. Over President's Day weekend, a devastating wind storm brought down several large trees on our property, leaving us in a state of shock. We were incredibly fortunate to find Noel and the Core Team, a local disaster mitigation and remediation contractor whose service and expertise are truly unrivaled. I've worked with numerous contractors over the years, and they are, without a doubt, the best in class.

From the moment I called, I knew we were in good hands. Noel arrived to inspect the damage that very morning, despite it being a federal holiday. The next day, his team was on site and completed the entire job in just two days. Their efficiency was astounding. They immediately arranged for asbestos and lead testing, which was completed on the same day. They secured our home with plywood, moisture barriers, and tarps within a single day, and the debris was cleared the following day. I am still in awe of how quickly they moved to help us.

We had a pipe burst on a Saturday night during the January freezing temps and it gushed water into our basement. Core was at our house almost immediately and was able to get it all cleaned up that night. They returned 2 mores times in the following next few days to check on everything. Incredible service and such wonderful people to work with in the state of an emergency!

The CORE team were incredible. We had a small leak in our basement and the first contractor that came to our house quoted thousands of dollars for remediation, which included tearing up our entire floor. We called Noel at CORE for a second opinion and he and his team used water and heat sensors to determine that the water had not reached the subfloor, so no remediation was needed! Can you imagine? A contractor telling you the truth, even if it means less work… incredible stuff and there is no one else you should call for water damage in the DC area.

Noel and his team took immediate action for our sewage backup in our basement to cleanup the mess, replace all contaminated surfaces and items and work with our insurance company on claims. Their professionalism and attention to detail was impressive, and they were extremely accommodating of our family's schedule and needs to have the work done on a specific timeline for hosting Thanksgiving company. We were very pleased with the work done in our basement by Core Team. Their representative was very knowledgeable, and we received advice that kept the scope of the project reasonable. At the end, the project was completed a bit faster than planned, and it came in under budget!

Were overseas when we heard from a neighbor checking on our house that we had suffered a flood. We interviewed several companies long distance (as we were trying to return), and chose Core bc they seemed to have their act together; would give us personal attention; and would remediate as quickly as possible to minimize spread and the extent of the damage. They worked for several weeks, first removing damaged carpet and drywall and then cleaning the basement to eliminate mold and mildew. After a month an industrial engineer's test affirmed that the basement was (squeeky) clean. In addition, we needed advice about our homeowner's insurance, contents inventory, air quality testing, and other questions we had not previously confronted, and Noel was more than generous in assisting us. Highly recommended.

Noel and his company, Core Team, Inc, are fabulous. When our basement flooded, he came to our house almost immediately after we called him and walked us through the whole process. He was very kind during a stressful situation and patiently answered our many questions. He has a wonderful team that was super fast in cleaning up the mess. It’s my understanding that companies like ServPro take much longer and are much less personal.

We then hired Noel and his team to put our basement back together. He and his team coordinated with the waterproofing company, tile company, and others. They did a fabulous job at re-building our basement. Noel and his team are very detail-focused. Noel came to our house a number of times through the process to supervise his crew and ensure that all the work was impeccable. They were extremely responsive. The basement looks absolutely beautiful. His cleaning crew was terrific too.

I dont usually write reviews unless the service was stellar but I was so impressed with Noel Fisher and the CORE team that I had to rate them. If I could give above 5 stars I would. One of my best friends recommended CORE To me after a water pipe broke in my kitchen that leaked into my garage. After having a different water remediation company ( insurance directed) out to clean, within 3 weeks I started to see black mold grow. I knew the water remediation company hadn’t treated the area as they should have. I called Noel and within a day and a half he was out at my house assessing what would need to be done. He’s so knowledgeable and really seems to care about his customers I felt instantly comfortable and taken care of…like I was in really good hands. His team is excellent and my house is well on its way to being back to normal. Thank God for this company! I highly HIGHLY recommend them if you’re ever in this kind of situation. Especially because mold is no joke!

I settled on CORE for some emergency water remediation from flood damage, and they really bailed me out when I needed it. So pleased with the outcome that I decided to stick with the company for restoration work as well; couldn't be happier.

We had a surprise mold issue. Called Core Team, sent a pic or two, they came out and did an assessment. Gave us a great bid, did an excellent job. Crew showed up early, did all that was in the scope of work and then some. Definitely recommend.
