We contacted Pafford Construction for a quote on replacing two decks. Zach responded quickly and came out to view the project we envisioned. He offered some great suggestions which we agreed upon and he provided us a detailed written quote. We chose his proposal based on cost, prompt responses, other reviews, and the sense of trust that Zach created. They provided an estimated start date and actually were able to start early. They took care of obtaining building permits and scheduling inspections. During early demolition they discovered water damage under the original siding that had caused serious rotting to framing around doors and windows. Zach immediately brought it to our attention and detailed our options from a “bandaid fix” to a proper repair. We chose to repair it properly and Zach provided us an estimate to complete the project. They quickly completed this bigger job, even through some cold, snowy weather. We are very happy with the finished project and the quality of the workmanship. The added work required some finish carpentry which again demonstrated excellent workmanship. Zach and the crew were a pleasure to have on our property. They were very respectful of our home and cleaned up each day they were there. The communication with Zach was excellent, and the project was completed as quoted, with no add-ons. We would highly recommend Pafford Construction for any project you are considering and will definitely use them for any future projects we have.

Zach Pafford of Pafford Construction build a new deck and I couldn't be more pleased with the result. First, Zach provided an itemized estimate of labor and materials cost (none of the others I got estimates from did this). His estimate was reasonable, and he stayed within his estimate of time and costs. He also gave good advice about the construction and was open to my suggestions (his were invariably better!). He cleaned the working area every day, and he and his crew were friendly and professional.

Pafford Construction was a pleasure to work with. We had a rubber roof that was leaking, and composite decking over it. They neatly removed the existing boards, redid the rubber roof (with great improvements based on their suggestions to ensure it was watertight). Deck boards were replaced and matched up nicely. We decided to redo the railings as well, and they look fantastic. The crew was very responsive to messages, arrived early and put in a full day's work each day. The worksite was cleaned after each day, and they were super polite to have working here. We would highly recommend Pafford Construction to anyone looking for quality work at a reasonable price.
