We having been dealing with Penyak Roofing for years with many family members & friends. Excellent customer service and great work. Seems no job is too small they came and fixed some issues with our siding due to storms.

Easiest transaction we've ever had with a contractor. Prompt, efficient and communicative. The office staff were terrific - they answered all our questions and kept in touch with status of job, payment, etc. The owner kept in touch with us by text and answered texts promptly. Start to finish between quote and job completion was less than 3 weeks. The crew came early and at the end of the job they cleaned all around the property and made sure everything was back in its place. Our roof looks great. We are very happy with Penyak and would definitely recommend them to others.

Highly recommended. Their work is professional and on time, right from estimate and all the way through. The crew arrived at 6.30 am, and were done by 2 pm. I was worried about the storm right on the day of installation, but they finished on schedule, ahead of the rain. The crew went three times around the house for clean-up and made sure no debris was left behind. I wish all my contractors were like this company!

If I could give more stars I would. From initial call to final completion. Their communication is amazing. Not an ounce of debris left behind and I have lots of bushes. As someone who can’t take off and be home for an estimate or be home for during the work. They even gave me an option and did my gutters as well! They made me feel very comfortable every step of the way with no issues. Answered every single one of my questions. And scheduling was a breeze. Even 4 months later I noticed a little issue and called them to see if it was under the scope that they did without any question or hesitation they sent a tech the very next day fixed it and didn’t even attempt to ask for money for it. I knew I made the right choice when using them I strongly reccomend Penyak. Thank you again!

On July 3rd a large tree branch went thru our roof, we called Penyak and their response was quick . The roof was repaired after the branch was removed on July 5.Great job cannot tell where the repair was. Highly recommend this company

Good communication with Jessica to schedule and have someone come out to do a leak repair. I was not home but they were in and out to fix my leak within less than two hours and its held up great.

We had a great experience with Penyak roofing. They came within a couple days of the shingles arriving. The job was finished in one day and it looks beautiful. I feel better with a more secure roof and not to mention the amazing curb appeal it added to my house. There was a birds nest on my roof and I asked Joe if he could safely move it but he was already on it. He sent a picture of where the nest was neatly placed. I appreciate the amazing work done and the special care for wildlife around my home. Great company with a great leader.

Showed up to my home at 6:30 am to set up & started working at 8 Workers were very respectful on my property. Installed roof in 4 hours I would recommend Penyak to everyone. I've used Penyak twice, once for my home, and more recently for my shed. They do high quality work and I would definitely use them again!

They started work at 11:30 and they tore off the old roof,
prepped the area and installed the new roof cleaned up all the debris around the house all in 3 hours and at a reasonable price.

Scheduled quickly. Easy communication over text. Fair and transparent with pricing in my opinion. They carry more brands then most roofing companies in NJ. Very talented and kind team. Penyak made it seem like a new roof just appeared, didn’t leave a trace. Done before kids got home from school. Install looks great. Gutters untouched. They took great care with all of the flashing, ridge vent, plumbing ventilation boots, underlayment and fixed issues from the previous roof install. Very glad my neighbor recommended them.

We give penyak Roofing a glowing review! We had our roof done by them many years ago. We've never had any leaks over the years. They're all so very friendly and do a really good job! They also clean up really well after they're done. Recently we had a lot of moss growing on our roof. They were more than willing to help us. They cleaned off the Moss, sprayed the roof with a moss protectant coating oand put a zinc strip on top of the roof which prevents any more Moss from growing. They also cleaned up so well we couldn't even tell they had even been there except our roof looked wonderful! We had hired Penyak to install a new roof about twenty years ago and it's been trouble-free. Recently, though, we noticed the flange around a plumbing pipe had developed a gap and needed to be replaced. Based on our past very positive experience, we contacted Penyak without a second thought. Despite this being a small job, they sent someone out to fix our problem and the technician even took care of a couple of other issues without any extra charge or need to re-schedule a follow-up visit. I wish all home contractors were this easy to work with.

After weeks of procrastinating and emptying buckets of water out of our attic, we finally sought appraisals for our roof repair. Penyak Roofing came highly recommended by my step mother so we gave them a call, this was after getting an eye watering price from our regular contractor. Penyak’s quote was 40% less and would take a day instead of a week! They were spot on for both and we are ecstatic with the job they performed! The roof was done in a day and looked better than we expected. We also had the gutters replaced in another half a day. It’s been about three weeks and numerous storms and rain showers, and as expected, not a drip. Penyak Roofing did a great job, money well spent. Thanks Penyak!

I have used Penyak Roofing for my own house a few years ago and today they put a new roof on my moms house. Fair pricing for excellent work. They cleanup everything before leaving the job. Joe and his office staff are exceptional with communication and accommodated our schedule wonderfully. I highly recommend them.

Penyak did a wonderful job on our roof and gutters. We live in Cranbury and they are able to come here. They were clear on what materials they were using and allowed for customizing. The crew was professional, the staff at the office were incredibly knowledgeable. Most importantly, Penyak did NOT try to sell or market to us a product or service. I can not say enough wonderful things about my experience with Penyak Roofing. I had a leak situation with my roof. Their assessment was quick, and then they got the job done right away. Fit me into their busy schedule ahead of a weekend where we had significant rain expected. I couldn't be more grateful. And the team that came, they were friendly, efficient, and very neat.

I have used Penyak roofing twice. Once for my flat roof project and then again for the rest of my roof. Penyak Roofing also replaced my shed roof for me at the same time. In addition to this, Penyak Roofing also removed my older Velux skylights and installed my new Velux skylights. I would recommend using them again for the future.

Super happy with how our sunroom roof turned out! We will definitely be calling them next year to do the other roof sections on our house!

Penyak is our go-to when we have any issues with our roof. We used them in our previous home, and now I'm our new home. They are reliable, and we're always happy to recommend them.

Called Penyak after a wind storm blew a few shingles off. Installer was very conscientious... left after the first visit when he agreed the color was not a match, and returned a week later to complete the job. I can barely see where the new shingles were placed!

In a word, fantastic! We were 3 days away from closing on the sale of our home, and a bad wind ripped off a part of the facia board on the house. I called Penyak and they came to our rescue. Was there the next day and professionally, and quickly, repaired the damage. Like it never happened! So grateful for them.

Penyak did a fantastic job on two recent projects at my home. In January they did a great job re-roofing the addition at the back of the house. This section of roofing was in dire need of repair,

More recently I needed an emergency repair on my primary roof. Penyak was there immediately to give me the estimate and the entire job was completed very quickly. I should add the price for the project was incredibly reasonable.

So my neighbor had his roof done by these guys and I was able to watch their work and was extremely impressed. I was hoping that they would be one of the better quotes when my roof was in need and they absolutely were! I knew it would be in my best interest to use them even if they weren’t the best of prices but they came in slightly to massively lower than the other bids and, having seen their work, it was a done deal. I’m not sure if it is there regular practice to throw so many workers on one job but I’m glad they did because the tore off and reroofed about 16 square inside 6 hours start to finish and left the place cleaner than it was when they got here. Great workers whom didn’t seem to stop except for the 10-15 minute break halfway through. Joe has created a great business with better than fair prices and a crew that were professional, worked their asses off and, if I was in the business, I’d try to steal these guys away. What more can I say… great owner, great front office and great crew. If you have the black cloud of a roof hanging over your head like I did, call them… I GUARANTEE you’ll race to the reviews section to sing thier praises as I have done within 15 mins of them pulling out of the driveway!

We recently had our roof replaced and we are very happy with the service we received from Penyak Roofing. Everyone we spoke to was great and the entire process, which could have been overwhelming, felt very easy. Had an issue with a leak coming from my vent pipe that connects to my bathroom exhaust fan. Called them and they sent someone the same day to come take a look. Within a day, I received a quote and call about the work that was needed to be done. I accepted the quote and within 4 days, they had someone out at my house and the work was completed that day. It was such a pleasure to deal with a company who actually gives quotes and doesn’t waste your time by coming out only to never send you a quote. Will for sure call them for anything roofing related going forward.

I am in the process of selling my home and during an inspection it was discovered the roof had an issue. I received quotes from 4 different roofers including Penyak. I went with my gut which was Penyak and it could be because I see them doing roofs all over my area. I also admired the fact that some older guy (my age) went up on the roof to personally inspect it, he did not rely on a drone. I liked that. Joe Penyak the owner communicated with me via text from day one until just yesterday when I sent him a thank you note. I could not be happier with my new roof, it looks great and they even replaced a flat roof in the back of my home and that looks amazing. They completed the job in less than 4 hours and not one piece of shingle nor loose nails was left behind. I was shocked at how clean it was. By 1 pm, I had a new roof, clean property and a big smile. The 2-person team was very good. They explained what they found was defective in the chimney flashing and fixed it.
They completed removed the flashing, put in the right water protections and was done in 1.5 hours. No leaks found after the first rain.

Edit 2/18/2025 - Since the above roofing job, I reached out to Penyak for roofing on my rental property, almost an hour away in Morris county. I was so happy that they routinely work that far and received competitive quote. Since I was super impressed with their work, I went ahead with them for this project as well. Needless to say, they did a great job. 100% heartfelt endorsement to the owner, staff at the Penyak office for handling and scheduling, and to the crew for clean, professional and respectful execution. I had my entire roof and soffits replaced by Penyak. They got the exact shingles that I wanted and had the whole roof done in a day. I was so impressed at how hard the roofers worked, how neat they were, and am so impressed with how my roof looks. Then the guys came and did the soffits. It looks like a new house. Thank you for traveling all the way up to Morris County and thank you for making my house beautiful! (And I might add that after getting several quotes, Penyak came in with the best price for the most work.) I highly recommend them.

Penyak roofing installed our roof 13 years ago. They returned calls promptly and their workmanship was excellent. We needed a small roof repair this past week before the nor’easter; had a leak in the bedroom ceiling. They responded promptly, the workman arrived on time, showed me pictures of the damage and repaired it. He also inspected the entire roof and gutters. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

2025 Penyak roofing recently installed new gutters and replaced a damaged attic vent. This experience was as excellent as my past encounters with them. An excellent and responsive office staff and the work was done on schedule with thoroughly professional workmen.
