I would highly recommend Paradise Construction. The project scope, schedule and budget was very well managed. The owner (Nour) communicated with us frequently on the timing and cost of the project. I always knew what to expect and what was happening with the project. He is trustworthy and also provided great suggestions on design and materials that ended up aesthetically improving our project and that were more cost effective. It is hard to find a company and owner like this - they are terrific! We are very happy with how everything turned out and we will definitely be using them for future projects!

Paradis construction is a promising growing company. Nour and his team worked on my home in Richmond Ca. They finished what they were supposed to do (framing and foundation) two weeks early. Their pricing was very reasonable and the team was very pleasant to talk to and work with.

The owner and his team were given a hard task as we were converting an existing detached garage into an ADU.
We needed to insulate and level the cement pad to meet city codes. Normally it would be a simple task on new contstruction. They did a very good job working as they did.
We also used them for a pit need by the electrician to upgrade the main meter panel. It was all hand dug. It exposed power, gas and water. Weather at the time was not helpful. I believe cost was great considering all in all.

We have completed two projects with Nour and the team at Paradise Construction, one a major addition of over 750 square feet that took months and the other a small kitchen remodel that added barely 50 square feet and took only a couple of weeks. In both cases, Nour and his team showed the same incredible attention to detail and fine craftmanship. They were always patient and helpful as we worked with them on design features, and provided great clarity regarding costs and how additional work would impact our bid. Mark, Tristan and Tommy were a pleasure to have around the house and we wouldn't have started the kitchen project if we had not had such a great experience with the large addition. We had Paradise Construction build us a 12’x20’ Patio Cover with the “Shou-Sugi-Ban”finish with custom black hardware and we couldn’t be more pleased! From start to finish everyone involved was very hard working, professional, and friendly all during this summers Heat Wave! The quality of the work far exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend to anyone wanting to build a custom patio cover!! Thank you Paradise for the Beautiful Patio Cover that we will enjoy for years to come!!

Paradise Construction offers the best in value and quality! Nour and his crew completed a 600 sqft addition and dining room expansion/utility move on our house and we couldn't be more pleased with their work. The 2 bedroom 1 bath addition seamlessly attaches to our existing home and has truly changed our lives. The whole process of working with Paradise has been a pleasure and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

Starting with the value-- we received 9 bids and Nour offered a very competitive quote. On top of that, what stood out to us was his flexibility and willingness to work and adapt to the many changes that arose with starting a new project. We had originally contacted him for a detached ADU build but eventually transitioned our plans to an addition instead. Nour quickly switched gears to provide guidance on the addition details and gave a detailed quote with line items. I appreciated his patience and advice along the way. Granted this is all before we had even paid him anything.

Timeline-- We started the build during a challenging time. The pandemic caused increases in many of the supplies and personally, we were expecting a baby 3 months after the start of construction. Nour and his team worked closely with us to find material alternatives to help keep costs down without sacrificing the quality. Even with some delays due to supply, Nour and his team worked tirelessly to ensure that we kept as close to the timeline as possible. Our baby decided to come two weeks early, which was a surprise to all of us, and Nour and his team stepped up in a big way to make sure we had a home to bring our baby back to. There were 7 grown men climbing over each other, scrambling to complete projects, and working overtime to complete everything from flooring to painting to electrical. They ended up finishing the interior just in time for our discharge and we could not have been more grateful for all their hard work, dedication, and heart to pull it off.

Paradise's professionalism, timeliness, and prices are above and beyond anything you will find out there. They are true craftsmen and take pride in their work and it shows. They take care of you even when you don't ask for it, and at the end of the day, they treat the project like it was their own home.

We were extremely pleased with Paradise Construction and especially with Nour Chaaban and his team. Even with wildfires and Covid going on, his team did an amazing job and got everything done on time. We had a patio cover and concrete laid to better take advantage of our outdoor space during all seasons. We've received so many positive comments and I'm confident we doubled the value it added to our house. Highly recommend. You definitely get what you pay for!

Let me start off by saying that this project turned out amazing! Nour and I collaborated on this covered deck for over a year, and the finished product is truly stunning. Nour devoted a lot of time before we got started in order to work out of the details because there were many moving parts. This project has 466 sf of decking with a 24’ x 12’ covered main living area. From the first day of demo I knew we had the right guy. Nour and his crew were on time and dug right in by removing our old deck and busted up the old patio. Whenever we ran into any issues Nour would come up with solutions, and this made the whole process easier. Once the substantial concrete footings and patio were poured the structure was completed in just days. This is when I knew for a fact, I had hired the right person! I have been around construction my entire life and I know the money is in the details. However, if the structure is not built soundly then you just forget about the details, so with that said I can tell you that this foundation and structure are build right! Of course, the details on this project are simply outstanding. The dark stained rough cut 2” x 8” red cedar decking & railing, the pine T&G cover, the Shou Sugi Ban ridge/rafters/kings/struts are set against the off-white siding/beans/posts really works well together. I have to say that Nour’s work ethic and his desire to make your project special to you shows in the final product. The best thing that I can say about Nour is I have already discussed several other projects that I want to hire him for in the coming years. I look forward to our next collaboration.

paradise construction did a great job on our recent home addition. we took a small family room with a half bath and added on to create a larger family/play room with a full bath and laundry. we came to nour with a very specific design - our addition was fairly modest and we had quite a few things that needed to fit in a limited space. he made sure that our new space was everything we had planned at a very reasonable, fair cost.

nour and his crew were excellent - they were reliable, considerate, and accommodating (to both scheduling issues and additional requests/changes made during construction). they are also skilled in their trade - the work they did makes our addition feel as though it’s always been part of the house. nour went above and beyond to make sure everything was done just right and we are very happy with the outcome.

everyone at paradise construction was a pleasure to work with from start to finish, and i would recommend that anyone looking for a contractor contact them for a bid. for now we are settling down and enjoying our new space, but when we’re ready to tackle another home improvement project - our first call will be to paradise.

We completed a large addition of multipurpose room (media, sunroom and game room) as well as deck, and fence. Owner Nour is very knowledgeable and flexible to change as project progressed. Any large project requires adjustments and patience from both sides and Nour guided us patiently throughout the construction. We are very happy as how the addition is looking and other people also commented about the excellent quality.

I hired Nour to construct a timber frame garden shed for me but unfortunately my house budget went over and I had to cancel the plans for the garden shed. He was a pleasure to work with for the time that we corresponded and planned the project. Nour was involved and enthusaistic and helpful throughout the whole process and was eager to help me work within my means. In the future, when I am better set up-I hope to work with Paradise again.

I found Nour when he was working on my neighbor's remodel. The deck and paving he did for them was so high quality and quickly and cleanly done that I took his number just in case I needed any work done on my house in the future.
A year later I had some water damage on an interior wall, so I called him up for help. He sent in his plastering guys and they were great with communication, promptness and clean up. They made easy work of the repair and I'm very happy with it.

I am definitely going to keep bringing Nour and his team back for other projects that we have consulted on, as I trust his quality of work and know that he can get it done in a timely fashion, which is very important to me.

Efficiency, creativity and quality make Nour stand out from all the other builders I've used in the past (it's hard to get all 3 factors in one person!).

You would be hard pressed to find a more honest, hard working group of people. They came in when my roof was leaking and suggested not the most expensive fix, but one which would correct the problem. Three men worked with barely a break in the cold rain and with severe colds. The men were quiet and courteous, always on time, and always greeted me with a smile. I plan to use this company again and highly recommend it to anyone who asks.

All I can say is wow! Nour came out to bid on my deck and right away I liked him. He had ideas and pictures of his previous work. None of the other contractors had any ideas! He wasn't the lowest bid but my wife and I agreed he was being realistic. The deck is a large one and we wanted the best! Well to make a long story a little shorter, we hired Nour. From the first day we knew we had the right guy. He was here on time and dug right in. Removing our old patio and digging holes for the concrete footings. Once the substructure was complete they sanded and stained every deck board! The construction of the deck surface was when we really realized we had the right guy. It is truly a work of art how he picture frames the deck with darker stained wood on the outside! The addition of a nautical star in the center of the deck only shows his desire to make your deck special. I deal with contractors every day. Nour isn't your average contractor! He is leaps and bounds ahead of the others! His work ethic (showed up every day!) and desire to make your project special shows thru!

We got a new roof that was done professionally with care. The sky light was replaced as well as it had been leaking. The men were professional and pleasant and cleaned up after themselves. We are very pleased with the results. Thank you Nour and fellow workers.
