Kerby was great, fast and friendly service. Was able to diagnose and fix the issue with my AC in a matter of a few hours.

Kirby found two issues that need to be resolved at my home. Both my air conditioners needed new capacitors.

I called my home warranty company who placed an order for Protech to come back to my home to replace both capacitors.

Protech called me the first day that they received the order and made an appointment for the following day.

I cannot express how much I appreciate Pro Tech HVAC and their staff for making appointments as soon as possible.

In previous encounters with other HVAC companies, I have found myself waiting 2 to 3 weeks for an appointment that they did not keep.

I am thankful for Protech in their team to be able to handle issues as expeditiously as possible.

I have been using ProTech HVAC for about two- three years. Usually, I am in contact will Carlos. He's been very informative, professional and very patient. He goes the next 10 miles to help. I am not sure he knows the words, I can't get it done. That feels nice when you need work done.

Recently, I have been in communication with Carolina, and Kirby. Both have been very courteous and will do what they can to get the job done. Again, reliable. I have chosen this company over hundreds of others for a reason. I was skeptical at first, but ProTech always comes through.

Please understand I do not know any of these people personally as family or friends, but their customer service is outstanding! I recommend this company.

Had a great experience with Carlos and his company. Came right on time. Prices cannot be beaten. I was able to get 2 dampers replaced for less than the price of 1 at other places.

My warranty set me up with this company to look at my AC, the company called me and told me my home was too tall for them to service and to tell my warranty they couldn’t do it so I did and my warranty company set me up with someone new, but for some reason Pro-tech still showed up and since they showed up before the new company, my warranty said to have them service it. But they of course didn’t have a ladder and said they would go get one and come back. They didn’t come back, they rescheduled my appointment for the next day without even calling me to ask if that was okay, and then after I spoke with the technician and confirmed he would be the same one to come back the next day (I had talked to him about whether he was okay with my dog who I had paid to put in daycare the day they “went to go get a ladder and come back” and he said that he was fine with the dog and that he’d make sure he was the one who came back the next day, since I can’t afford to pay to put my dog in daycare AGAIN after just essentially wasting the time and money to put him in daycare in the first place since they didn’t even do the service) just for them to randomly assign me a new person a couple hours before the new appt.

Great experience! After the first company we called failed to bring a tall enough ladder to reach our roof unit, ProTech had someone out to us (with the correct ladder) within an hour. Steve was friendly, explained everything thoroughly, and was highly professional. Will definitely use them again!

Very disappointed! This is is the company you want if you want a cheap price, scratch and dent system installed and less than perfect install. Carlos and his guys came out and installed a new inside air handler unit with smashed fins. Tried to convince me that a new system comes with damaged evap coils from the manufacturer. If a unit gets damaged in shipping or for any reason, it ends up being sold as a scratch and dent system. The problem is, Carlos isnt forthcoming about what he is doing. Most people assume a new product has no damage. Before he installed the air handler, I brought up the issue of the damage and Carlos attempted to gaslight me. Carlos you lack integrity and are extremely unethical. He then installs an air return grille over my baseboard so I have gaps that allow lint, dust and debris to get past the filter and into the evaporator coils. He also did not clean up the space behind the air filter after a retrofit, turned on the AC and now I have to pay to have someone come out and clean the evaporator fins on a brand new damaged system. He also assured me I would be able to cover the air handler with a door. They started construction, ran into an issue which wasnt anticipated when he first took measurements and now I am left to figure out how I'm supposed to cover pipes that extend past the wall. He didnt check with me to see how I wanted to handle it, he just made the decision. ⁷⁷⁷ If anyone knows how a floating door attached to thin air can be installed, please let me know. These are just the problems I know of.... Stay away from HVAC companies that do work for home warranty companies! They don't have the experience or the reputation to get work and must lean on a home warranty company to keep their business afloat. They purposely will do a subpar install to guarantee your system will breakdown which ensures they will have work in the future. This is great for ProTech and for the home warranty company but as usual the consumer gets screwed!
Thanks to Carlos, my evaporator coils will probably fail and the manufacturer wont honor the warranty because dirt and debris will have caused the failure and that isn't the manufacturers problem. When that happens I definately won't be calling Carlos out for the repairs. I am having the system and the work he did inspected and will update this review if anything else is discoverd

I had a great experience with Pro tech HVAC. They scheduled the repair within a reasonable time frame. Showed up on time, diagnosed and fixed the issue right away. Carlos was great and very knowledgeable and explained everything so I understood. Highly recommended!!

Carlos and his team are phenomenal! After our home warranty service dropped the ball, Carlos took ownership of the issue at hand to ensure that I was a pleased customer. He had a brand new AC unit installed in under 4 hours! Hands down, the best HVAC company in the west valley! Thank you Carlos!

Truly happy with the service and unit replacement provided by Carlos and his team. He was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Buying a new AC unit is rough as it’s a large purchase. Carlos was patient and kind and educated me on the unit that would best fit my home without trying overselling. Carlos was transparent through the whole process and not only matched a unit to my home but also a unit that didn’t break the bank. I would definitely recommend him for service calls and unit replacements.

The Pro Tech technicians were amazing! Carlos, Tom, and Manuel did such an efficient job installing our new air conditioner. Carlos explained everything of what would be done. He went out of his way to come to our house the evening before installation to ensure we had heat by temporarily added free on. We took advantage of the promotion he offered, and we were able to get our new air conditioner installed the very next day after speaking to him. Excellent product and warranty and 1 year of free labor! Don't hesitate to hire this company!

All in all a good experience.... Pro Tech HVAC was the company selected by our home warranty company (First American Home Warranty). Carlos contacted us right away to schedule the initial appointment. The Technician, Thomas Campbell, called when he was on the way.. and showed up when he said he would. He was very thorough in his assessment of the problem (no heat) even going under the house to see if the ducting was connected and intact. We ESPECIALLY appreciate that after First American Home Warranty ordered the wrong replacement coil for our heat pump (the correct model and serial numbers and system info were provided by Pro Tech) Thomas refused to install it... because it would cause major problems in the future.
The correct coil was ordered from Trane, Thomas verified the measurements and model specs before picking it up and installing it. Carlos also verified the correct part was in stock, locally and provided all of the system specifications to First American and spent considerable time on the phone with them and me in order to get the correct part and facilitate a speedy repair. We did consider replacing the entire system, at Carlos' suggestion, but could not manage the cost at this time.... plus our unit is old but has a higher SEER rating that the unit quoted for the replacement, justifying the $1200 cost to us (things not covered by FAHA) Replacing our HVAC will need to happen some time in the future and we will definitely be calling Pro Tech when that time comes.

Carlos and Tom were excellent. My unit broke down on one of the coldest days in Arizona. They came out same day and installed new unit. Both were very knowledgeable and professional. I am very pleased with their customer service. Will definitely use them for any future heating and air needs.

I was introduced to Pro Tech from my home warranty company. That experience was great. They were prompt and did a great job.

We discussed issues with the dust in our home and Carlos provided us with a whole house air cleaning solution. The quote was very reasonable for 2 Trane units, duct cleaning and sealing. Carlos, Tom and Edgar were here on time and were very careful with preparing the workspace and cleaned everything when done. They were professional and I appreciated their attention to detail while working.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience and will continue to use Pro Tech for our HVAC needs in the future.

Former customer of AirNow who got left in the lurch with an unusable warranty after the owners retired and sold the company without requiring the purchasing company to honor the labor warranty. Carlos was a breath of fresh air, quickly diagnosing and repairing my unit as well as handling the parts warranty exchange quickly and efficiently.

Carlos was unprofessional and canceled the job because he was avoiding “confrontation”. He developed this idea because I asked questions about the job and process. There was misunderstandings from some of his responses the day prior that I wanted clarification on. I asked him why he was getting upset if I was trying to understand and he again said he was avoiding confrontation. I told Carlos he was handling our situation very unprofessionally and he responded that I was unprofessional for asking questions and there were several other vendors that can help me. He proceeded to take off with an incomplete job.

The gentleman that worked on my unit was named carlos I recommend him highly very friendly, very pleasant and was very efficient so far the unit is working gorgeous and I recommend them highly I did not

From start to finish my tech Carlos was amazing!i If you’re looking for a professional HVAC technician don’t look anywhere else in fact book this or bookmark this business because the company is not only amazing but honest and quick showing up, And won’t sell you anything that you do not need. I called the other companies and they were nothing but horrible customer service. And just wanted to charge the customer without even showing up. This is the best company and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Take my word for it nothing, but professional on time, and Carlos knew exactly what was wrong with my AC!

This company is amazing! My husband called because he was out of town and I was home with the kids and our A/c broke and within 3 hours Carlos came and was able to fix it within 15 minutes. I am so very thankful for this company

I called 2-10 warranty and they assigned me someone who couldn't come for a week to even look at it!
I asked for the names of their other contractors in my area and one was PRO TECH HVAC. I called Carlos when it was 116 outside and 100.3 in my kitchen and he was here in 10 minutes to check out my 25 year old AC put in by the builder. This was a Thursday near 5 pm already. Someone less caring would have put me off. It needed a new outside fan motor and capacitor, but unfortunately the coils were also leaking freon both outside and in the attic. On his day off he put in some freon to hold me over temporarily. Time for a new system. Carlos sat down with me and explained what I needed based on the 3 1/2 ton system already installed. He even gave me 20 percent off his best deal. My attic is loaded with boxes because I come from Michigan where I had a basement. My attic and garage are my new basement. He brought another guy with him and emptied the attic themselves to be able to pull out the old system and exchange it with a new system a bit bigger. No extra charge and a recycling truck came the same day to take away all the old parts and cardboard. He also installed a new wifi thermostat. When they finished, they put all the boxes back up. They had to make the entry hole into the attic from inside the garage a bit bigger to get it in. They are sending me a drywall guy to fix that also, no extra charge. They worked right with me every step of the way, in the horrible heat putting in both new units. He showed me how my new thermostat works and patiently answered all my questions each day till the work was complete on Monday morning after arriving at 6 am. I recommend Carlos and Armando for any HVAC issues you may have. Helpful, patient, fair and friendly during all contact. This is the type of business you want for yourself or someone you love.

Call at 5:30 in the morning. Carlos actually answered and by 10:30 my AC is back running and cooling.

My AC went out Saturday night, so Sunday morning, I called around to about 13 different companies, and none would come out on a Sunday. I got ahold of Pro Tech, and Carlos came out right away. Diagnosed the problem, explained it to me, and gave me a very fair price and fixed it right away and had my AC back working again.

I definitely recommend using Pro Tech.

My AC went out at 8:00 p.m., I contacted them at about 9:00 p.m. they were here about 9:30 p.m. And fixed by 10:00 p.m. got everything done for 160. Honestly one hell of a company.

Excellent and fast service. Carlos showed up and took care of us in no time. He even answered some questions outside of what he came to do with easy to understand explanations and different things he could try to do to care of us.

Leaving this on behalf of my in-laws. These guys showed up at 930pm on fathers day after only calling 40min prior. He diagnosed the issue within minutes and with a bit of back and forth, had a crew out doing a whole system replacement that was done before 10am the following morning. Prompt service, extremely reasonable pricing and excellent service. Save yourself the hassle messing around with the big providers like Goettl or Robert's. Save yourself money and headaches by going with a small company that wants to earn your business, where you'll be treated like a person and not a number. Can't say one negative thing about the entire experience.

Cannot say thank you enough to Pro Tech HVAC. Had an AC unit that stopped cooling, called them for help and they were here the same day, identified and fixed the issue, and most importantly….has our house cooling down again. Carlos and David were great. Very personable and professional. They did our bi-annual maintenance on our two AC units for the summer. They were thorough and gave good feedback on needed coil cleaning.

The company was great. Carlos was amazing. Showed up on time, was punctual, professional, and really listened to us. He kept us informed the entire time he worked. Diagnosed the issue really fast and knew exactly what he needed to get it done. Knocked out all the work in a very short time frame and made sure the system was working properly before even thinking about heading out. Business tech is on point, but the star was Carlos. Put on a mask and booties before he even looked at my door. Was super professional, turns out it was just a bad thermostat, he replaced under home warranty, and even advised I could get a cheap Google nest from aps, and keep this new one as a backup. He told me the blue wire which wasn't connected, would be the power I needed for the nest. Excellent customer service.

They fixed my issue in one visit and was very professional. Only negative thing I have to say say is that they missed the time window I was given. To be fair, they hit the original time window I was given but, I would have rescheduled if the would have indicated they couldn’t hit the shortened window I insisted on.

Tom stayed a very long time trying fix my thermostat which I should not have installed myself. He worked way beyond what he was assigned to do. I thought it was a simple fix. I will never install another thermostat like that crummy one. Thanks Tom you did great.

I contacted Carlos to come and perform a pre-summer check/maintenance on the two ac units I have on my house. A couple of days after scheduling my appointment, Carlos and his co-worker showed up. They performed a thorough check/service on both ac units that are outside and checked the unit in the attic. One outside unit checked out ok but they found a small freon leak on the other. They fixed it and made sure it was running as it should be. Before leaving, they replaced the ac filters. As usual, great customer service. Carlos and his co-workers go out of their way to perform a great job! I highly recommend him for any ac issue you might. Can't beat his type of customer service!

Ok so at first I have no complains about this company they did a really go job putting in a new ac unit but yesterday my ac went out called no answer at first they came late that night the motor doesn’t work I’ve been calling them all morning to see what’s going to happen no answer so now I have to call someone else to come and do the job and a lot I don’t have when I should have labor and warranty with this company
