He was the roofer for our builder on our brand new house. We have had numerous repairs needed due to very shoddy work.

The first repair was while the house was under warranty Dan didn’t want to stand behind his work.

The builder used his, again for a remodel of ours, against our wishes and we are still picking up nails around the property from a job completed 5 plus years ago.

Dan - Precision Roofing - originally installed my roof. I had a fireplace leak that originated from my roof for about a year. Dan came out to look at it and told me he thought he fixed it. I called him at least 3 more times b/c when it rained the water came down the pipe into my living room.
The last time he came out he told me if that fix didn't work he couldn't fix it. When it rained most recently and water came from my ceiling, down the pipe to my fireplace, and to my floor, he did not respond to the video showing this.

I finally hired my handyman to come over with a 30' ladder to look at the stack on the roof. He told me (and showed me photos) it had been poorly sealed and he believed it needed more coverage. He referred me to a reputable roofing company that after seeing it told me it was a simple fix - a Storm Collar, butyl tape and high quality sealant.

I am so relieved to have seen the issue myself (my handyman's photos) and to find a trustworthy roofing company willing and able to fix my problem.

Dan charged me very little - telling me he was doing me a favor. I very much appreciated that although I have always been willing to pay what was required to have a leaking chimney fixed. Having had to call multiple times for the same problem (which continued to worsen), having been told in the end that he did the best he could and if the problem continued he could do nothing more, and finally ignoring my videos showing how bad things had gotten is far from a favor. The entire process turned into a nightmare for me.

We had Dan and his crew design and completely redo our roof in Old Town Longmont. Removal of 2-3 layers of old material, including old slats, all new decking, new roofing shingles with 3 skylights and lots of ridges. Everything went well, on time and on budget. I have and will continue to recommend this great local business!
