Mike helped us get through the first stages of a basement renovation. We had an outdated basement that we suspected had some mold hidden behind some paneling and/or sheet rock and hired Mike to help tear out all our paneling, drywall and insulation, and re-insulate and re-sheet rock. Mike was quick to some out and assess the job, quick to turn around a quote broken down by materials and labor, and set realistic expectations for when he could start the job - and then even started it on-time (rare these days). He worked full days, 5-days a week, through sleet and snow, including Christmas Eve to keep our project on track. He was quick to help with minor unexpected issues that arose during the process, and recommended licensed contractors (electrical, plumbing) to help with a couple additional things we needed to do as part of our project. We look forward to having him back to do some finish carpentry and install some cabinetry for us when it comes in. In a world where so many contractors don't call back, are insanely priced, or are generally unreliable - you should not hesitate to give Phoenix Home Improvement a chance to earn your business! Mike Stacy remodeled a bonus room above my garage in Southern Maine to make it a fourth bedroom. The process went better than I had hoped! He was very professional and thorough from the initial quoting stage, to materials acquisition, to scheduling and execution of the remodel. My wife and I appreciate his meticulous attention to detail. The entire process took about a month and we now have an additional 450 square feet of living space in our home. Mike was very helpful with coordinating other subcontrators such as electrical, painting, and mudding/taping. Mike is a great carpenter, and a great contractor in general, capable of doing a great deal of tasks, when it comes to remodeling your home.
