After discovering a leaking dishwasher that caused water damage from our kitchen to the downstairs bedroom, they were able to come the same day. Within 48 hours, our wood floors were mostly saved, and everything was dry, with only two small holes in the downstairs bedroom. We were greatly satisfied with PuroClean NW’s service when our water heater broke and caused water damage to our home. They came out promptly and were prepared to immediately survey and begin drying the area. For the initial service and all 3 follow ups, we worked consistently with Travis Dick, who was professional, on-time every time and respectful of our property as well as the sleeping 3-month-old baby. The driver of the van with the license plate C28124V on 12/22/24 at 7:50 am is a hazard on the road. With rain and congested traffic, he swerved in and out of lanes, followed dangerously close to everyone, was texting on his phone and I watched as he slammed his breaks multiple times which almost resulted in accidents. These vans are entirely too large to wield them so carelessly. I sincerely hope this staff member's lack of regard for the community isn't shared across all staff within the company. I implore PuroClean to look into this matter and hold their staff accountable.

Bob went the extra mile! The whole crew was really awesome and very easy to work with! I would use them again if need be. They got my house rid of the cigarette smell so I could live in it.

My experience with Anthony Wiediger (PuroClean) was top notch. He was right on time, friendly, even to my dog. He was knowledgeable and kept me aware of the process in which he was engaged in. I also liked the fact he cleaned the bathroom afterwards. I think he cleaned it better than the person prior to him. PuroClean is lucky to have an employee like Anthony!

Anthony gave us the best customer service. He was very patient with us, even though we had a lot of questions and worries about potential future issues due to our water damage. He took the time to mitigate our worries and left us feeling confident that our home is safe. Everything was dried quickly and we ended up not having much damage at all! Everyone we interacted with at PuroClean was very kind and patient.

Crew chief Thomas Ball arrived next day with tools and equipment to correct our flooding damage. A very complete diagnosis was made, equipment installed and two days later we were able to move back in. Very impressed.

When a pipe unexpectedly breaks and water begins flowing through your home you go through several phases of shock. First you jump into action to do what you can to stop the water from coming in, get the buckets under the valve, call an emergency plumber, call the insurance company, then just wait for what happens next. We very quickly heard from PuroClean Northwest professionals. Immediately the manager that appeared with a crew of trucks took me aside and assured me that everything was going to be okay. They were going to work very hard to mitigate the damages and take steps to restore our home again. Through the process of the work in the next week they were very careful with our home and with us. They communicated what they were doing, what to expect next and how to manage expectations. It is not an easy process. We lived with loud drying machines in the house for 5 days and the inconvenience and noise of the dry out. The crew visited to access and monitor the process several times, always with notices that they were arriving. When they completed their work they had double and triple checked that the moisture was gone and gave advice on how to proceed with the insurance adjuster for the remaining damages. All of the staff was courteous, kind and respectful and I believe that they did remarkable work. We will still need repairs further but the work that they did saved our floors, cabinets and walls from needing an entire replacement. This kind of awful event sometimes happens to homeowners. I appreciate working with PuroClean Northwest and recommend their services highly.

We highly recommend PuroClean NW! We needed two appointments: one for a crawlspace inspection, the second for mold remediation. In both instances they were quick to respond.

Alejandro came out as soon as Puroclean could get someone to our home to set up a dehumidifier. He was courteous and respectful. On the second inspection Alejandro came out again, this time with Tim, and made sure the walls were dried out and answered my questions about the process and what should happen next. Thank you for helping us out.

Very reliable and friendly, can’t thank them enough. Bob answered all questions and explained everything in detail, took away lots of worry in a stressful time.

We purchased a flipped home that flooded the day of closing. We hired Puroclean to remediate cigarette smoke and assist with the flooding. The seller had agreed to do some of the flood remediation and we had Puroclean double check that work. While we were convinced there was still moisture in some areas, Puroclean insisted there was not and we ended up with mold infestation that required further remediation. This was not the worst part. We obtained several estimates on the smoke remediation from other companies and all of them said they were not confident they could remediation given our circumstances and that they'd be willing to try and would refund us if it did not work. Puroclean insisted and guaranteed they had the superior method to get rid of the smoke and charged us 2 to 5x the amount of other agencies' quotes. We bought in to the procedure. We had a power outage and water shut off due to other issues with the home and Puroclean said this was not a problem, and returned to finish the work telling us "there is no cigarette smell, our guys did a great job". We returned and this was not the case. We let Puroclean know in writing and for weeks did not hear anything back. Then once we communicated again they said in fact they needed to do more work to complete the process. So we let them come back in to finish the work-- fogging the home with a masking scent that faded over a few days for the cigarette smoke to return. We tried to address this with Puroclean-- all of them are very nice and friendly, but ultimately told us it was our fault they could not do the work due to the power outage. This was never the truth and never communicated while the work was happening. We paid them 15K for 1500 square feet of work that took between 3-5 days in full to complete. I have no idea where that money went or what it was spent on, and we will have to take legal steps to get it back as the company is now unwilling to communicate with us. We had to hire a contractor who confirmed the cigarette smoke and said we'd have to remove the walls to actually remediate it-- this actually cost less than what we paid Puroclean. Once the walls were opened, we could see emphatically that Puroclean's "superior process" never would have worked. All the other cheaper agencies who had enough integrity to tell us the job may not work and the walls should be replaced, were right. Please use caution with these folks.

Sky and his crew were courteous and friendly. They were mindful of closing the doors to keep the cold out and removing boots in the house. They did a great job and were very personable.

JT and crew did an excellent job of quickly setting up fans and fogging our house after a fire. They came by several times to check on our progress and clean up the mess.

I am extremely impressed with Puroclean and cannot recommend them more highly. The entire process of working with them was easy and the quality of their work was outstanding.

My parent’s house had a pipe burst upstairs causing extensive water damage throughout the house. I didn’t have prior experience in home damage and insurance matters, and it could have been unbelievably stressful and overwhelming. There were tons of things to figure out and I needed help. I feel so fortunate to have had puroclean and specifically Mr. John Jones as lead field technician, as they were everything you’d wish for in a home damage situation.

Mr. John Jones and the whole puroclean team were communicative, professional, and exceedingly knowledgeable. John patiently answered all of my questions, from the very basics about insurance logistics and who does what, to going in-depth into damage identification and prevention.

When I was interested in his ghostbuster-like water detector, he showed me how it works. When I was curious what carpet damage looks like, he taught me what delamination means. There were countless instances of John sharing wisdom to educate and empower, beyond executing highly skilled and labor-intensive mitigation work.

He provided status updates throughout the process about what to expect, and he even shared practical knowledge about home ownership that will be useful for the rest of my life.

The quality of work was outstanding. They took great care to protect all the items in the house and work around our needs. Even though they didn’t have to do so, they were careful to remove tiling without destruction, just in case it could be salvaged or repurposed. Communication was also a breeze, as Puroclean was already coordinated with my insurance, and the team was consistently available for anything I needed.

My only experience with this company occurred this morning in a Safeway parking lot. As I was loading my groceries a van from PuroClean, pulled through an empty parking space (cutting off a woman walking), and hit/rotated my motorized mirrors. The mirror now has a rigid motion, and the 3 guys inside the truck said "sorry bro. It's just the mirror. We all good?"

I took photos of the van, and will follow up with the owner if the condition of my mirror deteriorates.

It is definitely my honor to have Alejandro and Freddy to fix water damage in my laundry room. After their work, everything is completely dry and they are also responsive and patient. Teaching me how to mitigate the issue, they left the dehumidifiers and fans more than one week to completely dry the affected area from laundry room all the way to living room ceilings. They are also very careful and to check nearly everywhere in my house to make sure there is no wet area anymore. I am very impressive by their high skills, friendly attitude and responsive and prompt action.

A pipe burst and flooded our home during the recent ice storm, and Bob and his team came out same-day to evaluate and mitigate the damage. Though we had an inch of water on our hardwood floors, thanks to the expedient response from Puroclean, we were able to save our floors with minimal disruption to our daily life. Bob was thorough, thoughtful, experienced, and most importantly, kind - despite this happening right before Christmas, Bob came to our house multiple times a week, even on Christmas eve, to ensure the floors were drying appropriately. There is never a convenient time for this type of life event, but Bob and his team were tireless as they helped us navigate the flood and ensure our home was safe from mold or other post-flood concerns. John “JT” was very honest and knowledgeable. He told us our water leak case from our leaky toilet that caused water damage to our subfloor wasn’t too severe (thankfully) and directed us how we can resolve it on our own. He didn’t try to upsell anything to us like some companies would do. He even helped us remove the baseboard and cleaned up the area with their commercial grade antimicrobial spray. Fantastic company! JT was prompt, compassionate, highly detailed, and clear. Every step of the way he explained every step of the process and took the time to show me the readings and the physical indicators. When they found microbial growth they promptly treated it. When the room adjacent to the flood had to have my belongings removed, they were very careful as they shifted my bookcases and glassware. Highly recommend then for your water restoration and mold issues.

Our washing machine had a moderate leak which leaked into our laundry room effecting our hardwood hallway, master bedroom and the ceilings in the floor below. While the damage was more moderate/minor all things considered, we wanted a professional to check things out and make sure we weren’t overlooking something. PuroClean was very responsive and JT came to our house the next day. He was very helpful in assessing the damage and was upfront that we could do most of the remediation ourselves, saving us significant time and money. Really appreciated the responsiveness and JT being upfront that we didn’t need to use their services. Hoping we won’t have another major water damage scenario, but if we did I would certainly turn to JT and the PuroClean team.

Lee Gunter & Ashley at PuroClean are the most kind, helpful, honest and caring service professionals I have had the pleasure to work with in Tacoma. They provided unbelievable support and assistance where other companies had not only failed, but made my mold issues worse. After months of fighting with ServPro of Tacoma to rectify their faulty workmanship that caused my mold problem, Lee came for an estimate and was able to remediate the issue the same day. He was extremely fair with pricing and along with Virgil Pelton of The Home Private I, whom they referred me to, quite literally saved me, my health and my home from ruin. I cannot recommend them enough. If you have any water or mold issues, CALL THEM FIRST and get it done right and well the first time.

Have you ever had a company come to look at a job and everything they did and said just made you know absolutely and without a doubt that their only interest was to solve your problem.
Sure they make their living doing what they do but their calling is to take your pain away first and foremost. We had a fire in a 40 foot shipping container used for storage. They have much experience with making homes habitable after a disaster but this one is all about the contents. Bob the owner explained that this is not what they usually do but he would not leave me out on a limb. If I could not find a suitable vendor he would get it done for me. Next he spent a half hour on the phone trying to find someone to get rid of the container. The world needs more people like this.

We had a small electrical fire that caused our entire house to be covered in thick, greasy black soot. We had just completed a rebuild and everything was new. We had custom wood cabinetry throughout the house and skim coated walls and ceilings. Jesse and his crew, Bob, Lawrence, Avon and JT, listened well, understood our concerns, and went above and beyond to protect and restore our home. Chaison and Mark were absolutely phenomenal. They went above and beyond with everything they did and they were extremely helpful with explaining what they did and why they had to do it. I wish I could have them as contractors for everything.

Jesse and his team (Alejandro, Carl, and Chaison) worked quickly and efficiently to clean up water damage in my living room, walls, and crawlspace. Not only with a very efficient, they also made sure to follow up with me and make sure that everything was okay afterwards.

They checked every nook and cranny and we're very thorough in their inspection, catching water damage that we didn't anticipate had happened. Their conscientious approach to dealing with our water-based disaster allowed us to reduce the amount of long-term damage.

Wow! What an impressive company! We had water damage due to a sewer backup...a super stressful event. JT and Lawrence basically swooped in (after a long day of work - it was 5pm!), spent 4 hours setting up fans and other drying equipment, removed carpet, etc and took care of everything. The owner even came by to review the work and next steps with us. They were as professional as any company we've worked with...and being in a hundred-year-old house, we've worked with a lot of them!

Puroclean was one of the referrals from my insurance company. I called them first on my list. Puroclean's JT arrived next day after calling in to remedy a category 3 water leak from toilet into bathroom and living room. JT professionally used his moisture detector to determine areas where water penetrated, removed base board molding to dry lower dry wall area, removed wet particle board and vinyl flooring and dried up area and verified no moisture days later. Highly recommended.

This team is without question the most remarkable professionals I could’ve imagined. I had 2 inches of water in four rooms in my garden floor and with expertise, calmness, and confidence they came in and immediately set up the equipment moved all the furniture so they could get full exposure to the damp areas installed dehumidifiers and multiple fans in key positions throughout the area to dry off rug, molding, bathroom counter and cupboards with wood, cedar siding in a guest bedroom, expensive rug And carpet pad. They check the water against all the criteria in the walls in the wood trim along the floor in the bathroom and laundry room cupboards. It was totally self-directed professional work. There was a calmness and smoothness almost like a ballet being done by three very confident strong men. I now have my full lower level back in shape as if I had nothing happened five days ago. I called for a bid. They were fast and responsive. Bob came out took a good look at my situation same day. He was honest and very knowledgeable. He gave me a straight forward and detailed game plan and a reasonable bid. He was able to get his crew in next day. Mark Parker and Chase Wilson came in and did a tremendous taking out the bad sheetrock and preserving the kitchen cabinets as well as drying out the area that was wet. I was thrilled they were able to take out my lower cabinets with a granite counter top in one piece for an easy replacement. This company is the only restoration company I trust and the first call I would make in the face of a disaster. I cant recommend them enough all the way around at every step. They made my nightmare as close to a dream as possible for having a bad leak. Look no further.

I thought the pool of water on my downstairs bathroom floor had come from a leak from the upstairs jetted tub. I called my insurance company to notify them that there might be a claim. My plumber came and agreed with my theory and made plans to send an estimate for expensive repairs. Then my insurance company sent Robert Jordan of PuroClean and he did a great job of actually exploring the possibilities and found a simple corroded downstairs sink drain leak. The 1924 sink was also badly corroded inside. What might have been thousands of dollars of multi-floor repairs and replacements turned into a simple sink replacement. Thanks for the diagnostics Rob!
