Great experience collaborating with preferred construction on my kitchen remodel beginning with Angel who came to give us our estimate, he was knowledgable about pricing and would help with suggestions on options for line items we were looking to purchase.

The project manager Ricardo was outstanding and is very communicative and understood the timeline I needed my project to be completed by, he updated us daily with what's been going on with our project and would often adjust the scope of work since I did have other things come up during this time with one Instance being the removal of popcorn ceiling from our dining area and some drywall work needing to be repaired due my electrical work. Lastly big shoutout to the Salvadore and his crew who came in early got the kitchen demoed and ready for the next phase, the cabinet installer, the countertop installer and the folks who installed tile THANK YOU ALL.

Preferred Construction helped me tremendously to rebuild my bathroom and ceiling after they were demolished due to water damage. The estimator, Angel, was a pleasure to work with. Everyone who came to our house worked quickly and was kind. They even helped my partner chase our dog when she escaped, as unfortunately do most people who enter my house. Now, my 50 year old bathroom looks like a Palm Springs Airbnb and everything looks so new that I am afraid to mess it up. Thank you!

When my project was finished at the end of June ’23, I had nothing but praise for this company. It was a complete remodel of the master bath, removed a wall between the kitchen and dining area, new floors throughout, and few other tidbits. There were a few inevitable small snags here and there, mostly of the miscommunication variety. All of these complaints were very professionally handled by the project manager. I was very happy with how the project went, and the results were fantastic!

Long/short: an issue became apparent with the new LVP flooring. A crew was sent out to try to fix the issue – 2 weeks of intense hammering and grinding of concrete. The process was intrusive and messy (note the house was unoccupied during the initial work – that was specifically to AVOID EXACTLY THIS!)

This was partially successful. I’m unsure of how much of the old issues persisted, or how much was newly developed, but the floors were still not up to standards. A few weeks later, William Brown came out with Ricardo to look at the issue. They were unable to conclusively determine the cause, and said they would look into ‘manufacturer defect’ as a possibility. William pointed out that Preferred has been in Vegas for so many years, and they aren’t going anywhere, that they stand behind their work. He asked for some time to look into it further before doing anything drastic and/or costly.

Over the next few months, Preferred came out and explored a few options to fix it. Sadly, there was very little change for their efforts and ultimately, they did what I'm guessing they were really hoping they wouldn't need to do. They took up the entire floor, the whole house, prepped the slab as if it were a new install, and replaced the LVP. It might as well have been in a completely different house.

Now to me, THAT is standing behind your work!

This experience was entirely frustrating for me, and there were times that this frustration had me thinking that Preferred was playing me along hoping I'd just give up and let it drop. But that wasn't the case. They responded politely and professionally every time I contacted them.

I know that this ordeal must have been very expensive for them, and it's reasonable that they would want to exhaust all other potential fixes before reinstalling my entire floor. And I can't stress enough how polite, professional and accommodating they were throughout it all.

A rough experience for sure (manufacturer defect is still not ruled out), but I am satisfied with how Preferred Construction dealt with it and with me. I would wholeheartedly recommend them.

Couldnt be happier with Preferred Construction. The team was professional, courteous, communicative and flexible. We had a fireplace demo. There were some unexpected challenges but the Preferred team was able to navigate them easily. Mid project, i wanted to add recessed lighting. In less than a day it was done. Angel, Ricardo, Oscar and team communicated well with us, met our expectations and exceeded them.
I would highly recommend this company and plan on hiring them again for my future construction projects.

There was an issue where the wrong flooring was brought to our house but it was resolved right away. It caused some delays but they made sure to work an extra day to finish the job. They were also kind enough to share different stores where we can purchase new baseboards for a cheaper price compare to buying it to a well known hardware store.

Preferred Construction is the best! We needed a bathroom remodel, new flooring, and a TV/fireplace built-in, and they did an incredible job! They had a dedicated crew for our job, and they not only showed up on time everyday, but they involved us with every decision along the way. Their work is impeccable, they clean up after themselves daily, and they made what can be a very difficult process as easy as possible! I would absolutely hire them again, they are a pleasure to work with, and our home is gorgeous!

We were a little nervous to hire Preferred Construction for our bathroom remodel initially as they were actually the lowest bid of several that we got. The other contractors all warned us over and over to beware of the less expensive bids as they will likely cut corners and use inferior products. Our salesrep, Angel, was excellent and went above and beyond to answer every question we had and even went with us to help us pick out flooring and wall tile which we appreciated. Thanks to Ricardo and his crew, our job began and was completed on-time. Ricardo, Juan Carlos, and Armando showed up every morning and worked all day sometimes staying late to complete a necessary task. They always made sure to clean up and not leave a huge mess before leaving each night. They really paid great attention to detail and at our walk-through, the only tiny thing i had to ask them to fix was a 1/2”section of grout that got missed in the area they tiled in the window sill behind my shutters, which Ricardo H came back and took care of right away. We are thrilled to have our new super shower and would highly recommend Preferred Construction to anyone looking for a good contractor for your next remodel. We will be calling them again when we are ready for our next project!

The project manager Carlos was on it , the job was started on time and completed on time. I had family members coming in and need my bathroom done before they got here and Carlos with his crew of expert installers not only got the job done but done right . I can’t say enough about the crew that Carlos has working for him they are the best in the business. I don’t want to forget about the cleanup guy he was here every other day cleaning up the boxes and trash that was created every day by the crew and at the end of the day they would always clean up the area that they were working in. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is our 2nd time using Preferred Construction. Angel and Ricardo are absolutely amazing and so helpful. Absolutely beautiful work for a great price. We are so happy with how our living room came out. They also work very fast, they finished in a week. Always coming early and leaving late!

We contacted Preferred Construction for a bathroom remodel. Angel came out we came with a plan. We are very happy with the remodel.

We started our bathroom remodeling due to a leak in September 2022, completed November 2022.
The insurance company wanted 4 estimates, and they were all over the place low balled to extremely high, with all kinds of promises. Preferred Construction was right in the middle and the estimator/salesperson Angel is truly amazing.
We liked him from the minute we met him, you just know when it just feels right!! We were torn between two companies, but Angel’s professionalism and willingness to help was so genuine we wanted someone like him to help us with our remodel. Angel was willing to support us with the insurance company where the other companies were not. He was knowledgeable, helpful, kind, respectful and always answered his phone, WOW.
He negotiated with the insurance company and never once dropped the ball; he was truly there from beginning to end. We cannot thank him enough. I feel like he’s family. Moving right along, yes, we are signing the contract to begin.
Angel, Carlos (project manager) and Moises show up to discuss the job. I ask when they will start the reply is next week, I am so pleased I thought it would be longer, I received a call later that day asking if they can begin demolition the following day, YES SIR. Moises and his team come to the house and the demolition begins, Moises is amazing, very forthcoming, and informative. Communication was on point with everyone Carlos visits during the job to make sure things are going smoothly. Carlos is also very caring, and you just know he wants it to be perfect, which is awesome, kudos to a Project Manager that manages his jobs perfectly.
The demo is done and time for the tile work, Mario is superb, well skilled in tile work, uses levels on the walls and answers all my questions and I never ever felt rushed, even with all the work he had to do. He was here for 5 days, he is truly meticulous, it must be perfect, when he put the floor down in the shower, I changed my mind on the grout color, he was so concerned that I would not like it, I loved it and so glad I chose to change colors. Mario honestly is caring as if it were his own shower, he would share in our joy once a wall was completed and share that he likes it as well, so personable, knowledgeable, and clean too!
I want to give a shout out to Kim; I remember my first conversation with her telling her what a perfectionist I was. She assured me I had the right team; she was correct! Thank you for all your help.
I will use Preferred Construction again when we are ready to do our kitchen countertops and I would absolutely recommend them to my family and friends.

We had a partial kitchen remodel changing floors to slate tile, countertops to leather granite, and new stovetop and sink. The workmanship and fast pace made this project effortless for us. Everyone at Preferred Construction is professional, communicative, and experienced. Angel is a superior point person who guides you through the process from the start. Kim is spectacular at scheduling everything and keeping billing and change orders completely organized. Carlos manages all the teams and makes certain that all the work is done properly and on time. Never thought that we could find such an outstanding company, and we will be using this company for many more projects in the future. We used preferred construction for our kitchen remodel. They did a beautiful job and we get so many compliments. Ricardo is so helpful we now use them for all repairs, installs and projects.
We just used preferred construction for a plumbing issue we had with our dishwasher. We called a different company at first to fix our dishwasher that was not draining. The other company said it was the dishwasher, so we bought a new dishwasher. Same issue was happening. Once preferred construction came out he figured out the issue within 10 minutes and had the dishwasher up and running in within 30 minutes.

Hello. Just wanted to let everyone know how very pleased we are with Preferred Construction. From the very first call to the company, all throughout the visits from the estimator to the technicians who did fantastic work. They were all very professional in their work. They always showed up every time they said they would. They were prompt with phone calls for issues/questions. I would definitely recommend this company for any construction needed in their home. Our new tile floor looks FANTASTIC!!!

I hit the jackpot with PC to renovate two small bedrooms into one oversized bedroom with walk-in closet/storage area. They installed recessed lighting after removing the old popcorn ceiling. They replaced old glass widows with energy efficient ones. The quality of the work was exceptional! They did detailed corner-to-corner clean work. They repaired the flooring and set up plastic shields from floor to ceiling to monitor dust. The cleanup and pickup of residual trash and debris was same-day quick and thorough. The project manager and construction specialists were outstanding and their use of work hours was professional and timely. They worked closely with me to accommodate my schedule to finish the job. PC is very reliable and trustworthy! Their office staff was helpful and courteous at all times! I’m so happy with the finished room. I will definitely use them again and I’m happy to refer them to my friends.

The house is 32 years old and first time remodeling the kitchen. Preferred Construction met my expectation;
Starting with Angel - delight to work with him;
Victor came everyday for 11 days to turn into my out of style kitchen to fabulous one. The company is - organized, on schedule, rotating crews for specialty works, answers my questions immediately, take care of problems quickly.. dream teams for us.
from my experience, I strongly recommend for anyone who's looking for remodeling or any construction jobs needs in the near future.
Only few things I will make a note;
I wish I had a serious conversation with Carlos (Project Manager/superintendent) prior to the remodeling. First time for us and lack of knowledge, we run into a few problems. Wrong size of cabinets, doors are not able to close next to stove, some waste spaces for under the cabinets, ordering the wrong types/size of hood.. I am sure Carlos would give us professional expertise... and easily avoid.
The house needs lots of TLC and they will be back for my next project in my house.

Unprofessional, called back and the young lady was rude. When trying to get a hold of Nathan to schedule a visit so I may get a quote the young lady was again rude, impolite, as if I the "POTENTIAL" customer was a bothersome to her. So yes I am someone they have not worked with and I am glad I discontinued as the first impression was an Unprofessional Experience.

An Excellent experience with Preferred Construction. They did the flooring, painting, and bathroom remodels on a home we purchased, along with miscellaneous small jobs with electrical and lighting. They did excellent work, gave us great ideas, and were very responsive when we had questions or concerns. The care and craftsmanship with things like tile installation and carpentry were superb. We have two beautiful new bathrooms and really attractive flooring thanks to Preferred, and we plan to use them for our kitchen remodel. Many thanks to Carlos, Moises, and the team who worked on our house.

Wow, what a disappointment. We have been trying to reach them for WEEKS. We keep getting promises of a return phone call regarding a garage we want to build, but nobody ever contacts us. They even came out and collected information/measurements to give us a quote, but despite multiple attempts to email and call them, nobody ever gets back to us. I would recommend moving on to a different company that actually wants your business, these guys apparently don't want or need or business or money.

We were looking for a kitchen remodel. They gave us a quote and then sent us to visit the cabinet maker. He was very detailed in his presentation and made it aesthetically beautiful. Preferred started immediately once the cabinets were ready. They were conscientious with the demolition and all areas of the reconstruction. Carlos, the foreman, kept each contractor coming upon completion of the former contractor, so that there was always some activity. The main installer always asked specific details such as which way we wanted the handles, and finishing details around the edges etc. He said "please say something if you see anything that you don't like, I'm here to make it right and make you happy." This was impressive to us. They were sure to cover all items that we noticed and made sure that we were happy with everything. And at the end, the project cost was exactly the same as the original quote, other than 1 special item that we added to the project.All of the skills, such as the cabinet maker, electrician, plumber, tiling, were all experts and worked to make us happy. We would highly recommend this company.

Overall disappointed with the service from Preferred Construction (Invoice#2073). Generally, the work was okay except the for the backsplash which was fantastic. The customer service leaves a lot to be desired... no one wanted to be held accountable and communication was extremely poor between the project manager and subcontractors. Getting the initial estimate was smooth. The attention to detail was lacking in all areas. We had our kitchen remodeled, installed new flooring through most of our house, and had our fireplace removed. The installation crew scratched our brand-new floors by sliding the kitchen equipment across it. Baseboard were only partially painted in some areas. The crew washed their paint brushes in our turf leaving stains. There were many gouges left in the walls (we recently had the house repainted and holes filled so it wasn’t pre-existing). The new cabinets installed had scratches and gaps as well. We had an island installed and the trim wasn't properly fitted. The baseboards look like it was frankensteined together and broken in some areas. Lastly, the installation team had a complete lack of respect for our home as they treated our bathroom like public restroom (leaving feces on the toilet seat). The clean-up was subpar as we had rubble left in areas, dust everywhere, and they left our screen door laying on the ground. We requested the items to be fixed many times and had a few walkthroughs with no action to fix the messed-up items. The project started at the end of December and we are still waiting for the final repairs in March (estimated project completion was 2 weeks from start to finish). I would not recommend this company.

We had Preferred gut out and remodel our 27 year old kitchen starting End of October 2019. In addition , we had them install new flooring in most of our down stairs living space. The job went smoothly throughout the process. Demolition and removal of the old 17 x 14 kitchen took a day and a half. Preferred allowed us to use Their high Quality suppliers to choose many materials - including beautiful plank flooring . We bought the High End appliances on our own at a major local dealer and found smaller items like ceiling lights, knobs and Tile at local home improvement stores and online. the job took about 7 1/2 weeks to fully complete and we could not be happier. Jorge and his team showed up 5 days a week and delivered a finished product that exceeded expectations. They returned calls and followed up within reasonable time and never left us hanging. We will use them again in 2020 on 2 more home projects. Thanks Preferred

We hired this company to renovate our outdated kitchen and back room area. From Demolition to final payment, every single person that came to the house to do a job was professional, cleaned up after themselves and took exceptional pride in their work. I was incredibly impressed with the quality of workmanship and how smoothly this large job went. Will be calling them again in the future for any remodeling needs.

These people sent out Representatives from their company who promised to remodel our two bathrooms in 4-6 weeks. We were told we had to wait a month before they started because they were going to order everything before hand and have it, to move construction along. Our date arrived and they had NOTHING ordered. This was the most ridiculous place, they would tell us workers were coming to our house. WE would wait all day and then no one would show up! This happened time after time, day after day. Our site foreman would not return our calls and we would have to wait days to see if someone showed up and then they would work for a couple of hours, leave because they had "other jobs to do" Our construction started on 9/23/19 and they finished yesterday. We took a lot off our list, because their work is so shotty! They advertise that they are" honest and have integrity and treat your home as if were theirs!"
They are liars and dishonest and no one would give us a straight answer only excuses! I am going to send a letter to Home Advisor and advise them to take this company off of their list.

These guys are a rip off. They gave me a bid of $43,500 to remodel my kitchen. I I had to buy the cabinets, the counter tops, and sink separately. I got it done for $12,298. They asked what my budget was I said $45,000i, so they tried to use it all. SCAM ARTISTS

These guys are amazing! George and his crew started the work the day it was scheduled and continued without problems. I live in a multi family building and had my bathroom remodeled. They scheduled with my building maintenance and neighbors on when they needed the water shut off and access to other areas. They were very knowledgeable and suggested small changes that made all the difference. I could not have asked for more. Just did the work on time, on budget, iand on schedule. Thank you guys!!!!

I had a Master bathroom, guest bathroom, kitchen island and whole house floor install renovation. It was a nightmare. The work that Preferred started was inferior work. There was no quality control and if you don’t know anything about Construction I would stay away from this Contractor. They had to redo my guest bathroom three times. They had to redo my master bathroom twice. They had to take up and redo a large portion of the floor tile in my Master bedroom. I had to take off from work to verify work being done. The work went two months longer than promised plus three weeks that we agreed due to a ceiling disaster that should not have happened in my guest bathroom. There were so many other issues that I don’t have time to get into. The final job was ok But if I didn’t have a clue about Construction it would have been bad under the the exterior work but poorly constructed under the aesthetics. Make sure that you know Construction and can supervise the work prior to hiring this Company. I can’t believe that they are in business. Stay away.

Excellent overall. Installed my Pelican Whole House 2 Stage Water Purification system. Involved custom copper pipe routing. All done to requirements. Brandon and Ron are great to work with! Competive pricing, on time, and on budget.

It took a month after we gave them the deposit to hear from them. We had to call constantly to find out what was going on. We thought we had gotten scammed. They started and they came and went as they pleased and there was nothing that they did that was consistent. They didn't come at the times they were supposed to and we were left wondering if they were coming back and what times, unless we went out of our way to call. They measured our bathroom twice and somehow measured wrong and added 2 cut pieces of sentral on the front of our bathtub that was supposed to be 1 solid piece and left a huge gap between the two. They put a bulky molding over it so it would patch it up but it's so off to the side and completely crooked. When I told Carlos, he had the nerve to say it's because our bathtub is "off center" instead of just admitting they messed up. I started to call Carlos to let him know I was unhappy with everything from the quality of work to the customer service and he said he'd call me back and he never did. The few times after that I called him and had to leave a voicemail and never got called back. This is just a little bit of how inconsiderate they were with us. Especially inconsiderate to the fact that we had a newborn in the house and they had me waking him up at 8 in the morning (after being up all night with him) to wait downstairs with him so they can show up whenever they wanted. One of the guys even came later than he was supposed to and I fell asleep with my son. He commented on my appearance when I had opened the door and said, "did you just wake up?!" and laughed. They used our bedroom toilet, which is completely fine but they left the seat up each time. They left a huge garbage bag of trash sitting in our bathtub for about a week, empty water bottles and torn up shirts on our floor that my husband had to gather and throw away himself. I began to lose patience because everything was done BUT our shower, the main reason we called them in the first place. Then a guy comes to measure our shower and we had to wait for the material they needed to do that job. What! A week later they came and installed the glass and I was just relieved that they were going to be done and we can get back to our normal routine but the guy doing the shower comes downstairs and tells me it's done but they forgot our shower handle. I asked him when they would be back and he said, "can we text you?". 4pm rolls around and still no text. We had to call them (again) and ask what was going on. The guy didn't want to come all the way back across town for a shower handle. I called Carlos and no answer but I made sure to leave a message about it. The guy then calls us a little after 6pm wanting to bring it. I couldn't believe it. Finally they "finished" the job and we noticed the whole inside of the shower wasn't even caulked!! It's a good thing my husband noticed it before we showered in it. They had to come back and caulk the shower and they started painting around the shower (for reasons unknown) with paint that now doesn't match what we had originally that was fine the way it was. The next day the two pieces of glass that enclose the shower came completely apart!! My husband tried to fix it so they wouldn't come back and Carlos tried blaming us (again) that we used the wrong caulking, that's why it came apart. That they use a "special" kind of caulking. His "special" caulking is what came apart in the first place. So the guys come back and fix the shower doors and we stood there and watched them the whole time to monitor that they actually did it correctly before they left. Before they were even done, Carlos called one of the men and told him to ask us for the check! This company didn't care about how good of a job they did for us, they weren't careful to make sure this would last us a long time, they wanted money. The material they used was like a slab of plastic they had to glue onto our tub and shower which they didn't even take the original tile off from under, they glued on top of it.
