Kiser put a new roof on our home, detached garage and sauna. The crew was superb, we were thrilled with the customer service and completed project! I'd recommend this company every day of the week!

Right when we first met Rick Bartels from Kiser Construction, we knew that he was our guy to help with our ice damage garage roof. He handled everything from working with our insurance, which was endless, to schedule all the workers. He was friendly, understanding, compassionate to make things right, always responding to our questions at a timely matter, helpful, down to earth & knows the business. Also Greg Beaty from Kiser was a Big help to get things done right. We trust both of them & made the process much easier. The craftsmanship of our garage is amazing! If we ever needed anything done on our property, they would be the first one we would call. Thanks to all of you at Kiser Construction!

They did a great job. We had a couple things that needed to be redone and they were great about coming back and fixing them. Cleanup was excellent!

We recently needed to have our roof replaced. After getting several quotes we opted to go with Kiser Construction. Besides being the lowest quote, we were impressed with the attention received while going through the quoting phase. Our estimator, Rick, helped us throughout the process and took the time to answer any questions or concerns we had. The work was done in a timely fashion and the quality of the work was exceptional. The roofing crew was great and cleaned up when the job was done. Additionally, Rick followed up after the roofing project was completed to see that we were satisfied and to address any questions. I would definitely recommend using Kiser Construction for any roofing/remodeling projects.

Kiser Construction took amazing care of my Salon in 2020 when we had a roof leakage that brought water into the whole building and damaged the upper level. The entire Salon had to gutted and everything replaced. They worked directly with our insurance company and in a timely matter had the entire salon brought back to a new working operation. They took the time to listen to what we wanted and worked through many hurdles to get things done. I highly recommend calling them for any of your construction needs.

We used Kiser Construction for a home project that involved modifying our stairwell handrails to the other side due to putting in a stairlift for our son. They also made a custom gate to match our railing in our house. It is stunning. They matched it perfect and had beautiful craftsmanship. They were so easy to work with from the beginning! Always on top of it and letting us know where things were during the whole process. Professional, kind and trustworthy. Listened to our desires for the project and fulfilled them!

We are still working with them but up until now everything has been A+ I like working with someone grime the area, I know I can leave Rick, my point man a text and he’ll get right back to me. I feel like I’m the only customer.

We had a flood in our walkout basement last spring and they came very quickly late at night even though the weather was awful. They got the flooding stopped and did the work to clean up the damage and were very professional and kind

After my wife and I purchased my new home we discovered mold behind our built in oak cabinets. Rick and Kiser construction came alongside of us and helped us through this challenging time. All of Kiser Construction’s employees, and subcontractors, were professional and went out of their way to take care of us. The sad thing, half way through this mold project our washing machine discharge hose came off and 15 gallons of hot water poured out onto the wall across our tile and wood floors and into the basement. Within hours Keiser was out and started up fans and dehumidifiers. Because of their fast action they were able to dry out the water damage and we did not have to do any major repairs to our walls or floors. I would highly recommend Rick and all of the people at Kiser Construction.

Our patio door was rotted out in the bottom corners. I was surprised when I was told it wasn't the worst case they had seen. Once we have the ok to move forward it moved quickly. The team cut back all the rot and made it right. Looks great.

The entire process was seamless. I knew what was happening at all times and when it was going to happen. They stayed on schedule! What a great experience.

When I had a major water issue in my lower level I called Kiser and actually had people there the next day (Saturday) to start the dry out process and moving contents. It was amazing! Polite, professional, respectful of our home. I recommend them whenever someone needs help from a flood or storm. Roofing, siding, interior, ice dams etc.

When a drunk driver hit our home, we were in shock and deparate to make our house livable as soon as possible. We had 7 contractors that we reached out to, one referral from Kiser. Three said they were too busy, three said the work was beyond thier scope - and Kiser said they would be out that next day! When we asked the other contractors about Kiser, they had nothing but good to say - your competition respects you, that is high praise! Rusty is most caring and knowledgable, he stepped us through the whole process and advocated for us in ways we can't begin to thank him for. Every single team member is professional and goes beyond what is expected. We had additional upgrades since we were having sigificant work done, and all the work is phenomenal!

My place had water damage and as walls were removed they found more damage. They worked in tandem with my insurance company to get approval and continue. The project went over by 10 days due to supplier delays in receiving bathtub and cupboards. I was and still am pleased with the work done for me.

After this hail storm and their restoration of our damage, we can rest assured our home will stay warm and dry!

Going with your home town company is not always the best idea. Rick is very pushy, does not respond to emails and the work from the roofers well let's just say not finished and we did 60% off the clean up. Not to mention the work in side once it was done it was fine, but covering up an electrical box not good. Home owners should not have to inform them. Would not recommend this company.

Kiser Construction helped us through some water damage at our shop. They were very helpful throughout the whole process. They were conscientious about the cleanliness of our show floor and customers as we were open throughout the whole process. They dealt with insurance company. Very easy to deal with, communication was good, quality of work was what we were looking for. We will certainly call on them again if needed.

Good guys, high quality work. Had a tree fall on my house, they were there and had the tree removed and roof tarped in a few hours. After that experience I also had them replace windows and install a new chimney. They care about your house, as if it were their own. I'd recommend them any day.

I hired this company to replace my siding, and roof after a hail storm. It was nice that they worked directly with my insurance company, taking that stress away. However, during the project, the project coordinator would only work with me by phone and would do everything in his power to not come to my house so that I could speak with him in person about my concerns. There were even times when he would not answer my calls and I wouldn’t hear back from him for days at a time. Part of the contract that I signed was to remove and replace my fence that had been damaged due to wind. The company sub contracted the fence replacement to a local LLC. That LLC removed my fence, but did not come back to start re building the fence until several weeks later. When they finally were ready to start building the fence, Kiser told me that they would no longer be able to continue working with that LLC due to a tax issue when it came time to pay that LLC. The solution they gave me was that they would give me the money to cover the cost of the new fence and I would pay the LLC directly. Kiser told me that there was no other alternatives if I wanted the fence rebuilt. Reluctantly I agreed not knowing that I was violating the contract with them by accepting the money. The LLC built a fence, but did a poor job and never finished all the work as agreed. The job was so poorly done, that I now need to have the entire fence completely replaced AGAIN since it is now falling apart. The LLC also damaged the new siding and caused thousands of dollars in damage to my yard. Kiser denied fault for the outcome of the fence and damage to my property stating that by me taking the money from them for the new fence, I violated my contract with them. Kiser never disclosed that I would be violating the contract at any point by excepting the money and they never had me resign a new contract or a form altering the contract. Unfortunately the judge agreed with Kiser in court and now I’m out thousands for the fence due to the LLC being uncollectible. The siding and roof look nice and was done correctly, but Eva use of their shady business tactics, I would not recommend Kiser to anyone!

This is a great family owned restoration company. If you have had water or fire damage I highly recommend Kiser Construction out of Elk River for your repairs.

Beyond our expectations in look, communication and cost. We had Kiser remove a wall, add windows and renovate our shower. Rusty and Greg provided a great experience and we would happily hire them again in the future.

I'm at the 1/2 way point in my roof replacement and water damage repair and Kiser Construction has by far exceeded my expectations. I have 30 years in commercial and industrial construction and would hire them again. The staff is very responsive and professional. They also helped out a great deal in dealing with insurance. I will follow-up when the project is completed.

Kiser Construction Came out to my home to review my water damage on a Saturday morning and started work right away on Monday morning. I ended up with a beautiful kitchen. All of their work was of the highest quality and I would choose them again.

We would highly recommend Kiser for home repair/renovation based on our recent experience. Rick was quick on the scene when we discovered water damage from a burst pipe and set to work negotiating with insurance on our behalf. The asbestos mitigation team was quick, clean and thorough replacing our tile. Mitchell was outstanding with the flooring, both vinyl in the laundry (which required a lot of intricate cutting) and the carpet (laid seamlessly). Chad was our hero! He went above and beyond with the paneling, framing, doors and trim, working carefully but in a timely manner and with a discerning eye. The end result is so beautiful. We couldn’t be happier.

We had issues with moisture in our house. Kiser came the next morning and found the root of the problem which ended up being way more minor than originally thought. We talked through solutions, things were explained to me and before they left I had a good understanding of what was going on. If I have any issues going forward they will be my first call.

Richard Bartels came to our house on a Saturday afternoon to address creeping water damage. Rick was incredibly thorough and instructed us on a temporary solution to impede the damage, while outlining future steps to be taken. We will certainly be in contact with Rick and his team for the full remedy and any other work we need done in the future. Cannot recommend him enough.

Rick did an awesome job of project managing the remediation, demo, electrical, sheet rock, painting and cabinet work. This is the first time I've worked with a contractor that stuck to their original schedule. The sub contractors were also great to work with and delivered a high quality product. In the end, we are incredibly happy with our new kitchen and other upgrades. Awesome job!

I have contracted twice with Kiser Construction. Once for a flooded basement, and once for roof damage after a hailstorm. In both cases the project manager, Rick Bartles, was extremely knowledgeable and responsive with questions and concerns I had about the project. I had a complete restoration of my basement. Sheetrock, carpet and pad, doors, electrical upgrade, etc. And I had a tear-off and installation of a new roof and gutters with chimney knockdown under the roofl-line, and knowing the quality of their work, I decided to get new siding as well. The final product of each project was exceptional. I can't recommend them highly enough. To the crew, I'd like to say, thanks for your hard work and attention to detail! You guys did a great job!

I have used Kiser Construction a few times, and most recently it was to renovate our home after the unfortunate experience of having a fire. They showed up right away, met with the insurance adjuster, and got to work. All of the work was completed within the promised timeframe, and was done very professionally, with attention to detail. I would highly recommend Kiser Construction.

LOVED the results we got from Kiser construction! We experienced a horrible flood in May 2018- due to an old pipe under our front lawn- and within hours, a gigantic crew came to reassure us, demolish the damage, contact the city and plumbers/electricians we needed, and packed/stored all of our items that were at risk. We have a ranch-style home so half of our LIVES were in our basement- our kids rec room, guest bed and third bathroom damage made it hard to live without but Kiser Construction put us back together, even better than before. We especially loved the reliability, communication, and full follow-through these professionals gave us. THANKS SO MUCH!!!

I just wanted to say thank you. After having the water damage, I had the pleasure to work with Scott, he made the difference from the start to the finish. Kiser Construction was so nice to work with. When you said you would be there at 8:00 in the morning you were there, every time. Your team made living through the mess acceptable.

They charge you for items that they do not fix. They do not have things up to code unless you contact the city inspectors and they contact Rick at Kiser Construcion will he get back to you.

City of Blaine was contacted by Karalee (homeowner) to look into issues she’s having with her roof. We were out there today (5/1/18) and I wanted to let you know of a few things we noticed that need to be fixed.
First, it appears that there are not enough vents in the roof for proper ventilation. To meet State Building Code, there must be one vent for every 300 square feet of home space.
Second, the furnace roof cap was not replaced as your invoice said it would be.
Third, the drip edge installation needs to be redone on both ends of the home. The shingles are starting to peel up and could cause issues.

I have never worked with a construction company that pays more attention to detail and follows up on all the little things necessary to make a project complete. Kiser is a joy to work with and professional in every way. I give them my highest recommendation, and all I have to say are good things about Kiser Construction and their team.

I have worked with Kiser on a number of occasions and specifically with Scott M. They are always very responsive to my questions and work very closely with my clients to help them thru their claim. Last winter we had a fire sprinkler burst at our Harley-Davidson dealership directly over the top of a $30,000 dynamometer loaded with electronics. Flooded and a total loss. Scott from Kiser jumped right on it. The service was great - and it was a challenging project with complications due to the configuration of the new equipment not fitting into the old space - adding in an industry consultant on site to install and configure everything. Scott had contingencies in place that we ended up really needing!. He communicated well with the insurance company and made things easy for us. Highly recommended.

Help! that is what I needed and that is what I got from Kiser. Scott, my project manager, Bret and Jason were extremely helpful in making choices for materials to be used on my kitchen floor and entry and my shower. It was winter and I didn't go out much.
Scott and Bret recommended LVT flooring for the kitchen and entry. No dimples from my walker or canes and the floor is beautiful. Brandon installed it in a day over the existing flooring. Lots of hammering but the results are worth it.
I needed my shower to be handicapped accessible and safe which meant tearing out the preformed shower. I wanted the shower extended and a curved shower curtain rod and curved curb. Jason had started the demo and I had pick up some tile samples. Jason picked up more samples and from one that I picked and one that Jason picked I was happy, but not satisfied. The tile that Jason brought also had a larger one for floors. I am looking at these 2 samples and thinking, " that is going to be one fancy shower, it's going to look out of place". I turned to Jason and said, "How about if we do the floor and the tub surround?" So that's what Jason did. It is beautiful. After I got over the initial WOW! I started to really look at the craftsmanship that went into the project.There are mitered corners, tiles that had to have several angles cut to fit into their spot, and the symmetry, just wonderful. Elegant!
Jason is a focused hard worker.
I did discover a billing error after the fact and reported it to Scott. It was 2 days later and a refund check from Kiser was already in my mail box. That:s impressive customer service. Everyone makes mistakes it's how you correct them that sets you apart.

They do what it takes to get the job done right! The most thorough and professional contractor that I have worked with.

After my house burnt down in August of 2017, we chose to work with Kiser for the rebuild. Nick was so kind and helped my family through one of the most difficult times of our life. Then, in March of 2018, my mom passed away, and Scott taught my older sister and me so much about how building a home worked. He was patient with my millions of questions and organized the build beautifully so my sister and I could focus on the loss of our mom. When it came time for picking out colors, finishes, fixtures, etc. he was a text or phone call away when we were confused or needed some advice. Without his guidance, I don't think we would have been able to manage everything.

The house will be finished this week, and their work is absolutely beautiful. In a time when some companies would take advantage of a family's loss and grief, these people were so kind and helpful. They even came to my mother's funeral... Words cannot express how grateful I am for these guys at Kiser Construction. Good, caring, honest employees, beautiful work, and excellent customer service. I would give them 100 stars if I was able. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
