We just bought a home in Roanoke and this was a fantastic experience with the Calverts! Extremely thorough and very personable! Curtis truly cares about his work and is passionate about ensuring our comfort level about moving into our new home worry free.

Curtis' sense of humor was fantastic and answered me honestly when asked if there's any signs of the house being haunted. I'm moving in with confidence the house is sound and free of unwanted spirits.

Highly recommended!!

Had two home inspections done by Curtis and his partner Beth and can I say the guy is phenomenal and extremely through. Took the time to explain everything we asked and he was extremely knowledgeable on all and any subjects. The first home inspection done was a godsend, he pointed out so many issues with this property that would've put me and my fiancé in a hole. Glad to say we didn't become proud owners of that property. Plus I couldn't be happier with his detailed reports; they were very informative, helpful, and considerate for a new homebuyer. Overall, I can say he went above and beyond and I couldn't recommend a better home inspector! Thanks Curtis

I'm in the process of buying an investment property and had an inspection by CALVERT. This is one of the most detail, comprehensive inspection reports I've ever seen. Kudos to the team on the detailedness and usefulness of the inspection. Not only has it provided the details needed to close the sale but also everything I need to know to determine what needs to be fixed before renting it out, what to budget for replacement in the near future, what to add to regularly review for maintenance and estimate when things will likely need to be replaced. Thank you very much!

I recently had 2 homes inspected by Curtis and he did a phenomenal job. Unfortunately, there were many issues with the first home and I ultimately decided not to buy it. Several weeks later, I signed a contract on another house and Curtis also inspected that home. He is very thorough in his inspections and extremely kind and understanding. I highly recommend Calvert Home Inspection.

Curtis and Beth are probably the best inspection team you could ever hire. I recently had the pleasure of utilizing the services of Calvert Home Inspection and I can't recommend them highly enough. Their professionalism and attention to detail were truly remarkable, making a typically daunting process effortless. Not only had Curtis already walked around and scoped out some things at the property prior to me arriving 15 minutes early, but their comprehensive inspection report was delivered with extremely fast and was around 100 pages without compromising on accuracy or depth. Their insightful recommendations provided invaluable peace of mind. The team's expertise and courtesy went way beyond the norm, truly setting them apart in this industry. If you're seeking an inspection service that exceeds expectations, then look no further. I'm not kidding when I say I wish I could hire them and take them across the country. I've used other companies for inspections before and they're just better in every way.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
