I needed new siding done on my house and garage. I interviewed a couple of contactors including Hammer Exteriors. Rob came in, discussed what needs to be done, measured basically every angle of the house and garage, and showed the quality of siding that would be used. Because of the proximity of my neighbor's house (on both sides), I knew that this job would be challenging. Rob agreed that it would be a challenge, but assured me that they can take care of what needed to be done. Work began on schedule. His crew came in and went right to work. Very friendly and courteous group of folks. Took less than a week to complete the job (re-sided house, garage and a new roof on the garage). Found during the work that the porch lights, and lights on the side of the house needed to be rewired and updated (animals had eaten through the electric wire casing). Rob was able to recommend an electrician who came in did the re-wiring and new lighting for a reasonable price. The finished product is incredible. I am so pleased with the results. Looks like the house was removed, and replaced by a brand new house. I would highly recommend Hammer Exteriors for any siding and roofing work.

The roof was installed in a day and the crew cleaned up very well. The roof has been done for around 3 weeks and we have had a decent amount of rain since. There have not been any leaks and the previous leaks have gone away. I would not have a problem recommending him to anyone.

We highly recommend Rob and Hammer Exteriors. Rob was honest and thorough in explaining everything from the great quality of the materials to be used to the timing of the delivery to the actual work. He was careful with the dumpster placement, remained onsite to supervise, and finished our roof in one day with no disruptions to our lives.

Rob was present throughout the entire job. He's great to work with. Very attentive to details. Always explains things that are going on, breaking down why things are being done a certain, provides context about the materials and implementation details. We discover several issues that needed to be address, and Rob was very transparent about the issues, our options, and helped consult on a path forward, along with any additional costs. I felt well-informed throughout the entire process. The job took a little longer than expected, but that was mainly due to scope creep due to some major issues that needed to be addressed along the way. There was an incident with a nail piercing the copper pipes to our boiler system, and despite the system not meeting codes for minimal distance from exterior walls (they were using 3" nails and there should have been 4" clearance b/h the radiator), Rob was able to quickly get a plumber out to fix the issue and covered the cost of repair. Overall, the results came out spectacular. Definitely looks like a very high quality outcome. We get compliments everyday. Would highly recommend Hammer Exteriors for any siding job.

As a first-time home owner having to replace a roof within 2 months of moving in is no easy pill to swallow. Rob and Hammer exteriors made the experience very comforting. They were very informative and transparent which reaffirmed that we were in good hands and eased the anxiety of larger home repairs. Our skylight started leaking after 5pm on Tuesday evening, I reached out to Rob Kurzner of Hammer Exteriors and within moments he was already figuring out when to come out to access the damage and repair it. By the following Wednesday my skylights were replaced and the other problem areas of my roof were fixed. Highly recommend Rob and his team at Hammer Exteriors for their promptness and professionalism. Rob clearly cared to fix our roof ASAP and made sure it got done properly!

The Hammer Exteriors team was wonderful to work with! We had 3 exterior doors put in - 2 glass storm doors and 1 fiberglass front door. We recently used Rob Kurzner of Hammer Exteriors to install a new roof and siding on our home. We have nothing but high praise for Rob. Before we commenced work, we interviewed several contractors. During this process, Rob was diligent, timely, responsive and his price was very competitive.

After we retained Rob, he excelled at ushering us through the entire project. Before the work started he told us what to expect during the installation process, the debris, the proper placement of dumpsters in the driveway, the noise and the duration of the project and any possible hiccups we might encounter. There are no surprises with Rob.

When work commenced he was on site every day to make sure work was progressing on schedule and to assist in the inevitable decisions that come up during any construction project. I was looking for a siding company to help fix a hole on the siding on the side of my house (caused by an animal).

I called and Rob was very helpful with giving me an idea of what was going to need to be done to fix it, how much it would cost, and he was able to have it get it done the next day!

Rob came over during bidding process and thoroughly reviewed the extent of the work, the definitions of the terms/needs and purpose for his recommendations and highlighted all the structures and materials needed and what their specific role is. The education was excellent. Then he stayed in touch, answered al my questions, provided detailed estimate in writing, etc. Other vendors weren't that diligent. Some just gave me a number, having not inspected the full extent of work needed. The crew did a phenomenal job. They were on time and wasted no time getting the job done. It was fully completed in 1.5 days and there were no surprises. Rob had accounted for everything. He has sent over the warranty at completion which exceeds that of other vendors. He has been a great communicator and super helpful, supervised the workers. No glitches. Would highly recommend for roof replacement. Also, upon his suggestion we just had his crew replace our shutters and now the house looks so much better! Thank you Rob and crew!

They were very professional. They came on the specified day at around 9 AM and finished by 6PM. They carted away the old gutters and downspouts and left the place neat and clean.

All of the white exterior trim of my house needed to be replaced. The wood was rotting from water damage. Rob from Hammer Exteriors removed all the wood trim on my bay windows and front door and replaced it with Azek. He also capped all the exterior trim around my garage door, gutters, and roof with pvc. Looks beautiful! I'd recommend him to anyone looking for exterior trim work.
