Purpose Driven Restoration & Remodeling

PDR did the remodel on my kitchen and they did a great job. Everyone from the sales rep, project manager(s) and installers were true professionals. Easy to work with - great with communication - they listened to what I wanted and what I didn't want - and were able to remake my kitchen just the way I wanted. I would highly recommend this company for all your home improvement needs.

This is one of the best companies have work done for you! They looked at my roof and siding. Saw that there could be a little bit of work done but they said honestly it looks good enough that you don't need it right now. What company nowadays doesn't try to upsell you? This just shows their integrity as a company that they're looking out for their customers!

I worked with Brian Gaspard from purpose Driven to get our roof replaced. He was great to work with and very thorough! He was very knowledgeable and walked me through all the details and steps on how the process works. The construction went flawlessly and looks great. They got it done in one day and were very professional.

Purpose Driven Restoration did a great job on our project. They came on time, worked diligently, and were careful around our perennial gardens. A problem arose when they discovered the house’s roof decking had shrunk with age. This meant they had to get another layer on top to restore it to code. They did that promptly and efficiently. The project coordinator, Brad Swanson, stopped by regularly to check on the project. The crew finished up and cleaned the site well. The roof looks great! Nothing was damaged and communication lines are open. Brad checked back recently to see if we were satisfied with the job. We are! We would recommend PDR with confidence to our friends.

They were very open and honest about things. The price didn't change as the project went along, they were here when they said. They did a fantastic job. I am very happy with my new deck.

Blake is very responsive and communicates well. I always feel informed on the status of my project and what the next steps are. They take time to answer your questions and explain things. I love that they worked directly with my insurance company and were an advocate for me throughout the insurance claim process. I also appreciate that PDR supports veteran organizations.

PDR was excellent, worked very hard for me to get USAA insurance yo cover all damage. USAA's adjusters, from Alacrity, were vertical difficult to deal with, giving different information depending upon who we talked to - we spoke to many different people. I highly recommend PDR.

Multiple scuffs to our siding during tear-off. Drip edge looks like it was installed in a hurry. I had to tack up some of the fascia that they left hanging. Also very eager to get final payment from our insurance (texts and emails). Not as eager to get the project scheduled and started with initial payment.

Very impressed with the work PDR did on the siding and shingles for my home. There was a serious issue with getting my insurance to pay the agreed upon amount. Sales Rep Manager Brad Swanson worked with my insurance to get them to pay the $16,000 they refused to pay after agreeing to initially pay it. He went above and beyond in the amount of time he spent getting the insurance to pay. I could not be more pleased with the work that was done for me. 5 stars.

Brad Swanson from PDR LLC worked with us on our home insurance to get two new windows installed. And we also had new window wraps.

We reached out to PDR for a kitchen remodel in 2021.

The PDR representative gave us a competitive bid on our project. We were then pressured to sign the contract before the end of the year as "prices of materials are only guaranteed through the end of the year." So we did. After confirming with our rep that we had put 1/3 down, she replied that she no longer works with the company! We called to get our deposit back and void our contract and were told we couldn't, so we continued to meet with PDR.

We told PDR that we expected them to honor the contract that we signed, but they claimed it was not bid out correctly by their former employee. To which, we said that isn't fair to us. However, we continued to meet, unclear as to what the price for our project would be.

We met roughly 10 times with no less than 6 different PDR reps over the next 6 months. Each time the PDR rep requested to remeasure and that there could "always be a change order."

Finally, they sent over a change order request for custom cabinets for thousands of dollars above our contract, which explicitly stated that it included custom cabinets. We communicated that custom cabinets were included and that we didn't expect to pay for a change order.

Months later, they wrote a letter which included our money back and voided the contract.

This is the worst experience I have had with any vendor.

I understand that they were going through high turnover, but I don't believe that we, as their clients, should have paid for their lack of competency.

PDR definitely earned my business when Sydney noticed that I had hail damage and she encouraged me to call insurance immediately. Had I called a day later I would not have gotten half of the work paid for. PDR did an excellent job, and I would use them again. There were a few hiccups, but PDR was very responsive and making things right.

Been a Homeowner for 21 years...hired numerous contractors. Some good, some not so good. None have been terrible. This one is. I mean, if I could document the past 9 months. 9 months to have one patio door installed. Today is my second date for "install" and again no work being done, nobody showed up. Things happen with schedules I am well aware of. But no call backs. None! Not even a call saying we can't make it today because..........who does that and how can they still be in business? DO NOT CHOOSE THEM FOR ANYTHING. I have no axe to grind. Now I have to find a different installer for the door. So I paid them 2/3 of the entire bill to order me a door that took 8 months and they can't/wont install it.

UPDATE 1/3/23: Project finished.

I do owe it to the people I worked with directly and the company as a whole to say the remainder of the project, install, quality of work, attitude, follow up was very good. The problems I had were with sales and administration. Basically everything leading up to the actual work needed to be performed. The people doing the work who are in your home and talking to face to face were great. It just took a long time to come to that conclusion. I believe changes are being done or have been done where sales and administration are concerned.

We are incredibly disappointed in our experience with this company. Our project is finally done - almost. The city inspector came out earlier this week and stated that we still had had an open electrical permit that needed to be inspected, which was news to us. We've reached out to Purpose Driven a couple of times about that and haven't received a response yet. We will be glad to have this company out of our lives and home when/if they ever get back to us about scheduling whatever electrical inspection is outstanding.

Backing up, almost every step of our journey with this company has been disappointing. Even though it would seem that Purpose Driven has done many kitchen projects, it almost felt like we were their first one. We had three different "project managers" during our project. The first two both seemed incredibly incompetent and unorganized and both had poor communication. I believe they both ultimately left the company or were let go. When we asked the first project manager questions, she would google the answers right in front of us- she knew nothing about kitchen remodels. The second guy was marginally better, but still incredibly inefficient, unorganized and poor with his communication. He would never arrive when he said he would- we never knew when he or the sub contractors would show up, but we knew it wouldn't be when he said they would. The final guy seemed better but he came onboard at the tail end of the project, which is unfortunate. Also, the design fee they charge is a joke. We paid I believe $2,500 for a design fee. When we saw the design, it looked like it came out of Microsoft Paint and it was not to scale. Ultimately, when our island came in, the project manager told us to put it where we want it and that he would nail it down. What did we pay the design fee for again? Also, when he nailed the island down, he put the nails too high so the nail holes showed above the baseboard of the island and had to be touched up with the touch up paint, which shows. For the amount of money we paid, the quality just isn't there. I also had to rip up all of the floor covering/paper and clean up after the project myself and by that point our second project manager had stopped responding to us. For $26,000, I should not have had to do that. My wife did reach out to the person we believe was above our project mangers, but of course he never called her back.

I could go on and on with the inefficiencies, incompetence and lack of communication we dealt with from this company every step of the way, but the moral of my story is that I wholeheartedly do not recommend this company to anyone and will absolutely go elsewhere when we tackle other remodeling projects on our new home.

Terrible, they rescheduled then they didn't show up to the new appointment! After waiting more than 30 min and contacting the company and not knowing if they were showing up or not I cancelled the appointment. I told them I had a phone appointment at 11 and to forget it. They were already 35 min late and I said I didn't have any confidence that they would get the job done on time so forget it.

At this point I feel like there are 2 different parts of this business. The office staff and the woman that came out to do our quote. The office team I spoke with were wonderful but the person that came out was not. The quote I received was incorrect (wrong number of windows to be replaced and wrong kind) and had to be resent more than once and the link did not always work. Then she just dropped off and did not respond to me anymore. I'm not sure if she quit or was fired or maybe just decided she did not need our business but we went with another company because of her poor follow up and obvious lack of knowledge. At least 1 star is required to post but I would have given none at this point.

We hired PDR for a siding project after having a great customer service experience with their staff. We started experiencing problems when the actual work started. The workers did not show up when they said they would. We had to contact PDR and then were told each time that the crew would show up tomorrow. This happened over and over. They also messed up on our order causing multiple delays. Our house had lead paint but they failed to do the lead mitigation completely. I spent hours of my own time picking up sharp siding scraps, razor blades, and nails from my property as well as finishing the paint job they failed to finish. They were helpful in working through some of the other issues we had. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

The installation of the window siding and gutter was very good. We are very pleased with PDR the work and customer services was outstanding.

Great , a very professional crew. They did an excellent job remodeling our kitchen which was 50 yrs overdue. They basically gutted the kitchen and redid everything including flooring and appliances. They were very Covid responsible wearing masks and social distancing when appropriate. They were open to our ideas about our remodel and offered great suggestions and solutions unique to our needs.

Was contacted by Purpose Drive. Restoration after filling out a quote request form on Andersen Windows website. Spoke with Mark a few times about what we were looking to have done (two windows as part of a kitchen remodel). Their quote was $10,000.00 to provide and install two windows in the already framed rough openings. I had other quotes for the same exact Andersen Windows for $2500 without installation. I questioned Mark for a break down of their proposal and he wasn’t willing to provide it, he just stated their price was all inclusive of windows, labor, and warranty. $7,500.00 seems a bit steep for labor and warranty of two windows!

I have had the pleasure to work with Purpose Driven Restoration on several projects. The first dating back to 2013/2014. I was very fortunate to met Purpose Driven Restoration at a Trade Fair after extensive search for someone to do a major reconstruction of the front of our stucco house. Speaking to countless Construction/Consultants we determined that Purpose Driven Restoration was the best fit for our major housing reconstruction needs. It can be exhausting when searching, so rest assured my assessment of what we found is to be true. This was not an easy time having to have a major investment of this magnitude on a bad stucco front of our house. Purpose Driven Restoration was there for us all the way. Not just doing the work but consultation with us all along the way. The entire team of workers that they had showed extreme Workmanship skills. The final outcome of this major project is proof of the quality and dedication that Purpose Driven Restoration told us from the start. We had an eye appealing front of our house that we could not have been more pleased with the entire outcome. We also have used Purpose Driven Restoration for roofing projects and would highly recommend all of their work. Most recently Purpose Driven Restoration did another major overhaul of construction to a Townhouse we purchased. From top to bottom Purpose Driven Restoration once again exceeded our high expectations. We now have a luxury living townhouse that we are again thankful of the hard work and dedication the entire team of Purpose Driven Restoration. We personally would highly recommend Purpose Driven Restoration for any of your construction needs. You will be happy you found them like I was fortunate to find them.

Gave me a bid of 17K for counter tops that I had the exact same thing done for approx. 5.7k from another company in Albertville, MN. Refused to give us a detailed breakdown of how they got to 17k ("We don't do that") and tried to pressure us into signing a contract. Have talked to another friend of mine with the exact same experience- massively over-priced and lack of details.

PDR has been a GREAT company to work with. We've had the pleasure of working with Corey, in specific, to replace our windows and also redo our deck and 3 season porch. They've been very professional and their communication has been excellent. I would recommend this company 10 out of 10 times to any family/friends/strangers! Thanks for the great work! We will definitely be using them in the future.
