High end quality made products that really stand up. I own a pair of boots, a jacket and slippers while my wife has 2 pairs of boots and gloves. The only thing that drags down my review is the aloofness of the sales people. Shopped at the Denver store and the one in Taos and found the same snooty attitude from the workers in both.Personnel could use some customer service training. We walked in wearing their products and tried to engage with staff but they seemed to care less in an empty store.

We strolled into this store to browse and walked out with two of our new favorite wardrobe items!! Marc, the store manager, is a tremendous guide through their products. He's not pushy and he's super knowledgeable. When I got home, there was a small issue with my new jacket which Marc handled flawlessly.

This is a great Overland Sheepskin store in Taos - and I’ve been stopping there for years while driving through this beautiful area. Big selection, and nice staff. Don’t miss stopping by the cafe next door.

Had a great experience here - and if it weren't for the fact that it was blazing hot and the wrong season, we'd have walked out of there with a lot more than what we did.

The sales team there were awesome, left you alone enough to browse and were available for any questions and made some great suggestions. We will definitely shop at their other locations, we're already eyeing other products of theirs.

Words truly fail when describing this company. You have to visit to understand. Its smart and friendly employees, like Mark who assisted us, know everything about every product. Amazing. Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year (1973-2023) and still family owned and operated. And they operate somewhere in the neighborhood of a dozen stores in the Western states with this store as their first.

The word "quality" is often misused when companies tout their stuff. Here, the word quality describes absolutely all that you see, from teddy bears to range jackets, furry caps to dynamic belts. I bought a fantastic shirt, snap buttons of course, that promises to be my very favorite.

Around the corner on the same compact oasis consisting of huge, mature trees, wonderful garden landscapes, and waterfall ponds you will find another incredible establishment, the Farmhouse Cafe. What a great plaza this is outside of Taos, NM.

We LOVED this store! What a fantastic place. Andrew was very helpful and not your typical annoying or overbearing salesperson. He made us feel welcome, encouraged us to try things on, and was a big reason why we decided to make a few purchases. We love our new sheepskin “rugs” and pillows. We’ve lived in our camper van for two years and have never made such a big decorating decision…we’re beyond happy with the look and feel. The quality is excellent and the prices reasonable.

Loved that they didn't snub me because of the way I was dressed or looked. The host was personable and accommodating.

Go see MARC! Quality products, beautiful store, and wonderful people that chose to work there. Taos NM you haven't disappointed us yet! This store is just another gem in the many riches that surprises that this area holds. Like i said though go see Marc. You wont regret it.

Good staff. Tomas is so knowledgeable knows all materials and the fit of different styles of coats, jackets, etc...Big selection of sheep skins and cow hides. Great place to go shop.

This is an awesome store specializing in high-end outerwear, with a South West style made from sheepskin, leather, wool, and other natural materials. They carry home accessories as well as clothing coat, shoes, jackets ,gloves, hats slippers, boots for man and women .
I fell in love with their sheep rugs which are unbelievable soft and warm. The staff at the store were super knowledgeable, friendly and very professional.

Their materials are in imported from New Zealand, Australia and other places.

Great store. Manager was extremely helpful. No pressure to buy makes me want to return and I will be back. Beautiful selection of sheepskin items!

I've been to a dozen stores looking for a really great winter coat this year and was disappointed everywhere I went due to both low inventory and failure to have the styles or quality I was looking for. Overland not only had both plenty to choose from in my size but also blew us away with excellent service. Marc (store manager) was a terrific help, and when he had to leave the rest of the staff continued to take great care of us. All around a great experience. We'll definitely shop here again.

Great selection gets the two stars. Very rude salesperson (Jocelyn). I looked forward to shopping for coats for myself and partner. We drove 2 hours out of our way buy our winter wear and skins for the master bedroom. We are repeat customer who has purchased from Overland for outerwear and home goods for our homes in both Durango and El Prado stores. The salesperson snub us upon entry and never got up from sales counter even though we were the only customers in the store. Condescending remarks were not lost on us when i asked a question, thank you for putting us 'in our place'. We will happily spend our money with a company that treats every customer with respect.

Been going there for years. Quality of items is top notch. Yes with top notch come similar pricing. However catch them on sale and you make out like a bandit. Very friendly and helpful. Stop by everytime we are in taos.

Overland’s has an epic employee named Miller that’s the most awesome human being, whom my wife and I have ever bought consumer goods from. We hope he stays with your goodhearted company for many years.

Wonderful store. Go there just to see all of the wool fashions. If you're planning on buying anything though you'd better have some money in your account. Don't let your wife in that store by herself. Trust me! Lol

I love the store and staff in Taos. The store is set in a simply scrumptious location - see it to understand. I have purchased a coat and 2 hats here and plan on buying more in the future due to the quality and value I find with all the Overland products. I find some items very reasonably priced. Surprisingly so, actually! Also, as a dog owner, the Taos store is very dog friendly and gives my puppy treats each time we visit and are happy to “dog sit” him while I’m shopping. Excellent customer service. One of the hat bands broke on one of my Overhand hats, and I took it to the Santa Fe store which they repaired free of charge - and will do for a lifetime. How can you beat that? I have shopped at both the Taos (original) and Santa Fe locations and recommend Taos vs Santa Fe for better views and service (one very snobby salesperson in Santa Fe is a true turn off for me there,) however the woman who repaired my hat in Santa Fe was very down to earth and helpful.

I bought my first coat at Overland 21 years ago. I still have it, it's timeless. 2 weeks ago a bought a leather jacket in Taos that I loved so much I bought a second one for my son; it was shipped free to New York. Tomas could teach a masterclass in customer service. Dealing with a national and international clientele for 2 decades has made him the best in the game. Top notch. Additionally, Linda is superb, incredibly capable and accommodating. A perfect duo. Go to Taos to see art, the gorge, the ski valley, the wonderful people but most importantly go to Overland and see Tomas, it's in a class of its own.

We have a secret place to shop. This is it. Dreams and fulfillment are achieved here. Excellent quality and customer service to match.
