I have nothing but good things to say about my experience using Pro Spex for our home inspection. We are first time home buyers, so we didn’t really know what to expect, but I left feeling like I knew the house and what to look for and plan for going forward. I chose this company because Robin followed up with me when I didn’t complete the scheduling process after seeing that they didn’t have availability that would work for our schedule. Not only did Robin manage to find someone who could do it, but she answered so many questions that I had and really made me feel like we would be in good hands if we went with this company. Robin was the reason we ended up going with them instead of another company, and I am SO GLAD we ended up with Pro Spex because Robert Martin, our inspector, was amazing! He took the time to explain things to us, went out of his way to show us where things were and how things impacted each other. I felt like he was inspecting his own home! His process was methodical, organized, and detail-oriented. He knew SO MUCH; I was so grateful that he shared his knowledge with us through the whole process. I don’t have anything to compare to, but I know that I left that inspection feeling informed, confident, and more knowledgeable about our (prospective) home’s maintenance and quirks.

Our home inspector, Glen, did an excellent and very thorough job. He clearly and concisely explained any issues he discovered with the property. He discussed the severity, potential consequences and mitigation possibilities with each. We were very happy with the service provided and would whole-heartedly recommended.

The entire process was smooth and professional from start to finish. Scheduling the inspection was straightforward, thanks to the excellent communication and coordination by the Customer Relations Manager, Robin. She is wonderful. On the day of the inspection, the inspector, Robert, was punctual, knowledgeable, and very thorough. That was evident in the report. As a home buyer knows nothing about inspection, we are really happy we went with Pro Spex.

It was such a relief working with ProSpex for the inspection of our first home! As a first-time buyers, the whole process felt a little overwhelming, but Rob was incredibly patient and thorough. Disappointing experience with Pro Spex. The inspector, Heriberto Interiano, was unprofessional and lacked attention to detail. During the inspection, he would turn on appliances and systems, but wouldn't bother to check if they were actually working properly. For example, he turned on the washer and dryer, but didn't verify if they were functioning correctly. This lack of thoroughness is unacceptable and makes me question the validity of the entire inspection. The inspector failed to identify several issues that I later discovered on my own. I'm extremely dissatisfied with the service provided by Pro Spex and would not recommend them to anyone.

Robert was outstanding. He did a fantastic job during our pre-drywal and final inspections. His reports were very detailed and he also took time go over findings and our questions.

This was for a single family house purchase. Inspector was thorough, explained everything he found while I was there on site and included everything in the report as well. He also made some suggestions on how I could do some of the repairs myself for just a few dollars (like buying foam insulation to cover outdoor portion of coolant line).

The reason I took off a star is due to the lack of communication about tardiness to the appointment. Fifteen minutes after the scheduled appointment time, the inspector hadn't shown up yet and I had no email, text, phone call from Pro-Spex or the inspector about any expected delays. It took me calling Pro-Spex twice to finally get an update 30 minutes after the scheduled appointment time only to be told the inspector was another 30 minutes behind. So in all, he showed up an hour late, and if I hadn't called nobody would have ever told me this. There were multiple parties involved in this appointment so as you can imagine it was not great to have to make this many people wait with no heads up about the delay.

As far as I can tell, the work they do is fine. Communication needs to be better though on day of the appointment.

The professionalism and dedication behind the personnel of pro-Spex is unbelievable. They carefully followed a systematic approach towards analyzing the home to ensure there are no faults. If they find anything they provide detailed solutions to where it was located and how it can be mitigated. I’m glad I went through the inspection process with them and recommended them to anyone buying a home for the first time. The technician Robert was beyond reproach in his experience and candor as they conducted my home inspection.

I have been using Pro Spex Since I bought my first house in 2002. Glen The CEO is an amazing person who is knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. He takes his business seriously and make sure he looks out for his customers.

Eddie was great! He took his time and his report included pictures and a detail summary of each section of the home. I would use their service again.

I had a great experience working with Pro Spex. The company and the inspector, Robert, were very professional. I had a tricky situation with a squatter that prevented a timely home inspection. They were very patient and understanding and waited for the situation to be resolved. I was not charged anything extra for the inspector to come back out and the inspection and report were done really well. The home was sold as is so I was able to purchase it knowing that I had a clear understanding of what needed to be repaired and how quickly.

Two stars. I had used their services for years and was happy with the quality of work. However, I hired them again recently and was disappointed with the work they performed. The report lacked the observations they mentioned during the inspection so I had to follow up a few times to get the report corrected. I am not sure if I want to hire them again.

Eric French did a wonderful job inspecting the property for mold. He was very nice, professional, and clearly super competent. After an extensive search, Pro Spex was able to perform an excellent indoor air quality test at a very reasonable price.

Joe was congenial and incredibly detailed in his home inspection. I appreciated his thoughtful approach and transparency in communication. I would definitely recommend him and the company!

Glen was a very good inspector. He inspected very thoroughly and showed me through Face Time of what all was going on and very thoroughly explained what issues there were and the effects of them. For someone who is purchasing a home 1400 miles away, I feel much more comfortable with what I’m about to purchase.

We were working with a short deadline for a home inspection. We tried to schedule on-line, but the earliest data available was outside of our window. I called and Robin was able to get an inspection scheduled within our timeframe. Robin was a pleasure to work with and completely understood our situation. Cudos to Robin!!!

The day of the inspection, our inspector (Glenford) reached out and was able to get to the inspection a littile earlier than scheduled. This worked great for us. He arrived and did a THOROUGH, top to bottom inspection of the property on the exterior and then a THOROUGH inspection of the property from the bottom to the top in the interior. He was very professional and extremely pleasant, and took the time to explain things to me during the inspection as he found issues or confirmed that things were operating correctly or in order. I could not have been more impressed or happier with the inspection. It was soooooo worth every penny we spent on the inspection and I cannot thank Pro Spex enough for first accommodating our situation and second for performing such a thorough and professional inspection. We received our report the very next morning!!!!!

Pro Spex was recommended to me by a colleague who praised their customer service and thoroughness, so I decided to engage them do our pre-drywall inspection of our new build.

Responsive. Punctual. Thorough. That's how'd I'd describe Pro Spex in three words. That is hard to find in this world now adays.

Even when buying a new home, you need to do the inspections! One of the items on my report could have become very costly to me later down the line. Because I had the inspection, we were able to bring it to the builder's attention so that it could be fixed before moving forward. I am so thankful I decided to have the inspection. The cost for the inspection is a small price to pay to have a trained eye, independent of the builder, inspect the largest investment of my life.

Service is so complete with no stone left unturned. I was pleasantly suprisesd with the detail and completeness of service and I will always use this service from now on. I wish I had them recommended to me years ago.

My Pro Spex inspection was with Eric F. Eric was personable, arrived early, and was very thorough during the inspection. It was evident that he was knowledgeable and truly had a passion for sharing the information. I asked a ton of questions and he happily answered each of them and further described why the things he was pointing out could become an issue. He also pointed out things that were not of major concern (e.g. cosmetic issues) which was helpful to me as a first time buyer. I appreciated his energy and would definitely recommend Pro Spex for home inspections.

Glen knows his stuff! He’s professional and friendly! I called for an inspection due to newly found mold/moisture in the home without an apparent cause. Glen walked me through every step of how to resolve my issue in a way that works best and saves me the most money! He was very thorough and I’ll happily call him again or refer him for any home inspection needs!

Pro Spex was able to set up a last minute pre-offer inspection and delivered on it. They were given only 1 hour of time by the seller for their inspection yet they were very, very thorough. I would certainly use them again.

It started rough (inspector was late), but he compensated $100 off follow on final inspection for being late. Despite being late, once he arrived he was efficient, effective and informative along the way. He provided narrative and importance of what he was inspecting and why. Very helpful.

Having owned row homes built in the early 1900s, townhomes, commercial property and single homes in 3 different states....I can say I've dealt with all kinds of inspectors. However and but, Pro-Spex is head and shoulders above the rest. Robert and Curtis were prompt, courteous, professional, highly skilled and knowledgeable. This particular house was sizable and 20+ years old. I tested their knowledge in several different ways throughout the inspection--separately and collectively. If you want a judgment day honest and thorough inspection (even on the smallest of things that are typically not included and often overlooked), make the appointment. The company schedules at breakaway speed and communicates "above board" consistently--before, during and after the inspection. To include, a post inspection guarantee when you take possession of the property. They give you the Inspector's name and contact information as soon as the appointment is made. I reached out to Robert twice a few days before the inspection and the telephone was answered promptly and all questions answered. Consider including your children as observers of the inspection as well, it's a great learning experience. Shout out to my Dad❤️ for doing so all those years..."I know you want to hang out with your friends, I'm not punishing you ...I'm preparing you".
