Promised Land Construction installed laminate type flooring for us. Jeff and crew were timely, efficient, knowledgeable and nice guys as well. We are pleased with the outcome. They also scheduled us in on short notice which we appreciate. We will use this company again if/when the need arises.

Buyer beware. Do not do business with these dishonest people.
He will deny that he did business with me, however, I have paperwork, pictures, contracts, and permits to prove we did business together.
This man is a liar and a con artist who does not fufill his contractual obligations. Google does not let me upload pictures to this review.

Promise Land Construction helped me out with unfortunate water damage issues. I moved some furniture & actually fell through my floor. I had used Promise Land Construction before so I called them for help. It was around the holidays so they came out and did a temporary fix to the floor and wall to get me through the holidays. They came back and found the issue, hole in my roof, and fixed all the damage which consisted of tearing out a section of my wall to the studs, replacing the siding, repairing the roof, sheet rocking, repairing the floor. The damage was way more extensive than originally thought but they fixed it all beautifully. Very nice and professional company. I would highly recommend Promise Land Construction and will not hesitate to use them again. In fact they will be coming back in April to put on a new roof for me.

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
