Pete is the best, Highly recommend to all friends and family. They will do anything from Roofing, Siding and Concrete, and landscaping, to interior renovation and repair. I was referred to P&D Construction by Steve at The Brokerage Windows and Doors. He spoke very highly of them and recommended them to install my windows and possibility of doing my siding. I talked with Pete on the phone, set up an appointment and his partner Bob showed up. Nice guy, said that he would get in touch with Steve from the Brokerage. Asked Steve about if he talked with the guys, not yet. Called left a few voice mails, never heard back. I called again and finally talked with Pete again, he said that he would come out and look at the job. Pete called and left a message on my phone said that he didn't have my address. Called him and gave him my address, he said that he was in Kaysville, that he would stop by on the way back to Sandy. He called around 4:30 pm and said that he would come by the next day, never heard from him and he was a no show. Called Steve and he would call Pete and find out what was going on. Mentioned to Steve that I don't want them to install my windows, since they have shown no effort in responding to my calls or showing up for their appointments.

I have come to the conclusion that he must have not like my comment about one of my previous contractors, they are in the same Ward. Or the other issues is that we are gay and he must have a problem with that.

The conclusion is that he lost out on a couple big projects, also we are not changing our way of life, like I am not asking him to change is lifestyle.

Totally disappointed that I have to write this review, but I can't understand why people have to be so rude and unreliable.

Just read one of the other reviews I can't imagine why this guy thinks what he thinks good contractors are busy that's the bottom line
I've worked with Pete for years and sometimes I can't get a call back... not for any other reason then he needs more help too much business not enough good help... It has nothing to do with the assumptions this guy was making.
He just needs a good office manager

I recently had P & D pour a concrete pad for my back patio. I had received several quotes and they were the most reasonable. They did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend them.
