We went through Peak Roofing to help solve a leak in our roof that many companies were trying to patch, with no success. Peak was able to not only fix it, we went ahead and replaced our entire roof, including all flashing, trim and vents. They inspected the sheathing to ensure our leak (which was causing brown water to run down 3 walls of my daughter's room) didn't damage anything below (which no other company was able to identify where the leak was happening, hence the multiple attempts to patch.)
Bruce Jones was an excellent salesman and provider of answers. From start to finish, he was very responsive to any questions we had, even stopping by multiple times to help us plan and decide on a color for the shingles and trim to match. He was able to determine what shingles we had installed from before (we had no idea, but he was able to just look at them from the ground, and explained why they were failing..thanks CertainTeed shingles....i looked at the shingles once they were removed and he was spot on, and THAT is knowing your products and profession.) He answered calls and emails timely, and professionally. It was a true pleasure talking and working with him, and honestly, his professionalism and time spent answering our questions was what sold us with Peak.
The staff was very easy to work with, either answering our questions or planning immediately, or got us the answer quickly from the right people. We couldn't ask for more from them.
As for the work, was scheduled for 2 days (though the day before work being done, they delivered the materials and had them laid on our roof.) As with most contacting companies, they sub out the actual work, which was expected, if you know how contacting works. They had a foreman on site 100% of the time (minus about 1 hour...... the first one ended up being sick, so he left, after informing us, and another foreman showed up promptly) who was constantly discussing with us the work stages and answering my ridiculous questions about how roofing was done. They never seemed annoyed, nor frustrated by my inquiries, which made such a big project easy to be comfortable about. The team working was quick, worked as a team and was able to work slightly later than planned (by 1 hour) to get the job done in 1 day. (Seems minor, but the work being done made it so my daughter skipped her nap, and at her age, 3, she needs her daily nap). So 1 day is better than 2.
The next day Bruce Jones swung by to ask about the work and answer any questions we had (we had 1 edge of shingles forming a little "peak" where they met, but he assured us it was because of temps and the material laying on the roof overnight...which it laid down within a few days, as he explained it would, or he would have had a crew come out to fix it, if needed.)
We found only 2 nails left over from the work being done in the yard, which is amazing, if you have had your roof replaced before. Everything was cleaned up, and almost as if they were never there, except for our new roof (which had a few retired contractors in the neighborhood talk to me about how good the roof looks.)
Between the staff, sales, and workmanship, I would wholeheartedly recommend Bruce and Peak Roofing for any of your roofing needs. We look forward to working with them for any window or siding needs we may have in the future.
We used these guys 9 years ago for new roof and skylights. Then we had a portion damaged from tree and had that replaced about 5 years ago.
The skylights have always leaked. When we finally got them to come out and try to fix the issue, they made it worse and caused a new leak!
When you call to say it's still leaking....they take their time coming out, cause they already got paid.
Now I have a carpet stain that wont come out, a stain from the water going through the floor to the garage ceiling...Calling Insurance tomorrow!!!
