When my basement was flooded, they came out right away and took care of it all the way. They were very professional, were always on time, and made it a lot easier to deal with this headache.

Mike was great! We had a pipe burst during my nieces birthday party and flooded everything. They helped us salvage what wasn't wet and move everything to another part of the house so we could keep the party going. He worked with my insurance, he was professional and respectful, and so was every member of his team. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else but if it does ask for Mike!

This company and the team we had were exceptional all around. Billy truly was outstanding and a trusted partner in a stressful time. Our basement flooded while we were out of town. This was the only company that picked up and committed to coming out on a Saturday night to start the water mitigation. Billy explained the whole process throughly on initial visit and throughout the many days the crew was here. I valued that they were very responsive and communicative.

The team doing the demo work was very polite and would call me over to explain what they were doing when there were potential judgment points. Antonio was fantastic. I also appreciated that they were very neat and left the site clean at the end of every day.

Afterwards, the insurance adjustor noted they did a really high quality job like making clean cuts in the drywall to enable easier patching after and covering the air duct vents in the basement so drywall dust didn’t get in the ducts and upstairs during demo.

911 Restorations was amazing to work with! They picked up the phone immediately when our hot water heater burst and flooded our basement and had someone there within the hour. Robert was especially fantastic and knowledgeable about the the entire remediation process and worked diligently. He also set us up with a great referral for the plumbing and repair process.

A broken condensate pump in my basement caused water to seep under my carpet and floorboards. Mike Mayo of 9-1-1 Restoration of DC was quick to respond, helpful and knowledgeable about the extent of the problem and ultimate solution, and provided all of the necessary reports to my home insurance company to allow for a claim to be filed and reimbursed. The rates charged for the remediation work were reasonable and handled fully by my insurance company. Going above and beyond, Mike was willing to check in on the drying equipment during a holiday when I was out of town and also provided a recommendation for a home contractor to handle the ultimate repairs. I hope to never need these services again, but if I do I know who to call.

911 responded quickly and was thorough in their removal of mold and water damaged walls in my basement. Project Manager Mike Mayo was well informed, personable and very customer service oriented, keeping me posted on their process, taking time to answer my questions, and accommodate my schedule. We called this company for a massive roof leak that caused water damaged to multiple condos. They were fast and thorough. Billy, the project manager, was very responsive, patient, professional and knowledgeable. He got everything done quickly and made recommendations for additional things we could do to address mold concerns. The crew was very careful with our stuff and cleaned up everything.

We could not be happier with 911 Restoration. We discovered significant water damage late on Friday evening and Jose was able to come over within the hour. His team followed shortly to place fans and mitigate mold damage. Over the next few days we had to remove ceilings, carpets and hardwood floors. All of this was done with no additional damage and the place was left clean and livable every day. The entire team was a pleasure to work with and did a great job.

Jose Mejia and his team did an excellent job at drying out my home and extracting all of the carpet and drywall that were damaged by a flood that started from a top floor toilette and them proceeded to soak most if not all of my 3-level townhouse. He and his team were completely professional, punctual, polite and thorough. Jose arrived onsite within 30 minutes of my initial call, and then Antonio Mejia and the rest of the restoration team arrived shortly thereafter. They explained everything thoroughly, were willing to work around my schedule, and did everything possible to make me feel comfortable. The entire job of demolition, extraction and packing up of all my family's belonging took about 4 days total, but part of the reason for the length of time was my need to delay some of this work so that I could do some of the pack up myself. Jose and Antonio also did an excellent job of shrouding unaffected areas and personal property in plastic to ensure that they were not impacted by dust and debris from their work. Jose also arranged for Core to come in and do most of the packing, and this team working under Lisa was also very professional, thorough, flexible and accommodating, providing an equal high level of customer service. All in all, Jose, Antonio and Lisa made this disaster a very pleasant experience.

Mike M. and his team responded quickly and effectively when our sewage drain overflowed into basement. They took great care in sanitizing the affected areas and removing the contaminated flooring and walls within a relatively short time period. They were always on time and in contact.

Our freezer sprung a leak in the middle of the night and we found large puddles of water at 1am in the kitchen and basement. After half an hour of calling, 911 Restoration was the first company I came across that could send someone out within the hour. Jose lead the restoration and was professional and reassuring throughout multi-day our experience. He was always available for questions and addressed our concerns very effectively. Our basement was full and cluttered with old toys and furniture, and the team did an excellent job removing sopping wet drywall and carpeting without risking anything in the surrounding area. We were very pleased with our recent experience with 911 Restoration's services. They responded almost immediately and Robert, the Project Manager, came out to inspect the water damage. The work performed was thorough and handled in a timely and efficient manner. We were especially pleased that all the furniture and belongings were fully protected.

911 has helped us with 3 separate water issues. They helped make terrible situations less stressful. They were quick to respond, arriving within 30 mins-1.5 hrs which helped us minimize our damages. Jose was incredibly responsive and checked with us frequently to see if there was anything else we needed. He worked with our insurance adjuster to make sure the mitigation was thorough. He came back to our house frequently to check on the equipment and move them to dry things most efficiently. Can’t recommend them more highly!

I don't even know where to begin!! Let's just say they lived up to their name because we had a SERIOUS EMERGENCY on our hands! Not only did our basement fill up with raw sewage from the basement ONCE...it did this REPEATEDLY during the process of them cleaning! They'd clean...set things up to dry out and lo and behold, there would be another back up! Robert CAME THROUGH LIKE A CHAMP!! Completely professional and assured me this was not completely rare ( I felt so bad for having to call them back for a repeated clean ups)!
Robert stayed in constant communication and always kept me informed as to what was happening with the progress of our basement.
End note: FINALLY, it was discovered that the back ups were at the fault of DC WATER and SEWER (of course they fought tooth and nail until they actually found the massive clog in their line)!!

I had an overwhelmingly positive experience with 911 Restoration of Washington, DC. In particular, Jose made what was initially a very alarming experience to have sewage backup into the house, a very manageable one. He was knowledgeable, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure that we were kept abreast of everything that needed to be done, showing up on time, and being incredibly positive and supportive! Again, we had a wonderful experience and I highly, highly recommend Jose for his professionalism and kindness!

There was an appliance malfunction in my condo building that caused some water damage. Robert was attentive to our questions and concerns and regularly checked in throughout the mitigation process.

Robert did a good job with the initial mitigation after the flood. But found mold a couple weeks later that needed treatment before we could continue with the reconstruction. He was a no show about 5 times before we just went with someone else who did a good job. He never communicated that he would not make the appointments and just never responded after the last missed appointment. I also can’t speak about prices, but our insurance company is still negotiating the bill.

Jose by far is a step above the usual technician that one calls in an emergency.
