My son asked me to meet with George from Pro Shield Roofing “just to have things checked out.” I’m glad I did.
George went over everything in detail and documented all the damage with pictures. With my permission, he handled all communication with my insurance company, so I didn’t have to do a thing. When the adjuster came out, George met him on-site, pointed out damage, and even went into the attic to show where hail had beaten through the flashing around the chimney, causing a leak.
After their inspection, the adjuster said he needed to do some paperwork. About 45 minutes later, he handed my son a check on the spot so we could get started on repairs—something that rarely happens. The adjuster even said George’s knowledge was a deciding factor in approving the claim.
George ordered materials, which were delivered on June 14th. Due to weather delays, the crew started on June 16th. They worked long days in 90-degree heat, sometimes staying until dark, and even worked on the 4th of July to stay on schedule. The work they finished on my house and two garages was outstanding! , They cleaned up thoroughly afterward and used magnets to find any stray nails.
The “bonus” twist? My insurance company was just as impressed as I was. They said George’s professionalism and documentation made the claim process enjoyable—and because of the detailed records. Due to the type of impact resistance of the materials used, I ended up getting a 30% discount on my premium. Wow!

ProShield Roofing LLC - Schoolcraft Residence - Sullivan, Indiana Storm Damage Repair (May 2025)
On May 16, 2025, Sullivan, Indiana was struck by a severe storm that produced four-inch hail. The damage to our home was devastating — our roof (both house and garage), vinyl siding, gutters, downspouts, and wooden privacy fence all sustained major damage.
Within a day or so of the storm, we met with George, the owner of ProShield Roofing LLC. He promptly assessed the extent of the damage and, impressively, took immediate action to implement temporary fixes in areas at risk of leaking.
Following his inspection, George sat down with my wife and me to go over detailed pictures of the damage. He clearly explained how the repair process would proceed, including the next steps with our insurance company and what to expect during the adjuster’s inspection. His transparency and guidance were invaluable.
When the insurance adjuster arrived, George was right there with him. Together, they thoroughly documented the damage. Thanks to their cooperation, our claim was approved incredibly fast, and we received the payout directly into our account within 48 hours.
George had asked, in all fairness, that if his company was able to secure full insurance approval for the repairs, that we allow ProShield Roofing to complete the work. We were happy to agree — and it was the best decision we could have made.
