Own Restoration recently completed the installation of our new roof, gutters and downspouts. We couldn’t be more pleased with the work that was done and the color choice. It really modernized the look of the house. Alex was great and very helpful at each step. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Own Restoration again. Again, very pleased overall.

OWN was one of the four businesses we had quote us for our roof replacement. Alex was fast with his analysis and estimate. He spent a good deal of time to walk through the quote, the contract, and the process. He even took extra time to explain another company's quote to make sure I was fully informed on any decision. Work wise, it was prompt with a great clean-up effort afterwards. I won't need them for roofing for another 30 years, but I'm definitely a returning customer for some other home projects we have on the horizon.

We were in need of a new roof and contacted Alex at Own Restoration after he was recommended by a neighbor. After he inspected our roof he found hail and wind damage. The old shingles were the regular green asphalt. We went with a black metal roof and all new black guttering. They also replaced some siding. It looks great. Couldn’t be happier. In May of this year we experienced a major hailstorm at our home. The roof was damaged as well as a window was broken and holes where punched in the siding on a detached garage. I had noticed Own Restoration working on another house not too far away and decided to call them. That was the best call I ever made to a contractor for work on our house!
This company was prompt, professional, and extremely honest in all aspects of the work they did for us. Communication was outstanding during the entire project. The roof needed to be replaced on both the house and garage as well as replacing the broken window and siding on the garage. We also had them upsize our gutters and downspouts and install a Leaf Filter system on the gutters. It was a big job. On the day of the roof replacement a crew of about 15 showed up at 6:30 am and never stopped until they were done. So the entire roof was replaced in one day. The gutter work and window replacement happened a little later because we had to wait for materials that were on order. They maintained excellent communication on the status of the work to be completed while we waited for the materials. I'm very thankful that I made that call that day and found this outstanding company. I highly recommend them and will be calling them again in the future. Very positive experience! Alex was the person who came out to check my roof, give me an estimate and oversee the process. I can’t say enough good things about him. We were needing to replace the old shingles on our house and detached garage, and decided on a new metal roof. So, I searched the web for local contractors, and OWN’s site caught my eye! I called and left a message one evening, they called me back the next day, came out and gave me an estimate the next and I had them under contract the next. A week later I had a beautiful new roof system, that my insurance company estimated it added at least $75,000 to the value of our property!

On the day of, a crew of 10 highly skilled artisans showed up at 6:00am and worked all day, with only a half hour lunch break, and continued until “dark thirty”. They never broke stride or complained about the 104 heat index! Although they had water and Cokes, it was HOT, so to try to help, we set out a couple of ice chests filled with Gatoraide and Arizona tea, for which they were very appreciative!

It was fascinating to watch them work from the shelter of my shade tree, like a well-oiled machine with everybody knowing exactly what to do, and when to do it. They obviously took great pride as they sought perfection in their endeavor, like they were creating a functional piece of sculpture!

The roof consisted of a layer of synthetic felt underlayment, a layer of solar shield foil, 1"x4" strips, and steel roofing. That is a great combination that really helps save energy. I was surprised how much more work it was to install it than shingles, but it was worth it!

My garage was 15 degrees cooler yesterday from this roof alone! I can finally work in it in the summer without being baked. Thank you Alex and crew! I highly recommend them!

I brag furthermore on the install crew for the excellent performance well done on my residential roofing, gutters and shed roofing replacement. They completed the entire project within two days of work- even working in the rain and cleaned up the jobsite after finishing each day. The laborers appeared to have been properly trained and carried a work ethic that I wish could be instilled into my own private staff. They brought all equipment needed and did not experience any errors or inconveniences to my knowledge.

They repiared our roof and gutters thst were rotting from damage quickly and looks very good. Reasonably priced as well.

Jerked me around waiting on an estimate for weeks, would not return calls (said he did, but the number he said he called was not mine). That was 5/11. At that point, I texted Alex to make sure he had my correct number. Said he was waiting on a response from Rafael, whoever that is. On 5/19, with more rain and no response, I texted him in the morning. No response.
Finally called him at 6:45 PM. He didn't answer, but texted me immediately. I was able to finally get a quote from him and it was very high. Frustrating experience. Cannot recommend.

Edit: Received a call from the owner, who was a little frustrated about the review, but seemed like a professional person. Not sure what he can do at this point, but I appreciated the call.

Own restoration did an amazing job at responding quickly and getting the job done all before I had to leave for vacation. My roof was leaking so terribly and every other roofing company had so many issues with not calling back in a timely manner or even at all. The estimate was extremely detailed and even went above and beyond to do the extra work I asked of them. Came out days later to put on a chimney bracket and fixed the post on my porch. The clean up was a bit iffy but as soon as I noticed it wasn't done properly they sent someone back out right away. They were professional and did such great work! Highly recommend

Own Restoration did a roof across the street from me. Alex came over and offered to look at my roof free just to see if I needed one. Honestly I just new he’d come back and say I needed one. But he didn’t! He said my roof looked good and would last probably another 5 years. I was very impressed. I sent him over to my mom’s house to look at hers. We already new the garage needed a new roof and the roof over the porch. We just hadn’t called anyone. Long story short we hired them. They did an awesome job. They came to my rescue during a horrible storm! During the storm they put a tarp over my roof to stop the rain coming in until weather conditions improved. They replaced the roof and repaired drywall and replaced insulation. The work on both jobs was excellent. Absolutely everyone I met associated with Own Restoration was professional and timely. Own restoration just completed my covered screened deck. I highly recommend this company. They removed the old deck, rebuilt it with a gabled roof and screened it. It only took 10 days from start to finish!!

This crew was amazing. My roof had a lot of damage. They began at 6:30am one morning, tore off three layers of old shingles, replaced all rotten wood and had a new roof on by 4pm. They were cleaned up and gone by 4:30pm. Their clean up was amazing. I searched for stray nails and trash. I only found a handful of items that had become hidden among my flowers. 5 stars for Own Restoration, quality materials and quality work.

I have known Alex personally and professionally for years and when I needed a new roof I reached out to him for advice, I was not aware at the time he had started his own business so I was quick to say please come give me an estimate, before we were done walking through what I needed I had signed him up to do the roof; repair my ceilings inside and paint! Have now hired OWN Restoration to do several projects for me. The first was a roof repair that turned into a roof replacement. They worked with my insurance company and supplied all the documentation that was needed to get it done. They did quality work and cleaned up when it was complete.

The second was a gutter and fascia replacement along with the reconstruction of a front porch on an older home which included foundation and deck work on my mother-in-laws house. These were not easy small jobs. Anyway again save yourself some time and stress talk with Alex and Efrain great guys.
