Clay doesn’t know anything about roofs. Very incompetent. Did not preform work according to contract and half of the nails missed the studs. Cade the owner won’t do anything to fix the issues but keeps demanding payment. Will not use them again. I see why they offer $500 for referrals.
*Sighs* Where do I begin?
It'll be 2 yrs this coming August that they came and put my roof on. There are rusted nails still falling from my roof and getting stuck in my tires. I've had to replace 3 tires. Rusted nails are still sitting on my roof and falling off onto my driveway & backyard. They did not lay the tarp around the perimeter of my home to catch debris. When it rains really hard and the winds are forceful, there are old pieces of my roof that come out from my bushes, etc. The flashing around my fireplace was not replaced like stated it would be per the email.. only spray painted black like the color my the roof. Gutters are full of nails.... still! Nails are still in my grass front and back yard. The crew that was used to replace did not speak English, so when I tried to ask questions... I didn't get them answered due to the language barrier. There were no plywood photos as stated there would be.
There was zero plywood replacement when I know there should have been because of a leak in my mud room. This roof was very worn. There's a slant now in my roof, which I believe to be from the old plywood.
Drip edge are lifting...Flashing is lifting... roof tabs are lifting. This is the first house I purchased, so there's a lot I didn't know, for instance... they were supposed to come in and check to make sure the pipes on top of my hot water tank AND the furnace were both still in place and guess what??? They were not. The only reason I found out they weren't was because I had maintenance done on my hot water tank last year... opened the door, and we saw the pipe was not over the hole at all. I emailed the company, and Clay came out.. got on the roof while my brother was here and moved it to fit. It was very tough to do because the roof was laid in place. This also lets me know how nonchalant this company is because he had to have seen all those nails still on top of my roof. He didn't say a word! Then, a couple weeks ago....I had to get my furnace serviced for my AC..and guess what? Yep..the pipe at the top was off about 40% on that one as well. My AC guy told me how dangerous this was as that pipe moves the gases out of the house. He asked if anybody had headaches, and I said yes... and we're always sleepy. Workers were lying down in my backyard, taking breaks. They were literally slamming the packs of shingles into the roof. I've noticed hairlines cracks almost a week later in my ceilings after replacement. My family and I were home the entire time. It was really rough. Clay was referred to me from a friend I went to college because I complained of others trying to take advantage. He assured me this guy was worth it. Well....not! I've wanted to do this review for a long time now, but each time I thought about it, I'd get so angry, then something would distract me, and I'd forget again. I had time today. I have pics of the items and video of trash left in my yard afterward. The only reason I have pics is because I asked a buddy of mine who does roof repair to get up there and let me know what he saw. There was another gentleman who called me from his cell during the replacement, told me he too was the owner (I cannot remember his name) and asked if everything was going okay...I was thrown off by the call because I was told someone else was the owner, so I said yes, but in hindsight...I really should've been honest on what I experienced up to that point. He told me to call him if I had any issues. I didn't get the full experience of this replacement until the end up to present day. I do not recommend.
Jake and team nailed it!! Ha ha. All went well. Insurance and site visit went as planned. No leaks or wind damage. Expecting a good 18-20 years out of these class 3 shingles. Pro tip- get insurance to quote a discount for these shingles.
