We had three 30-year-old bathrooms that were badly in need of renovation. After a bad contractor experience with our first bathroom, we set out to find a more suitable contractor. We met with several and received a broad range of estimates. Walter, at Pegasus, was very helpful throughout the process. He provided suggestions and cost-saving ideas that nobody else had. As a result, the estimate was very reasonable. We started out with a powder room. The crew was extremely hard-working and easy to work with. They had to make a few accommodations, due to the age of all the facilities. I was very impressed with that. If there was anything we weren’t completely satisfied with, they came back, promptly, with a solution. They were very diligent about making sure we were pleased with the results.
We were so pleased with the way the powder room turned out, we had Pegasus come back to do our primary bath. We’re glad we did. This was a big room, and a big job. We had a few design ideas that the team very cordially told us would not be practical. With that said, they also made some great suggestions for getting as close as possible to what we wanted. Those turned out great. Also, the vanity we selected was slightly larger than the spot where it needed to go. Again, the team worked very hard to make sure they could find a way to get it to work. That worked out beautifully, too.
As with the powder room, the crew (Marlin and Adrian) worked their tails off, in very challenging conditions. They were such nice guys and very easy to work with. They kept everything as tidy as possible and made the space as livable as possible all through the process. Cal, the foreman for both jobs, was a great partner to work with. He was always very responsive when we needed his help. He had creative solutions and made sure we were happy with all the work and made sure the crew always had everything they needed. We very much enjoyed working with Cal.
All in all, we were very happy we chose Pegasus. They turned out to be exactly what we were looking for, in a contractor. It was like they partnered with us rather than telling us how it needed to be done. They were endlessly patient with us (one of us, me, has decision making issues). We love the way both rooms turned out, every time we walk through the door. We would definitely partner with them again. In fact, they will be our first call when it comes time to finish our basement.

This is a late review--I had some experience with Pegasus this past summer/beginning of Fall 2024 to fix a leak occurring at the side of our home. Walter seemed very responsive, trusting, and helpful to work with us initially to figure out the best scenario to deal with our issue, especially with the challenges of getting HOA approval. Eventually, as time progressed (because our HOA took so long to always give approval or response to a proposal), Walter became less and less communicative. When there were things that he needed to update us on--we would have to be the one chasing him with multiple texts to find an update. I found this to be not professional at all and not at all a way to treat potential customers.

My advice is to just be careful and don't be surprised if they stop communicating with you.

What great experience working with Walter and his crew. We love our new deck. We would highly recommend Pegasus for all of your construction needs.

Walter and his crew came and assessed my front walkway that was constantly flooding during bad rainstorms due to it dipping into the ground over time. He gave me a quick and reasonable quote for the work. While he was here we took a walk to the back and he also filled in some cracks along the back patio near the basement. The concrete came out looking clean and professional. Most importantly no more FLOODING on my front walkway. Thank you Pegasus GC!!!

We had Pegasus build a small set of stairs to our front door over top of the original concrete steps that sunk. It was a small job and at times, the crew working on our job had to be 're-allocated' to another job, which we were fine with. Pegasus kept the time our front door was unavailable for use to just a few hours.

Every job inevitably encounters challenges along the way and this project was no different. Each time, Pegasus resolved stumbling blocks quickly, graciously and with professionalism. As a result, our experience was a good one and we would recommend them.

The Pegasus crew arrived on time and efficiently finished the job without any issues. I would definitely hire them again for other home improvements or repairs!

Great contractor, very skilled personnel, quality work. Pegasus did a complete renovation of a very large master bathroom. Demolition to the base and a masterful rebuild. A very complex project involving a full menu of skills. We absolutely love the results. Workers are very neat and were careful with our home. In addition to the painting of the master bath, they also painted four other rooms (three involved wallpaper removal), also installed another vanity top and 2 toilets. Management stayed with us throughout the project and were very responsive. We highly recommend Pegasus.

Finding a capable and reliable contractor is not easy. When we decided to remodel two bathrooms in our home earlier this year, no one we asked could give a strong recommendation for any of their previous contractors. We had postponed these projects for years, simply because we dreaded another “bad contractor” experience. That’s why it’s so rewarding for us for us to report that Pegasus is the contractor we’ve been looking for. Everyone on their team was hard working and easy to work with. Kudos to Walter for building and leading an up and coming young company that compares favorably against more established firms.

We readily admit that when we hire a company and pay them our hard-earned dollars, we expect them to adhere to high standards and meet expectations. Pegasus met those expectations by assigning a team of hard-working craftsmen, providing excellent service, fair prices, and thoughtful suggestions. They were responsive to our requests, provided timely communication and were fun to work with. They were extremely respectful of our home and performed a thorough clean up at the end of every work day.

Of course every project inevitably encounters challenges along the way and our project was no different. But we don’t judge others by mistakes made, we judge them by how they solve problems. We had Pegasus do our bathrooms a few years ago and recently had them do some flooring replacement and baseboards. I highly recommend Walter and his crew, who do such a great job and are very respectful of your time and property.

I want to preface this review by saying our actual remodel went very well, and we love the work Pegasus did in our bathroom. It was cost efficient, timely and exactly what we asked for. It looks amazing. I’m so disappointed bc this review should be 5 stars but it is not.

The reason I’m giving 2 stars should come as no surprise to Pegasus and Walter, the owner. The morning we gave Walter a check for our finished remodel, we were contacted by a good samaritan letting us know he found our check on the ground 20 miles from our house. The issue here is not necessarily the mistake, I get that Mistakes happen, but I’m so disappointed in Walter’s lack of remorse when we told him. He simply said yes he’d lost it, thanked us for letting him know and asked to pick up another check (which we declined and opted to pay electronically). At no point in any interaction to follow did we receive an apology for the mishandling of our payment. Checks have extremely sensitive information on them and in the wrong hands could have resulted in financial woes for me and my family. If we had not told Walter about the check being found, I do wonder what the result of this would’ve been. The gravity of this mistake has not been acknowledged in our multiple follow up conversations and that is unacceptable.

Again, we really enjoyed working with Walter otherwise and the remodel looks great. Unfortunately we won’t be using Pegasus to continue our remodeling needs due to this incident and how it was handled. I’d encourage Pegasus to use more secure payment options in the future and handle payment and customers with more care, and future customers should insist on paying electronically.

The guys with Pegasus rebuilt our porch and did a fabulous job. In fact someone walking by just stopped to comment on how beautiful it is and asked for a business card for them. There were a couple hiccups that they worked hard to make right and in the end we are very happy with the result and our new beautiful porch. I am also confident that they learned from the hiccups and will make adjustments to their process to avoid them in the future. They were able to begin quickly and wanted to ensure customer satisfaction.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Pegasus General Contractors and I cannot speak highly enough of their exceptional workmanship and professionalism. They put up not one, but two beautiful decks for me in less than two weeks, and the end result far exceeded my expectations.

Pegasus just finish a big bathroom remodel. They were professional, quick and very good at listening to our needs and wants. I would recommend and use them again without hesitation.

We had a great experience with Pegasus General Contractors. After a bad experience with a previous contractor, we hired Pegasus to redo almost all of the work done by the previous contractor. Pegasus handled the permitting process for us, which involved a lot of back and forth with the City of Rockville. They were very responsive and addressed any concerns we had right away. The crew did excellent work, were dedicated to getting the project done quickly, and everyone was nice and easy to get along with. I highly recommend them and will be using them for future projects.

I asked Pegasus to install a dishwasher in my home that never had one before, so it involved plumbing, electrical wiring, and turning a cabinet into a space for the dishwasher. Before working with them, I was quoted $3000 and 4-5 days for the project if I did some of the work myself like removing the countertop or hooking up the plumbing. I was on a tight timeline, so I called around, and I’m glad I did! Pegasus was able to fit my project in the day after I received my estimate, they were in and out in one day, super responsive and professional, and I saved over $1000! If I need any more work done, I’ll call them first.

Pegasus did an amazing job remodeling our old bathroom. They exhibited their mastery of the many skills involved in such a project (plumbing, tiling, flooring, electrical wiring, drywalling, and painting). Walter and Nick were professionals in all aspects of running this business. Their staff of employees (Cal, Mario, and Cooper) always arrived on time, were friendly, anxious to please, and adept at their jobs.

Review of bathroom remodel

Pegasus General Contractors recently completed a complete remodel of my 35-year old master bathroom. I am delighted with the results: a modern, elegant, practical bathroom with every convenience. The construction was completed exactly within the agreed upon budget and only one day later than anticipated in spite of unavoidable delays (holidays, snow storm).

Nick Widmaier, Walter Giusti, and Isaac Arevalo were the team in charge of this outstanding transformation. They impressed me especially by their eagerness to fulfill my wishes in terms of design and materials. They all were attentive, flexible, and very accommodating, . Nick and Walter patiently worked to find the appropriate accent tile, vanity counter top, paint color, folding door for a new storage closet, that work perfectly. Isaac is a tireless and exceedingly hard worker, excellent in all skills needed in construction and an artist at cutting and placement of tile.

I am pleased to recommend them to friends and anyone looking for a superior remodeling firm.

Pegasus was on time, efficient, quick and did a fantastic job on our deck. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a company who is responsive and well versed in the field. I'll be using them again in the future for sure.

We called Pegasus for our decking replacement. Nick came out to give us an estimate. He is knowledgeable and easy to talk with. We decided to use them and we were introduced to Walter , our project manager. Again, he was knowledgeable and made sure of measurements, and suggested small improvements to the deck. The job was finished 4 days after a slight rain delay. Everything was done well and cleaned up quickly. I highly recommend Pegasus.

After over a decade in my condo, I decided it was time for some upgrades. Pegasus was recommended by a friend, and I really liked the work they did for her so I reached out to them for some assessments. They were super responsive, professional and helpful. They sent a reasonable quote immediately, and were great about revising it as I continued to make additional decisions about the work to be done. The workers who did the work were trustworthy and patient and efficient. I'm really happy with the outcome and my place looks great!

I highly recommend Pegasus for home improvement. They renovated my master bathroom and a few upgrades for other guest bathrooms. They are very professional, courteous and transparent. Even though there were a few snow days that delayed the work a bit, but they are great at communicating and finding ways to streamline the work. Hector has impeccable project management and customer relationship management skills. Very pleased with the work!

Pegasys built a new shed for me and refinished my deck! They did an amazing job! I would definitely recommend them and would use their services again.

This company is not professional and don't value the customer time. Twice I setup an appointment, no one showed up or at least had the courtesy to communicate with the customer. Very disrespectful that left an unfavorable impression on this company.

If it was communicate to me that someone was sick, I would have understand and reschedule the appointment. The second appointment, I waited all day for a morning window appointment, but no one called to say they were unable to come. I even left a message.

Timeliness - Pegasus was great to work with on my new floors and complete bathroom remodel. When I requested a walkthrough for the quote, they were there THAT DAY and gave me a quote THAT EVENING! I had a text message chain with my project manager for quick decision making.

Collaborative - The project manager I worked with was highly collaborative on ideas and made recommendations based on value of the final product to my needs and not on cost.

Quality - workmanship was great

Pegasus did a great job on our basement remodel project! Personable, professional, reliable, reasonable, available! I would, absolutely, recommend and work with them again.

I had a bunch projects that needed to be completed - repaving the patio, installing an attic ladder, installing plywood sheets in the attic, repairing bathroom and kitchen drywall, installing electrical outlets on deck and in front of house, and installing / replacing fan lights in bathroom and living room. I felt very comfortable with the Pegasus team from my first meeting with them. They were timely, respectful, knowledgeable, and provided very reasonable bids. All throughout, the project manager kept me apprised of the plan for the project at hand, plans for the next day, next steps, etc. Once they started a project, they finished it fairly quickly and did not leave me hanging. They were very conscientious and the final result of each project was completed on point - professionally, and without any issues that needed to be corrected once they left. They are definitely my go-to contracting team, and I highly recommend them for any home project.

Had Pegasus renovated the existing deck at the back of my house, added waterproof system and screen room underneath deck. All stuffs are friendly, and flexible on payments that’s make me decided to hire them. Unfortunately, we have a leak issue a few weeks after the renovation done. Thanks for coming back and fixing even have to spend time redo things 4-5days. Hope you get more customers in the future!
