Scott took the lead on my families house fire. He did an amazing job coordinating with the subcontractors, did quality work himself. He was able to answer all our questions & resolve any issues. The quality of all of the work was incredible with some upgrades & structural changes. I would recommend their company in a heartbeat!

I was very pleased with Paul Davis Restoration. They were timely with their repairs, good at communicating timelines and took great care of my belongings. They always kept the mess to a minimum and made sure everything was finished to my expectations.

Our master bathroom drain began leaking and we needed a fix right away! Our first plumber ghosted us and Brady was QUICK to recommend us plumbers! Once the drain was fixed, Nick came in to patch the hole in our ceiling and did a WONDERFUL, incredible job. Looks EXACTLY like before, like the leak didn’t even happen!!! Such wonderful people who are adamant about doing honest, good work in quick time. We’re so grateful!!

When my bathroom flooded, my insurance company sent a work order to Paul Davis restoration. A crew showed up quickly to remove the water, and so they get a star for speed of response.

Someone showed up to take photos and submit a quote to my insurance and they asked me to sign an authorization to get money from my insurance company without any scope of work or total. I declined to sign it without detail. They processed the payment anyway.

Communication was non-existent. A crew showed up unannounced telling me that they were going to do demolition of my bathroom. After attempting to work with them, I fired them based on the lack of communication and shady business practices.

They then asked me to write a google review, so here it is. Find someone else to do the work (look at my other reviews to see who I eventually found to finish the job.).

This was the first time I had to use a restoration company, and my experience could not have been better! Tim Barney, the project manager, was exceptionally well organized and very personable. He was in frequent contact with me and returned my calls the same day. He made what could have been a very difficult experience so much easier. My basement was water damaged and they worked diligently to get it cleaned up. I would highly recommend Paul Davis Restoration of Utah to anyone in need of mitigation services.

I had to fire the first restoration company i hired when my house burned down because they were blatantly trying to run up the bill. A friend recommended Paul Davis and they were excellent to work with, both on the content side and the restoration side. My only regret is I didn't call them first.

We were fortunate enough to have Dave Beus as our Project Manager (Paul Davis Restoration)— after significant damage was done to a family owned apartment building, from the impact a run away vehicle (two times in four months)!

We had a flood over the weekend and Paul Davis came out on a Sunday to start the cleanup. They were very professional and always kept us informed on the next steps of the cleanup.

They were great in helping restore our house! They responded within days of our fire and the next day after signing on they showed up with a large crew and began working. The workers were personable, they cared about us as people and our belongings and treated them and us well. I would use them again!

PaulDavis was timely and helpful! They walked us through the process, were very thorough in finding all the water damage and tearing out everything that needed to be removed, super friendly and sweet with my kids as a bonus, and very knowledgable in what they were doing and why. They worked hard and did it in a timely manner, and I would 110% recommend them to a friend!

We recently had water damage in our home and turned to Paul Davis Restoration for help. While the process had a couple of hiccups—such as an extended mitigation phase due to moisture meter readings on the tile floor and some initial issues with the taping and texture work—Ethan was instrumental in resolving the moisture reading issue and ensuring our tile floor was saved.

Additionally, Kenny went above and beyond to make sure the contractors returned to fix any problems, ensuring the final work was done right. Thanks to his dedication and attention to detail, the results were excellent. I truly appreciate the professionalism and persistence of the team. In the end, I am completely satisfied with the restoration and would definitely recommend Paul Davis Restoration!

Been waiting 7 months for them to replace a single kitchen cabinet. According to my project manager, my insurance company is not responsive. According to the insurance company, they’ve never heard from Paul Davis. Every step of this project has involved a PD screw up. Look somewhere else unless you are ok with a 6+ game if he said she said.

I would never suggest this company for anything.
They did work for my mother and did a bad job. When they went to finish the job they didn't have a certified plumber to do the last part. Well that person didn't put proper a seal on the toilet, ( the metal ring) because of that the wax ring broke and went down the pipe.
Even when they were told something was wrong they refused to fix the issues. It was their mistake and they would not fix it.
To me if you are going to do a job you do it right the first time and with some pride.
This company should be ashamed of how they do business. Do not do work with them

My homeowners insurance got these guys to come and do my work in my downstairs bathroom and garage. They did a great job in the beginning, but did not finish their work. They told me they were going to do certain things that they did not provide. That is the reason I’m only giving them a three score also on the estimate it showed that they were supposed to clean and service my furnace. It was completely filth. Me and my family came home from an Airbnb. Stay while they worked on our home and our heater did not work we had to freeze my husband had to clean it out and get it up and running himself. It took him five tries to get it going, also they left debris all throughout the entire utility room area screws debris from the drywall work they did and my brand new water heater had plaster splashed all over the bottom of it, also after the insurance finalized everything and paid them, they literally took forever to come back to finish anything and then the contractor came to inspect the job the cleanup of the utility room area and furnace and told me everything looked great. It was all cleaned out and everything. Plus they left the vanity, light hanging out the wall and the light fixture covers they did not put back on when I had contacted them to do these things. They blamed it on the guy I had doing my drywall in the upstairs, who had nothing to do with the repairs in the bathroom. They did come and put the fixtures back in and the light back into the wall but it took them forever and arguments back-and-forth then I was told that they were going to come and clean the debris out of the utility room when they came to put the light fixture back into the wall. All they did was put the light fixture back into the wall and did not clean up anything and then they have the nerve to ask me to give them a 10 review ha! for the price that they charge with a contractor over $22,000 for the insurance definitely not worth it I highly recommend finding the professionals your self do not go through a contractor complete rip off . I and then for the flooring for my upstairs they said that the insurance paid them out 10,000 for that and then I would have to pay 2600 out of my pocket so I got in touch with Ogden‘s flooring and design myself got their quote and it was only 6900 to go directly through them, so I dropped Paul Davis for that portion and just went directly through Ogden’s flooring and design save the insurance money and also money in my pocket so strong FYI for anyone out there like I said, do not go through contractors when you run into situations like this through your insurance go directly through the professionals, your self do your research they will try to swindle you.

We had a sprinkler head freeze and explode, flooding the walls and floors. Paul Davis came out the next day. Their team did a great job. They were professional, communicative, and very accommodating. Their work was very thorough and meticulous. I definitely recommend them. We are mid process. Hoping for the same quality from their restoration team.

Best company to work with bar none! Very professional, prompt, friendly, knowledgeable. I haven’t had a bad experience with anybody i met with this company. The restoration process was so smooth, between both mitigation and rebuild. I cannot say enough good things about these guys.

I would definitely use them for the dry out phase after a flood. That part was great! You think you’ll get the same service on their construction side when you hire them but it didn’t happen for us. After months of waiting for them to complete the work for a relatively small amount of work, I stopped caring that the work was not quality, I just wanted them to finish. Their repair work dragged out for months at my home and is sub par at best. My recommendation is to keep the insurance money and do it yourself or find a trusted tradesmen and pay them.

When someone else's huge tree fell onto our house, crushing one of our rooms 10 feet from where we were sitting, it almost ruined our lives. But the Paul Davis company was a bright, shining light that helped get our world back to normal! Awesome employees, great work, always on time, and amazing communication! I am curious how it cost me less to replace my roof and 1200 sq feet of flooring than Paul Davis is trying to charge me for drywall repairs and paint. The cost for your services is absolutely outrageous. Paul Davis feeds off the despair of others by making them feel like they have no other option than to use their services in a time of need, the middle of a disaster.

The time to completion was extremely long with no sense of urgency to complete the job, the house sat for weeks at a time, with no one coming to the house to do any repairs.

After we finally had the repairs fixed we discovered that the contractors had been using the downstairs bathroom, causing a large clog and backup that we had to pay for out of pocket. No one at Paul Davis took responsibility.

Lastly, I have asked for an itemized breakdown of the actual work completed but the representative refuses stating that the estimate is the same as the final invoice. How can this be accurate? An estimate is ESTIMATING the cost while the invoice should show the FINAL cost. Why can't someone provide an invoice showing what work was completed and the costs associated?

Overall they handled things pretty well. There were a few things that were missed, or that took a lot longer than we'd hoped/planned but we're very happy to have our house back fully functional.

Paul Davis came to restore our basement after a flood and the resulting mitigation of the damage. There were three teams who worked on the house, a painting/drywall team, a demo team, and a floor team. All three teams displayed impeccable quality. The paint/drywall team, and father and son, were incredibly skillful and pretty much detail cleaned the basement afterwards. The demo team as well, after removing the carpet and pad, vacuumed both upstairs and down as well as swept. The floor team did an amazing job, the carpet is awesome and the pergo looks better than before. My only meh was that the floor team did not clean up after themselves. All in all, 5 stars. Would definitely recommend.

I couldn't be more pleased with Hamilton and Braydon as they cleaned up and tore out the water damage. They were very particular about everything they did and so polite! They put tape on every point that might be a 'tripping' place. Thanks for showing me how great your customer service is.
The rest of the restoration was great! It was so nice to work with people who understood my loss and they wanted to restore it better than it was. Pauldavis's people are skilled and professional and it was nice to work with them. A BIG THANK YOU for a job well done.
