Customer feedback on Paul Davis Restoration is mixed, with significant praise for their professionalism, communication, and timely responses, especially during stressful situations. Many clients highlighted the staff's dedication to keeping them informed and providing quality service throughout the restoration process. However, several reviews expressed frustration with delays, poor communication, and unprofessional work by subcontractors, leading to considerable dissatisfaction. The inconsistency in service quality suggests potential areas for improvement in project management and customer interaction.
- They kept us informed every step of the way and communicated with the insurance company for additional needs.
- The team efficiently restored our basement after two sewage floods and promptly addressed subsequent water issues.
- Derek was the original project manager and was a wonderful communicator, he got the initial part done quickly and efficiently.
- Karen was a dream to work with organizing every step of the way!
- The Lead tech was very polite and professional.
- They lied over and over again. They delayed the project by weeks.
- It took them 4 months and they kept expanding the issue.
- Their restoration department had to replace broken dehumidifiers on 4 different occasions.
- There was a lack of communication/expertise throughout the process.
- We lost a lot of money because of using them.

Needed a company to board up a garage that was victim of an arsonist. At the late hour Paul responded and was on site .He boarded up the doors and windows and returned the next day to board up the missing garage door. Did a great job in a timely manner. If fire strikes he would be the person to call.

Honestly, one of the worst experiences I've ever had working with a business. They lied over and over again. They delayed the project by weeks. The 3rd party contractors they sent out did sloppy work, were unprofessional, and left huge messes. I honestly wouldn't wish Paul Davis on my worst enemy.
Do yourself a favor and use *anyone* else.

Since Google doesn't allow you to reply to replies, I just have to edit my review to follow up with your response.
1. We didn't go with you for the non-insurance work because it took 3 weeks to get a quote. By the time we got one, I had waited to weeks, then got 2 more quotes, and got the work finished.
2. Our insurance forwarded us all the communication. You consistently lied about sending everything in. You said it was sent when it wasn't. And when it got sent, you sent incorrect information that made the process have to start over (where you lied about sending it in again).
3. There weren't "a few items" — there was about 40% overcharging — which I've hesitated to call "insurance fraud", but if it's not, it's a severe lack of attention and utter disregard for your customers, as they were only removed after I requested it, got a second copy that was still wrong, then waited three weeks to get the final corrected invoice. There was $2,700 worth of work (on a $7,000 job) you were trying to get paid for but never completed.
Lastly, I just wanna say how interesting it is you say you "sincerely apologize" here in the public review — because in our back and forth over the last couple of days, you didn't apologize once. In fact, you repeatedly lied about having never spoke about any of this — but got real quiet when I sent you all the screenshots.
Apology not accepted.

Had a shakey experience at first, but come to find out it was with insurance company communication with PD. I spoke with the owner, Stuart, who has been a pleasure to work with. Brennan was our site guy for the mitigation portion. Everything went very well and looks great.
We will be using them to do the reconstruction portion also.

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.
The cost to replace the roof of a commercial building typically ranges from $5 to $12 per square foot, depending on several factors such as roof size, material, labor rates, building type, and local code requirements.
Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.
Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.
Flat roof repair cost for commercial properties usually ranges from $500 to $3,000, depending on the roofing material (TPO, EPDM, PVC), the extent of the damage, and roof accessibility.
Mobile home roof replacement cost typically ranges from $3,000 to $8,000, making it generally more affordable than traditional home roof replacements, due to smaller size and simpler structure.
It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.
The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.
To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
