Nick, Jasmine and Angie are true professionals. There excellent work ethics, positive attitude, caring behavior and winning personality made this project more enjoyable.

They cleaned up everyday and I was informed on every step of the process.

Nick is extremely knowledgeable and explained everything in detail including priming of a wall that gets more sunlight and harsher rain due to winds.

My wife works from home and they went beyond to ensure she was not bothered as much as possible during this whole process.

Competitive prices too- they weren’t the cheapest, but were well below the highest- and for the quality of the work I’d say they are hands down the best value for the money. They did the main rooms of the house we just bought and the quality really shows- makes my house look outstanding! As we redo the remaining rooms over the next year, Capitol Painting is the only outfit I’m calling. If they are booked I will wait for a spot on their calendar - they are that good and worth the wait!

Capitol Painting Co. was a pleasure to work with. We had the exterior of our new home painted. Jesse is an open communicator who goes above and beyond to keep you informed. We had a big painting project that was beyond our ability. Capitol Painting was the answer for us. We had them paint the outside of our house three years ago and have been very happy with the results. So they were our first call this time around.
The project included two floors and hallways and a two story ceiling. The existing paint was 10 year old contractor light coatings and the walls and especially the ceiling needed multiple coats to cover and look right. Jesse and his very able team were up to the task.
They moved out the furniture to a POD box and back in when they were done.
They would be a sure bet if I come across the need again. Two thumbs up for sure.

The owner Jesse is as focused on customer satisfaction as is humanly possible, no exaggeration. Jesse came out to my home and covered every base imaginable when I requested a quote, far exceeding what I experienced with another very well-known painting contractor in my area, for example. My project included not only prep and painting, but siding repair as well. Other contractors were insisting that I had to replace much of my siding, yet the other contractors were wrong. Moreover, the job was completed at a very fair price. Capital Painting completed the project, and as far as it looks to me, just got another 20 years or so of life out of my siding and paint. Also, the crew, Joshua and Hunter dealt with my dozen on-site questions and concerns as helpfully as Jesse did. I detailed so much to them that it might have annoyed some contractors, and they were always friendly and happy to clarify every single concern I had. So, if you don't at least obtain a quote from Capitol Painting, you are doing yourself a disservice.

Extremely friendly and helpful. The house looks very good. There was a slight problem with overspray, and Jesse went above and beyond to make it right. The only downside was a delay from the original date, but those kinds of things are common especially when you are working with a weather dependant project.

There is not much I can say about Capitol Painting Company other than exceptionally great service! OUTSTANDING! Capitol Painting Company just finished painting the exterior of of my house; it's a 4533 square foot home. The crew, Frank and Hunter were very thorough, professional, polite and responsive to my concerns. Jesse, the owner, and the crew also replaced some wood panels on the house which needed to go. The crew pressure washed, caulking so thoroughly, then meticulously did the painting on the house. I have never seen a house got prepared like these anywhere prior painting. Not a single drop of paint on the ground or on the lower roof. The crew had to use a 40 foot ladder on the house on some areas. They got it done safely with ease. People in my neighborhood driving and walking by , all paused looking and complementing the crew Frank and Hunter. Jesse and company also did a great job for my next door neighbor. And they replicated that on my house. I didn't have any other estimates but Jesse's because I saw the work next door.
And the important thing is that my wife and daughter are completely satisfied with the final look.

Jesse and crew just finished painting our house. We were very happy with the job. They took their time to fully prep the house before they began painting. We have a three story house with a lot of carpenter work that needed to be done before the painting. I had new construction painted by another company. The interior paint was poorly done and required repainting of the ceiling and walls in many areas, as well as cleanup of the line between ceiling and walls, which were all uneven. The corrections were completed in about two and a half days. The end result was very, very well done. I appreciate the willingness of Capital Paint to come in and fix a previous company’s work. I would recommend Capital Paint and would use them again.

I would approach this company with caution. They came out, said they could to the job, and promised a bid the next day. It didn't come. I called several days later and they promised a bid soon. I waited a week and was told they did not have the equipment to do my painting.

I am a community manager who manages a portfolio of HOA and condo associations in several counties. I started corresponding with Jesse in the early spring regarding a painting project at a community called Vista Village in Lacey. The project would have consisted of painting 18 single story duplex units in the late summer of 2022. After soliciting four different bids, I sent over a signed contract to Jesse at Capitol Painting on 4-29-2022. Jesse then asked for the color choices and for a point of contact, all of which I provided. When I called Jesse on June 8th, he claimed to not have received my first email and that he did not receive the color choices, and oh, by the way, could we move the project to next year? NO, I thought early spring was plenty of time for him to set aside time on the calendar for this project which he estimated would take a month. I do understand that we had an exceptionally wet spring, so I was understanding that the project couldn't start until late August.

On June 14th, I forwarded the email again and confirmed in the email that he had committed to a date of August 22nd and gave him all the information he requested. I started the email "per our telephone conversation" and reiterated everything we discussed.

On August 16, in preparation for my board meeting, I called him once again to confirm that we are good to go for the start date of 8-22-2022. He claimed that he had "zero" communication from me since April and that that there was no way he'd be able to do the project this year, as he hadn't heard back from me to confirm.

I don't usually call people liars but I have concrete evidence that Jesse is either lying, delusional, or completely disorganized, as I have a solid email trail of communication between him and myself. I can only speculate that perhaps he underbid the project and then was trying to "play dumb" his way out of it.

He didn't offer anything to make this right and as far as I'm concerned, I won't consider doing business with him ever again. The flagrant attempt for him to pin this on me is outrageous and so unbelievable. The good news, I know to NEVER use this company. Someone who is this disorganized, forgetful, and dishonest is not someone I want to do business with - EVER!!!

You can't always count on the weather in Washington, but you can count on Jesse at Capitol Painting Company. His team is awesome and the whole experience from making initial contact, help with color selection, house prep and paint were always communicated when he'd be there and status of the project. Capitol Painting Company painted our home recently. I am so happy with how smoothly the process went, and how superb our home looks in its new coat of Sherwin Williams Emerald! Our home was not an easy paint...lots of nooks, angles, heights, a clay tile roof, repairs to rotten areas and multiple types of surfaces. Their work ethic was top notch, and every aspect of the job from the initial bid meeting to the final walk-around was done with the highest level of integrity. They are the BEST!

From the beginning, Jesse was professional and assured us that he uses high quality products. He answered questions and concerns honestly based off both his experience and manufacturer recommendations. When he needed to contact the paint supplier for more information he would do so and provide us with the updated information in a timely manner. This was the second time our house was painted. The first time was painted by the builder with a thin coat and apparently low quality paint. No comparison. Jesse promised a two coat, high quality prep and finish and he delivered.

I have been researching and in search of an interior painter. I reviewed a few companies around the area and Capitol Painting is the one that struck out to me the most.

I have to say Jesse was such a pleasure to work with. He was flexible, professional, and courteous. When I mean flexible, I mean I legitimately was wanting a certain date for my dining room and living room to be painted; and he delivered! There was miscommunication on my end, and he still somehow managed to fit me in into his busy schedule. I was impressed and extremely grateful.

Jesse was very professional and personable. He showed up on time, began work immediately, and updated us on the status and how he was going to approach painting on living spaces. From laying down protective barriers, to the taping of the trimming, his work was spectacular.

He was also extremely courteous; asking us where it was ok to walk, lay down tape, what can be covered. It felt like I had a friend come over and was painting our dining and living room. I even offered him lunch on me and he respectfully declined (HOW DARE HE! LOL).

Jesse and his crew at Capitol Painting were on time, on task, and detail oriented. Their work was excellent. We added some tasks as we went along (four rooms, about 1100 square feet, walls ceiling, trim) and they never broke stride. They got ahead of potential problems (trim issues) and communicated every step of the way. We have other upcoming projects and will probably call them without bidding the job out.

I decided fairly late in the season to have my house painted. I called several contractors. Jesse was the only person to return my call. He explained over the phone who he is, his painting experience, his business model, and his time limitations as the weather would shortly start turning.
Jesse came to my home a few weeks later to meet with my wife and I to discuss in detail what we wanted. He was very courteous, friendly, personable, and professional! He explained his process, the pros, and cons of different paints, and his time line. We felt very comfortable with him.
Between our meeting, and the date for starting Jesse was very communicative, in particular about the paint shortages plaguing our area. He kept us informed about alternate suppliers he may have to use, which he did but assured us that he would stand behind any work he does.
Jesse, and his crew showed up on the date he said they would. They were organized, quick about their business, and thorough! They ensured a full coverage, despite some difficult areas! I was impressed with the "cut lines!" They were very clean! Speaking of clean, Jesse, and his crew were very conscientious of our belongings, and picking up after themselves.
A couple of weeks after finishing, Jesse called to ensure we were happy with the job. He reassured me that he would make right any defects associated with their workmanship if needed. I did see a small area that is white on white which could only be noticed at a certain angle because of the sheen. Jesse came out the next day (I live about 25 miles from his business) to address the issue!
We are very happy with Capitol Painting Co. I would recommend them for any painting needs! What's more, my wife overheard the painter's banter. She really liked how Jesse was complimentary, and encouraging to his crew!

I called this Capital Painting earlier this summer to request a quote for the exterior of my home to be painted. I had to leave a message and no one from this company gave me a call back but I was contacted by another gentlemen named, Aaron with Enterprise Painting who advised when Capitol Painting has alot of projects going on he is given the name of potential clients to paint their homes. I received a quote from Aaron and believed it to be fair. We set up a day and time to begin the work and he kept putting it off. When he finally came out to start the pressure washing he told me he would be back out to finish the work but never did. He
Ended up cashing my deposit I paid to him since we had a contract and told me he would pay it back since he broke the contract. It has been a little over 2 weeks and I have still yet to be reimbursed the 500 dollers I paid after me reaching out several times asking for an update on payment. I tried calling Capital Painting to see if they can assist in any way possible but the calls go straight to voice-mail. Capitol Painting should reconsider using/recommending this person as an extension of their business. Now I am trying to find someone to finish the job while 8 months pregnant, as there is scraped off paint on my home.

Jesse the absolute best. His business and you can tell from his attention to detail. He told us about all the different paint types and choices. He did not try to over sale us. His crew was terrific. They wanted to do a great job for us. On time and ready to work. Great bunch. They cleaned up after so you will not have to worry about that. Our home was there home is how we felt. I highly recommend them.

Phenomenal! Jesse and his stellar crew pursue perfection with a vengeance. I hired them to paint my entire interior of a 2250 sf house with ten-foot ceilings, and they did the job in seven days. The snowstorm added a day. I called several companies based on Google reviews, and Jesse answered first and even came out on New Year's Eve to offer a proposal. I have never had an entire interior painted, and I am glad I hired professionals! They moved and protected all the furniture and wall hangings. The attention to detail was tight. Jesse and his crew did a wonderful job. Very meticulous in there prep work and interior painting.They were all very nice and willing to do go back and do in spots missed. Price very reasonable. Would recommend his services and use his company again if ever needed.

If your looking for a professional look no further. We couldn’t be happier with the work that Jesse an Rob done. They tackled a huge project and had to fight the crazy windy days that had other plans by ripping down plastic as they were putting it up. They didn’t let it slow them down. No obstacle too big. We are very pleased with Jesse’s quality, professional work! He is courteous, respectful, dependable, professional and responds to email/phone/text in a timely matter.
He came out a few days ago to do a couple estimates for our fence project and gutter repair. We decided to put the fence project on hold for now and just do the gutter repair. Due to the pandemic, many painters, landscapers and contractors’ work are all back-up for at least 2 months. So they are very busy with big projects, and have no time for small project like gutter repair. And yet Jesse showed up this morning to get the gutter fixed and with NO charge!! He said it was a minor job and he just wanted to bless us! THANK YOU, Jesse! We plan to hire him for our future projects! He has earned our trust! Jennifer/Paul

Jesse did excellent work when painting our ceiling and explained each phase of the work that he was doing. Great job.

Jesse and his crew did an amazing job on our house! My husband is very, very picky and said that Jesse is the best contractor we have ever hired period. Jesse and crew worked very hard to strip our cedar house. He waited until it was fully dry measuring it with a moisture monitor, then back brushed and sprayed the first coat, and then sprayed the stain a second time. Then he nearly painted the whole house a third coat while touching it up. He also did a wonderful job painting our aluminum windows. I disagree with the other reviewer about his eye for detail. Our house looks like furniture because he took his time to literally make it shine. None of these photos have filters. The last two photos are the "before"; one shows the stripping on the front porch. We will use Jesse in future projects for sure.

Despite 4 stars, I would not recommend if you have a detailed eye/are particular. Hired Jesse for interior work. Just closed on the house; no furniture in it since I wanted to move into a newly painted home (though I was still, too, in the process of moving). Needed both millwork and painting due to 1) various poorly done wall repairs and paintwork (esp. on a wall I deem the "trouble wall" here) and 2) "bubbles" in the wall & ceiling from nails coming out of the sheetrock--a thing of newer construction.

Jesse was my last estimate of 4. He gave a good price, a 100% satisfaction promise, & a shorter project deadline than a contractor I was considering. He didn't seem worried about the price he quoted & seemed to indicate he had a good eye for seeing blemishes. I put my trust in him, esp. since he was the only FT pro painter among my estimates (the rest were general contractors). He was also willing to use a paint that I chose--a premium paint of better quality than the already quality contractor-grade paint he typically uses. While he wasn't as familiar w/my paint of choice, he said he would happily use it.

Day 2 of the project, I noticed a glaring blemish on the ceiling, covering probably a 2x2 area. I thought perhaps the paint just needed to dry. Day 3, I look and see it has not changed. I point it out to Jesse; he looks where I indicate & says that he definitely notices it. He felt bad & thought about a course of action. He said since the ceiling would require an entire re-paint to fix that area, he would have to charge me again for it (over $1000!). However, he also gave an alternative that he said would mostly fix the problem, but at no extra cost.

Day 4, I check the ceiling; looked better, but still noticeable to me. I looked around & noticed various areas that needed touchups (per paperwork, he's supposed to do daily touchup checks). He also missed a number of spots that needed millwork, including, as I looked, some on the ceiling that I had explicitly pointed out to him to fix before the project started. While he did beautifully on my "trouble wall", I paid him to handle the whole house.

Jesse could clearly see I was not happy. He tried to remedy the situation by giving a speech on how he likes the challenge of working for homeowners. He also said he wanted to get paid that day.

While I did the risky action of paying him, I did it out of conceding that he worked hard and he did honor coming back 2 more times to do touchups. On the last comeback, I pointed out that he got paint on my outlets (along w/missing some more spots that needed paint). He said paint on outlets is going to happen while painting. However, paint got on most of the outlets. That indicates to me poor prep work. He didn't clean them all the way either.

Now, as I go through addressing non-paint issues in a room of the house, I notice that he (or a crew member) didn't remove a wallshelf that easily snaps off. They also didn't unplug my dryer cable. Both have licks of paint on them.

If you hire Jesse (or anyone), I recommend checking in throughout the project, morning, mid-day, night (before he leaves)--I could only do mornings. Do a thorough walk-through, w/a light; you are indoors, afterall. Point out things ASAP, even if they seem silly/small/lacking paint knowledge. I know he would have fixed & fully repainted the ceiling if I had pointed it out to him day 2 (when he still had his sprayer on-site & tape-paper up). Can't speak for the other unsatisfactory work, even while present (e.g. outlets) & to include bitty paint spots/mud on things (inadequate/no prep--from doing touchups?).

Alternatively, try the guy I didn't, but who noticed blemishes & pops before I even mentioned them, along w/ones I initially missed: Residential Construction Svcs LLC. He would have used the assistance of a light throughout the project, plus had regular practice w/the paint I chose.

OR ask (in-store) your local trusted paint store for a recommended painter and/or (if app.) millworker for your needs. Don't stray. And still do your estimates (i.e. interviews).

First rate job fixing and repainting the whole interior of my 2,040 sq ft home with the best color match I've seen!

Jesse and his crew did a beautiful job of painting the exterior of my house, as I expected with his many years of experience. They pressure washed, caulked and painted then did complete cleanup. I have many flowering plants that they were very careful of and worked around. Great attention to detail, no over-spray and no spray patterns, just smooth and even. We did a careful walk-around inspection upon completion and the couple of touch-up items were immediately accomplished. I highly recommend Capitol Painting.

We could not be more happy with our decision to hire Jesse to paint our Restaurant building (Pellegrino’s Italian Kitchen ) he totally exceeded our expectations during the entire process. From the bid process, prep work on the building, then the final paint job. Which turned out perfect !! Since this is a restaurant he needed to work around opening hours and customers and did that seamlessly. His attention to detail and commitment to the job is incredible. We plan to have him paint the other 2 buildings on the property next year and would encourage you to hire him for your painting needs.

My wife and I have been trying to have our living room painted for more than a year. Currently my wife is deployed. I wanted to finally have it done so we could start turning our house into a home upon her return.

I was going to try and paint our home my self. My 69 year old body started with our one story shop and it beat me up. Because it was late in the season we weren't sure if we could find anyone with time left in the season to paint out doors. Jesse from Capital Painting Company came out to give us a bid and was great. Easy to talk to, wanted to hear my ideas and is very detailed. We set a date and on that Monday morning he and his crew showed up at 9AM and every morning after that, on time and ready to work. They crawled all over this house, pressure washing and caulking. When it came time to paint, again very detailed with no over spray or trashing shrubbery. When they were finished with the project we did a walk around, they cleaned up and it was done. Jesse is easy to communicate with and responds very quickly. His crew are equally easy to talk to.
