I have used Pipkin Home Improvements on several occasions! Mr. Pipkin is outstanding and is always able to come up with a solution to the problem. I have to say that he is affordable and does outstanding work.

Mr. Pipkin is an experienced carpenter & builder, & long-time Va Beach resident. He provided quick, professional, and friendly service in making excellent repairs to my home's exterior - whether some peeling paint on garage trim, or rotted, deteriorated sections of wood soffit or fascia, Mr. Pipkin of Pipkin Home Improvements expertly and professionally repaired & renewed our home's appearance. Virginia Beach's "Housing & Neighborhood Preservation" dept uses our tax dollars to fund their 'inspectors,' who then busy themselves in targeting our well-meaning, & tax-paying residents - many of whom are seniors or handicapped - & citing them in writing about any peeling bit of paint, or piece of bad trim, overgrown grass, a fence out-of-alignment- you name it; & if you can't repair/replace/ fix the item according to their arbitrary, imposed "Deadline" - then you're issued a Summons from Va Beach Police, & dragged to Va Beach Circuit Court, & labeled a "Criminal"! Mr. Pipkin is familiar with this "Polic(e)y" & came to our rescue. The man is a Gem, and honest, and handy - and negotiated a good rate w/us for our repairs -- he also does roofs, I learned. Too bad he can't "fix" some details of Va Beach's rough treatment of private home-owner citizens as Criminals by their "inspectors," whose apparent job is to target innocent people, even as those people are working to fix their home maintenance issues themselves (w/out city interference). In light of the pandemic, supply chain & labor shortages & greatly increased costs of building supplies, my extensive research found & brought Mr. Pipkin to our aid in this predicament, & without ANY help or guidance from the "Housing/Neighbor-hood Preservation" dept. He graciously applied his craftsmanship & skill to make repairs to our house. Mr. Pipkin's humanitarian outlook & charm are a bonus in addition to his craftsmanship & strong work ethic, & his prices are very fair and reasonable. We are pleased to have found him & his company, and know we can count on him for help with our home maintenance needs. Shame on Va Beach for needlessly but intentionally involving our Police and the Circuit Court system in what they term "forced compliance" (according to their 'schedule'!) against private homeowners, branding our residents as Criminals over peeling paint!

I was blessed to find Pipkin Home Improvements in the Yellow Pages a couple of weeks ago. My request for service to repair/replace rotten wood on some soffit & fascia boards was handled timely, professionally, with quality and fair pricing. Mr. Don Pipkin, the owner, was honest in communicating the services his company could provide and proposed a fair & honest estimate.

It is rare these days to find a business that doesn't try to take advantage of customers. I was very impressed and look forward to doing future business with this company and will be referring all of my family and friends as well!

I was extremely pleased with the manner in which Mr. Pipkin completed my addition. I interviewed several contractors and was quite impressed with Mr. Pipkin's expertise, knowledge,and the ability to explain each stage of the renovation process.
He completed the renovation in a timely manner and actually completed the entire job 3 days early! This fact thrilled me since I was having family coming and did not want them staying in a home that was in this midst of construction.
