Aldo, Cris, and the entire team did a phenomenal job on my backyard. What’s once a dirt lot is now a nice backyard to host my friends and family. The putting green is amazing and can’t wait to get some practice in with my golfing buddies. Should I ever do further additions to my backyard, I’ll definitely use Luminous again.

These people are dishonest and do not deserve to stay in operation!...I am a retired disabled woman veteran that has been egregious taken advantage of as a new homeowner. April and Aldo are intentionally deceptive and liars. April and Aldo made promises and intentions of completing my backyard and Solar together as a bundle. They have scammed for 100,000 dollars! They have installed a system only worth 20,000 and have then disappeared and refused to complete my backyard and give a cost breakdown... I have been trying to contact them in regards to demand taking these panels off my home and refund the Solar loan.... I have been dealing with this financial crisis since Dec 2024. I am now turning to take legal action against Luminous Builders LLC & Luminous Energy LLC. I Also plan on going to the news about this company. The address they are using is a physical location but they do not have ownership of this place and therefore also will be looked into!

PLEASE READ THEIR BBB reviews andGoogle! Do not work with them! I have reached out the the AZ attorney General office in which they are also unresponsive to them. These people have scammed numerous others and they need to be held accountable. If they say this is a post from a competitor THEY ARE LYING!

Aldo was very helpful with getting my project completed. He was communicative and made sure my project got done to my expectations.

Working with Aldo and the team from Luminous has been a pleasure and a HUGE stress relief. We wanted a company that was open, understanding, and up to the task of doing a complete remodel in a matter of weeks. Aldo and the crew were ready for the challenge.

We initially had hired a contractor, contracts were signed, down-payment made, and dates set for start/completion. Unfortunately, as the agreed start date came and went, construction didn't happen. Multiple attempts were made to contact that contractor with no success. We were really in a time crunch, losing valuable remodeling time and meeting our goal opening date.

When we meet with Aldo and his crew, we explained everything. The issues with previous contactor, our vision, and timeline. They were understanding of our situation and didn't hesitate to take on this "crazy" job. From our initial meeting to the first swing of the sledge hammer, it was a matter of days! They listened to our ideas and are honest if it'll work or offer up an alternative way to make our idea a reality. We are extremely excited to see the final reveal in a few weeks.

Thank you Aldo and Luminous for taking this huge task on for us. You will never truly understand how much we greatly appreciate you all. A great deal of stress has been taken off our plate.

Very professional and completely honest. I have yet had an issue with all the different types of services they provide.

If I could give less than a one star review I would! Stay far away from this company. They are a complete scam. Your solar project will not be built correct and your landscape project will never get done. I am waiting a year later for my project to be completed and they will not communicate you in any way. I have no ETA on completion date. Check their ROC license. They have 14 open cases and they will drag it out as much as they can. They are only a third party sales company. They are scamming the companies they are working with out of their money. They have several open court cases. Do your research beforehand because I sure didn’t. All these “5 star reviews” are all fraud. They are making their own reviews out of their own employees.

Edit: I was provided paperwork from the solar company who received a copy of the work to be completed, turns out luminous was trying to deceive and take advantage of us. They had the paperwork showing what we bought the entire time (which is exactly what we had been asking for) and yet still tried to short us on the product they knew was already paid for.

Update: If you have not signed a contract, RUN THE OTHER way and never look back. I say this as someone who has spoken to MULTIPLE representatives of the company AS WELL as the owner, and my landscaping is incomplete with no signs of completion in the near future.

It is starting to feel like my family is being personally discriminated against by the company for making the original review and refusing to take it down after being asked to, despite them not resolving my issue. They’ve mentioned the bad review - more than once - during this mess I’m in and they seem to be more concerned about being outted for the horrible business they are rather than fixing their mistake and delivering on their promises.

Another customer has reached out to me from seeing my review who is going through almost EXACTLY the same situation as I am (delayed service date, making excuses of long queue of others ahead of them). And yet, upon further speaking with them, I found out that she was given options that weren’t even offered to us when a representative finally came to our home for a design meeting. We were given options for 1 turf, 4 rocks, and 3 pavers. They were given 2 turf choice and 6 rocks along with their pavers.

Not receiving the full amount of choices to choose from for our custom landscaping project feels like retaliation for not taking down the review.

To top it off, the tier package and sizes that we were sold with our original sales rep, who is no longer with the company, are not being honored. The biggest uphill battle with this company is that they have done nothing to help provide documentation on what they offer, so this entire struggle has been a ‘he said, she said’ and they refuse to believe anything I say. The design rep that was sent to our home couldn’t/refused to pull up any literature or written pamphlets to show us what the company supposedly offers.

Edit 2: still no resolution nor contact. I am currently in an open ROC case along with multiple others. If you haven’t already run ‍♀️

Edit: my family was told Monday 12/4 by Cris the landscaping manager. The company is only offering us150 sq ft of pavers, 150 sq ft of Turf and rock (an undisclosed amount). When asked who I can speak to have this issue resolved as that amount isn’t what we ordered. He informed us that even though we may feel “entitled ” to more product we are not being given anymore and there is no one we can speak with. I reached out to the solar company for assistance, I was provided paperwork from them, as they received a copy of the work to be completed. Luminous was trying to deceive and take advantage of us. They had the paperwork showing what we bought the entire time (which is exactly what we had been asking for) and yet the company still tried to short us on the product they knew we already paid for.

Look past the fake reviews posted by the owner and others employees who work here. Please save yourself the headache and go with an honest company.

I would recommend that NO ONE does business with this company. This business has shown a lot of unprofessional behavior & negligence, with exceptionally poor customer service. I started a contract with a representative of this company because they offer both solar and landscaping in one. I started this process with my salesperson Jen. This deal was sealed upon the fact that she provided us with an additional 10 x 10 of pavers, free of charge, and that the work would be completed prior to November 11th my sons 2nd birthday party. The agreement was that the solar would be installed and completed and we would have the backyard completed within a week or two of solar installation. My solar was scheduled on 9/14/23 and installed on 9/26/23. However, just to follow up, I reached out to my salesperson Jen at the end of August and it was confirmed, yet again, that my backyard would be completed by November 11th. Fast forward to the end of September and I am trying to confirm with my salesperson when I will be contacted for landscaping. I was not getting any response from them. Out of the blue I received a return call from Cris, who claims to be in charge of all landscaping. He apologized for the issues, advised that Jen was no longer with the company, and scheduled that the team will come out October 30th for survey and the yard will be completed by 11/6/23. October 30th rolls around and they were a no call no show. I call them on the 31st and they apologize and advise that Cris will give me a callback. November 1st no one has called, I call and speak to Marianna again, she apologizes and advises that someone will give us a callback. They give us a callback on the 2nd and advise they are waiting for the owner to provide them a follow up email but we are 6th in line. How did we go from Survey on Oct 30th to 6th in line? I ask for the management information for follow up and it is refused. Luminous advised that they will give us a callback on the 3rd with an update. November 3rd, we get a TEXT at 6:30pm, not a phone call as they continue to promise, but a text. They text my husband to say that after speaking with the management team they will not be coming out until 12/20-12/23 and we are 6th in line. They participate in fraudulent and deceptive business practices. I would not have done any business with this company if they were upfront and honest about not being able to reach my target date. I will be filing a complaint with the AAG regarding this matter as well. It's one thing to advise me at the beginning or at least a month ahead of time that you couldn't finish the project. However, to let the date of service pass, with a no call no show, and no effort to come and make up for it. That is completely unprofessional and horrible business practice. I will continue to call, email, and review until a member of the management team or the owner reaches out and we construct a game plan to get my yard done ASAP. December 20th-23rd is absolutely unacceptable.
