Dealing with platinum I was a little nervous at first as anybody is when it comes to getting work done on your home, but Ray the sales man was with me the whole way through the process and walked me step by step start to finish and calmed my nerves on alot of things that seemed tumultuous at the moment. The qc guy Grayson also was really helpful there was some shingle pieces the cleanup crew had missed still in my yard and Grayson came through and went over the yard same day the job was finished.

These guys caught me on the rare occasion I answered my front door. Lucky for me!

Every single person I dealt with from that first canvasser to the initial inspector, to Ray the salesman, the electrician, the roofing crew, the gutter crew, and lastly the sliding glass door/interior painting crew...everybody was EXTREMELY friendly, courteous, clean, honest and helpful.

I explained that 2yrs prior I had my insurance come out and they said the 23yr old roof (which was clearly NOT fine) was good for another 5yrs. Undeterred, Ray dealt with insurance and their inspector. PHD made good on their promises at each step of the process:

1) they really did handle all the interaction with both the insurance adjuster and the insurance inspector
2) they got Progressive to pay for the roof on my house and the one on the shed, interior painting for the slight leak that the old roof allowed
3) the cost to me was ONLY my insurance deductible (plus the extras I had them do while they were out here (SGD, Gutters) and the upgraded Tamko XT shingles (which are GORGEOUS by the way).

Let me say that last part again, had I not opted for the best shingles and premium underlay ($2,175 upgrade cost) and had them also do oversized gutters and throw in a new SGD because mine had bad seals, I literally would've gotten a $13,000 roof for $1,500 (my deductible)!! This matters because after Progressive denied me 2yrs ago, I'd been mentally budgeting about $10K in the next year or 2 for a new roof. And all of this required very little effort on my part.

These guys ROCK! I'll be using them again even when it isn't an insurance-related situation.

We worked with Ben Adler from Platinum Home Design to have several windows replaced in our older home. Ben listened carefully to what we wanted, and figured out the right windows for our needs. Our experience with platinum home design can only be described as a 11 out of a possible 10.Ben Adler was not only professional, he was determined to help my elderly mother get the service and treatment she deserved. Before platinum home design came to us another company attempted to help us but they failed because our insurance company usaa who in my opinion use to be the best was incredibly difficult to deal with. The policy was under my fathers name when the damage was done but he recently passed away. We increased our deductible under my mothers policy and usaa kept trying to charge for the higher deductible even though the damage was definitely from before this increase. Usaa dropped the ball for months but because of Ben’s kind , caring and determined demeanor we finally received our settlement. Even before the money was fully deposited materials were being delivered and within a couple days we had a beautiful new roof. There was further damage discovered when the work was being done and I pray usaa will pay for all the work that was done by this amazing company. If you want a company that goes above and beyond please consider platinum home designs, you will not be disappointed you will be impressed beyond measure!!! I hope I can add photos tomorrow!! I went to a home improvement show and Platinum Home Design had a booth.

Of all the vendors, they were the most professional and did not make me feel pressured into making any decisions, which is important to me because I’ve learned through experience that high quality companies don’t beg for business, they know their work speaks for itself.

So I agreed to have them come over to check out my roof. We scheduled an appointment and Ray Gonzalez came over and explained the process for assessment, including the variables of consideration for my specific insurance company. This let me know he had ample experience and was thorough.

It has now been less than three months since I started working with Ray and I sit here writing this review with an amazingly beautiful new roof and I am seriously BLOWN away by this company. The level of customer service they provide is exemplary and I am thankful I went to that show.

When the insurance company was non responsive, Ray even gave me tips on how to get them to respond.

The roofers were fast, respected my property and checked and DOUBLE checked for nails and debris.

Then Tyler from Platinum Home Design came the next day and checked for nails AGAIN. To be frank, it felt a little overboard, but that’s just how they do business. They do not cut corners AT ALL.

Once my roof was completed, Ray checked in on me a few times because I was on vacation and he wanted to make sure I was satisfied.
