Pickle Roofing Solutions, LLC. They are rated as a “Certified GAF Lifetime Guarantee Roof Installer” by GAF. I have used them twice now. Once in 2016 and I just finished with them, again, 11/2024. I have had compliments about the installation of both roofs from Insurance Roofing inspectors. Even after the Hailstorm on 9/27/2024, the insurance guy came off the roof telling me I needed a new roof but whoever installed the last one knew what they were doing. That is why I used Pickle Roofing Solutions again. I always use the best materials that GAF manufacturers, and Pickle Roofing Solutions, LLC., always does the entire roof in a day. This time there were nine roofing technicians. They showed up at 7:30 and 6.5 hours later they were gone, and you could not tell they had even been here. The Project Manager for the Roof was David Gonzalez. A very likable and proficient young man as was his crew. I had new Rain Gutters installed, repair work on Facial Boards / Soffits including paint, as well as the tear down of an old Deck, done by Pickle Roofing Solutions, as part of the entire project. The two different contractors they hired to finish the project were equally as professional and proficient as they were. I could not be happier with the work they all done and their price was competitive with other well-established roofers. The Insurance inspector said it was all impressive after he looked at the finished job. That is the good part, now here is the bad. The office communications both to the customer and interoffice needs overhaul. I am a retired Business Consultant. They need to review their operational process of Communications and make it efficient. Where everyone is on the same page. I stayed in contact with the Estimator, whom I will not name, by e-mail weekly. That communication was a waste of effort. Barbara Haka is the Office Administrator(?) and she is the only person that knows anything or can get anything done correctly. If you want something done right, talk to her. She is excellent. I cannot say anything positive about the rest of the operations staff when it comes to communications. They do not talk to each other, nor do they communicate well with the Customer once a “bid for Project” is accepted. I would use this company again because of the excellent work they do in the field. I know what to expect on my end and I know it will be done right. But dealing with their office will make you pull your hair out. I rate them four stars because Google will not let me rate them 4.5 stars. They would be five stars if they improved communications on their front end and had a friendlier and more professional accounting group on the back end.

Pickle Roofing has taken care of our roofing needs on two houses for me and my wife. One in University Park where they repaired hail damage, helped with an addition and dealt with various leaks. Then when we moved to Highland Park and renovated a house, Pickle Roofing replaced most of the roof and did a metal roof addition over a new patio. Randy Pickle may be the best I've ever worked with - and I have worked with a lot. I say this because he is experienced, knows so much about roofing, is calm, personable and has an incredible workforce.

I was prompted to finally write this review because in the Dallas storm of May 28, 2024, we had a leak over our entryway onto our marble floors. Jake at Pickle Roofing had a crew at our house the next morning. As usual, their supervisors and crew are amazing. They diagnosed the problem as the seals on our dormer combined with vertical rain - they quickly fixed the problem and then were off to help others. Pickle didn't install the dormer but they sure did fix it quickly.

Pickle Roofing has also worked on my children's houses - we feel so fortunate to have such a trusted company helping our family. Not only are they responsive and do great work, they are reasonable too (some companies see a Park Cities address and increase prices - not Pickle Roofing).

Pickle Roofing has been a wonderful contractor for all our hail damage repairs! They are nearing completion of some $2.2mil in repairs to all the townhomes in the Village at Twin Creeks from the 5/19/23 hail event; they have been attentive and professional every step of the way. Randy, the "Big Dill" has been terrific, as well as Frank and Carlos O. I saw and spoke with one or more of them every day for about 6 weeks and they were always on top of everything and very quick and responsive to any issues. Carlos O. was a daily fixture in our neighborhood the entire time and he was very professional, courteous, and a real pleasure to work with. It was a long, arduous, and disruptive process to all our lives but I couldn't be more pleased with their work and professionalism.

I have been trying to get my roof repaired for 5 months now and caught in the middle between Pickel Roofing and State Farm Ins. I have now been waiting on Pickel Roofing for a month to have a 3rd party adjuster to evaluate my roof because Insurance says only partial roof replacement. Still no answer from roofer and won't return phone calls or text messages. I fired them and going with a new roofer. I would not recommend them to anyone!!

Put new roof on after hailstorm. They said they would need to come in house at the beginning of day, and at the end, to get up in attic. So I arranged to take dogs to dog spa for a day. They never came in. Not only was that a waste, they broke our Easter sign in half (stuck half in V of nearby tree), knocked a downspout loose, left our yard figurines where they moved them, left one of our patio chairs in the back part of the yard, knocked ceiling drywall loose where I heard them dropping shingle bundles on roof (guess its my problem if critters get in), and didn't run magnet in street where their trash trailer & other vehicles had been parked, so I got to pickup a lot of nails. Hope I got them all. Lastly, when I spoke to them about the sign they asked how much, I said $10, they asked if I had venmo, I said no, that was 4 days ago. They know all the issues but clearly don't care. Haven't seen or heard from them. I emailed them day of job - nothing. Followed up with phone call couple days later, had venmo discussion via text that day & now 4 days later writing this review to warn people how little this company cares about it's customers.

After a major hail storm in 2018, we had our house re-roofed by another roofing company that has since gone out of business. In the years since we have had several emergency situations where the ventilation turbines have ripped right off the roof, or broken so that there were large holes on top of the house.

In both situations we called Pickle for "Emergency Repairs." On both occasions they were able to get out here lightning fast, to cover the holes that were created to protect the house, because of additional pending storms. They were also lightning fast at getting out here to replace all of the lousy turbines the previous roofing company had installed.

Had we known about them in 2018 we would have had them do the whole roof. We definitely will next time!

Sometimes things happen and not every transaction can be without flaws. It is the resolution that separates a good company from a great company. I want to thank Randy and Jose at Pickle for going above and beyond to meet customer needs. For that, I am very appreciative.

Seventeen years living in west Plano after building our new home and never enough wind or hail damage to qualify for an insurance claim to replace the roof.

We had been introduced to Pickle Roofing company and through the years we asked them to come out a couple of times and inspect the roof. They did and fixed minor things but reported not enough damage to qualify for an insurance claim.

In early 2022 we planned to change insurance agents. When I told the new agent our roof was 17 years old he said no insurance company would insure that 100%. We agreed to ride out the 2022 spring and if no damage go ahead and replace the roof.

After another spring with no damaging storms, we met with Pickle Roofing and they offered a fair price to replace the roof knowing no insurance was involved. The plan was to start Monday 17 October and finish by noon Wednesday.

Watching the roofing team work was like watching a precision drill team. Each person had a job and the team worked efficiently in removing the old roof and installing the new.

While we were prepared for the noise we were not prepared for the amount of debris. The team had spread large blue tarps over the plants and shrubs and the deck and furniture. They covered the entire driveway with a tarp.

To our surprise they finished the project late Tuesday. They even had enough daylight to complete the cleaning up process. Amazingly, everything was spic and span when they left.

My next door neighbor is a major company claims manager. Perhaps he said it best in the text he sent me that simply said “You had a good crew!” Amen to that.

Pickle Roofing did an excellent job with our roof. They have on-site supervision of the work being done, and that makes a huge difference. We have several Japanese maple trees growing under the eaves and the crew was very careful and nothing was damaged. They also send another supervisor back at the end of the day to double-check the work and cleanup. Pickle replaced my roof in 2014 and that experience was flawless. But what was even better was the follow-on care. When a piece of flashing came loose 3 years later they came out and fixed it, no charge, no questions asked. Again 2 years later a diverter (kind of like a gutter) starter to leak and drop water on my pool equipment when it rained. Again, all it took was a phone call. Boom. Fixed the next day.

And then this year, 7 years after the initial install, we sold our home and the inspector for noted a popped roofing nail. Pickle sent folks out to fix it. Anyone can put on a roof, there are literally hundreds of contractors in the DFW area, some good, some not. But I have never worked with anyone who stands behind their product like Pickle.

Pickle Roofing installed two roofs for us and both installations were excellent experiences. The employees were professional and polite, always showing genuine appreciation for my business. After the second roof was installed, we had the rainstorm of a century and I noticed a leak. They quickly fixed the leak and the owner followed up to make sure the roof was sound. Although the leak ended up not resulting from their work, they made certain the leak was eliminated. Many installers disappear after the installation or slow roll the repairs once they are paid. Pickle Roofing treated me like family, remaining positive and very responsive to calls and texts. I highly recommend Pickle Roofing.

They had to come back to our house three times because after they installed new windows they kept leaking every time it started raining hard. They also scheduled several times with us to come fix the leak and would just not show up so I had to call them a lot. I also discovered when they were finally finished they never put the screens back on the windows.

20 months later all three windows leaking again. Had another window contractor come out and say it was because they retrofitted instead of actually replacing the brick around the window and the windows they installed were too small. They added a cheap caulk that only lasted 20 months instead of silicone that could last almost ten years
