Porky's Heating & Cooling

For some reason the swamp cooler in my house only had one outlet and wasn't connected to the ductwork. I called Porky's for help. They gave me an estimate and great advice. They installed ductwork and vents, so now the swamp cooler will work in every room. I can look forward to it being a bit cooler this summer. I don't know how my realtor and home inspection missed this, but now it should be better.
It is 92 degrees outside and 82 inside. It would have been 87 or more before the ductwork was installed. It's a miracle.

If you are having some issues with your AC these are the guys you want, hands down. Very fast in coming out and very knowledgeable in their job. Highly recommended

Porky's did a great job helping us fix our air conditioner. They came out at night during this 100 degree weather so our kids wouldn't be so hot before bed. I highly recommend them.

I called this place about my heat pump that was not cooling. Porky and a helper came out, put freon and Leak-stop in the system. At his suggestion, I left the system running, set on a low temp. He charged me $268, and AFTER he took my money, he gave me the number of someone whom he said had a lot of experience with heat pumps BECAUSE HE SAID HE HAD ALMOST NO EXPERIENCE WITH HEAT PUMPS!!! When I returned to my house 2 hours after he left ,the house was not cool and the unit was still running, but not able to bring the temp down. I called Porky and he told me he would try to get in touch with the more knowledgeable guy. After sweating through another day with no word from Porky, I called the other guy, and he was able to come out and help me. I received absolutely no word from Porky and no reimbursement of the $268 that Porky took from me.

Sadly, the HVAC businesses in this area seem to be mostly crooked enterprises, especially, at least, when they know you are a single woman. I could write a book of all the times I've been ripped off by these guys. In 12 years I've lost over $20,000 to them.

I called Porky's because I heard great things, they were fast and friendly. They knew exactly what was going on with our air conditioner and boom fixed right away!!! He was here for only 20 mins and the job was done! Thank you guys!!

I had a great experience working with Porky's. When I originally called around for HVAC estimates everyone was giving me days or weeks to reach them. Porky arrived at my house within the hour and I had the quote that night. I ended up going with the Rheem 16 Seer dual heating and cooling unit. Very quiet. I was sceptical at first about putting the unit on the roof because of noise and condensation, but as I said before it is very quiet. Once the installation was complete we even had them blow insulation into the house. So far it is a big difference over the swamp cooler we had on the roof. Not to mention you don't have to worry about water leaking or hoses hanging from the roof.

Good honest service and reasonable prices. Luckily when I come to visit I have been able to find reliable honest people. Porky took care of my grandmother and came over the same day.

My grandmother had another company come over 3 times and she still had hot air blowing and had to pay on top of that. I called Porkys at 9:30am and they were over the same day. They were fair and honest with their prices on parts and labor. The air is now blowing cold and my grandmother is happy. I would recommend this business and definitely use them again.

They came out to the house and said they couldn’t fix the ac. Then they negotiated with the landlord and said we have to order a compressor. A week later they said they can’t order it. So thanks for letting us know a week later that you can’t fix the ac while the inside temp of the house is 90 degrees! Very disappointed

Porky was very straightforward with us about solutions for getting environmental controls in our addition. Very happy with the final product, which included new ducting and an all-in-one heating/AC unit. Reasonably priced.

Top notch service from friendly average joes. We have called them out three times for seperate issues and they have showed on time and were very price savy (rebuild vs charging for new with overhead charge). If we were renting out our home when we leave they would be my required heating/cooling tradesmen.
