In April we were canvassed by an employee of Purelight Power, a solar panel company, wondering if we'd like to speak with someone about solar panels. He was very persuasive, so we said sure. Just a few days later--on April 2, we were contacted by Lowery Houston who is so personable and knowledgeable, running through the basics of solar power, how it works with NWEnergy and the state's policies and the impending tariffs, and what, if we were interested, the next steps would be ( engineers seeing if our yard trees would render the panels useless and, if not, how they would be placed, engineers checking if our roof was structurally sound enough); this was all free. Boxes were checked, and we decided to move ahead. Unlike other companies, Purelight partners with a finance company, financing easy. In no time at all, the installation was begun; helping with the coordination of installation and the permitting with the county and the NWE was Rusti Harrigfeld, who was so prompt, efficient, and friendly. A crew came and in half a day had the panels up and wired into the NWE meter and our house electrical panel. Today, May 21, we had a virtual meeting with Jonathon Tilson who with patience and humor walked these old luddites through turning the system on and setting up the app so we can monitor the system and see how many kw we are generating. In just six weeks we are up and running. Purelight Power is a company that runs like clockwork, thanks to its employees. If you're considering solar power, I'd contact them.

Purelight had been so great to work with from the initial consultation, working with our hectic schedules, and navigating the unpredictable Montana weather. Our final "turn on" call with Tanner was great - he did a thorough job explaining everything that we are to expect in the future, as well as the "what if" scenarios.

Zero stars. This whole solar experience has been a nightmare. Purelight under designed our system and admitted they never completed a pre work site check. We got stuck with power bills and a solar payment. We also had software problems for a year. Also when you sell your house the loan transfer process takes 1-2 months. It’s a joke from start to finish.

Pure Light install was great! Very professional and polite. The crews were exceptionally thorough and meet and all questions were answered clearly. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pure Light!

I do not know who left positive reviews for this company. I do not believe they are real. This entire experience has been a complete nightmare. They sold me a complete LIE! I was supposed to have solar lights in April for the same monthly cost as my solar loan. No timeline in sight. I have called and emailed repeatedly. It is August. I pay on a loan with 6% interest every month AND I pay my energy bill. I have literally no choice but to move forward with taking futher steps to try to get my money back AND I am in the middle of cancer treatment. Sick, exhausted and finacially extended. BEWARE!!!

Well-trained and friendly salespeople, installer and startup techs. They assisted me along the way working with electrical provider for a smooth transition to solar. System worked as designed.
