We lost a few roof shingles in a recent windstorm. Our homeowner's insurance would pay only to replace lost shingles. However, neither current shingles nor any of a similar color or style are available. We were at a dead end in dealing with the insurance company over this complex situation. Papio Exteriors owner, Tom Galgerud, entered into the negotiations with the insurance company and ultimately obtained reimbursement for an entire roof shingle replacement. Tom oversaw the entire re-shingle project and ensured that we were completely satisfied with the finished job. He is a consummate professional, dedicated to exceptional service and his customers. We highly recommend him for any home exterior projects

Would NOT recommend, had an interaction with him and his WORK SUV with HIS company on it. When confronted about him running the red light to turn while we were going through the light and almost hit his vehicle he said “You need to watch out” then admitted he ran the red light. Also arrogantly said “Don’t let it ruin your day.” I can easily say I was more concerned with my little sister in the back and my mother driving than I was about my day, buddy. Glad nobody was hurt due to his negligence.

But what really set them apart was how hard they fought for us with our insurance company to cover our hail damage. Initially, our insurance was only going to pay for a partial fix—just $4,000—which wouldn’t have solved the real issue. That’s when Tom, the owner, stepped in. He submitted additional detailed proof and thorough estimates to our insurance company, making it clear that a full replacement with gutters was necessary. Tom was amazing. We had an extremely difficult insurance company and he stuck through it for almost 4 months. He was super helpful in trying to fight them along with going to the city and turning the tide on our fight with the insurance company. Once we got the go ahead he had the roof done in one day. Despite the cold weather he made it work and helped us as much as he could in anyway possible. If you’re looking for a roofer who will help you not matter what, give you the honest truth, and never take advantage of you this is your guy!

I was getting very frustrated, and I had a friend recommend Tom. He had just replaced his roof and some siding. So, I made a phone call to Tom, and I'm so thankful I did. I had a new roof and covered gutters done on my home this year thanks to Tom at Papio Exteriors. His quote beat all the other companies I called for estimates. I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. He and his workers go above and beyond to make the process easy and without stress. The day of install, Tom stopped by twice to check on the work. His team was polite and helpful all day. My foot was broken and they even offered to carry my groceries in for me! They cleaned up so nicely at the end of the day. I didn’t have to worry about loose nails in the yard at all. Also, Tom always makes himself available to answer any of my questions. I can’t recommend him and his company enough! When I need my house painted next year, I’m definitely calling him again!

Tom is an incredibly honest contractor. He followed through with everything he promised. He even went above and beyond working with my insurance. I chose Tom out of 5 other contractors I interviewed because he could handle everything I needed on my storm claim. Tom also has crews that have been with him for many many years and it shows. I was very impressed with all the sub crews that came to work on my property. I could tell that they have a very trusting relationship with Tom. They showed up and did their very best work. The sub crews were very proud of their work and were eager to share how they went above and beyond for my project. I feel the clean up at the end of the day was excellent as well. Hopefully I do not ever have the kind of storm damage I did this year but if I do I will definetly be working with Tom again.

Papio Exteriors was great to work with! They came on a Friday both to inspect my roof and decided it was bad enough that it needed to be tarped asap. They sent someone out right away, on Sat morning, and had it tarped quickly in order to protect it from any possible rain. Tom said it didn't matter if I went them or not, he just wanted to make sure there wasn't more damage. Glad I did go with them. They got me on the schedule very quickly and had it done in one day! They also did a great job cleaning everything up and not leaving a bunch of nails in the lawn! Highly recommend!

Papio exteriors did an outstanding job from start to finish with replacing our new roof! They showed up on time, did exactly what they said they were going to do, everyone was professional and the job site was cleaned up afterwards! Would highly recommend them to anyone!
