Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness
Be very careful with this company or particularly this guy who own the company, their price might be "affordable" when they are taking money from you. And yes, he will be very responsive when you are paying him. But after he take your money and finish it at the fist time. Expect no more service like customer care or warrant from him other than frustration afterward. We had our roof done by a company called A+ professional roofing inc. at 2015 with a 20 year warrant ($8000.00 Contract). the company was owned by this guy(Yves) and another partner. Soon after, the two guys split the company and existing customer. And we were told that our warranty will be take care by Yves and his new company. From that time on its all frustration.
First, shingles start to fail off starting from the second year, up to today, we saw shingles failing from roof 5 times in total. Every time, it took at least 1 month + for them to come to fix it. And every time, they promise that they will check around to make sure no more shingles will fail. And some more is failing down soon.
Early this year, more shingles failed down around almost exactly the same area that then fixed last year (and promised to check around). After multiple emails and never answered phone calls, their first response comes 1 month after my first email. After that, Yves promised at least 4 times that they will come ("1000% in his word") on different date and every time its a no show without any follow up message till we email them to ask what happened. Finally, they DID came and fixed the roof after almost 3 month. And he promised that he will check around the area to make sure not more defects.
One month after, one more pieces fall down at exactly the same spot. We email again (with pictures) at the July 28th.
Again from end of July till now (Nov 6) I probably have send him more than a dozen emails and many phone calls( which is never answered).
He did about 4-5 times emailed back and promised that he will fix it in few days/next week/tomorrow but never show up so far and each time no follow up message. or give some excuses like he car is busted, his finger was injured, etc. Anyway, on Oct 22, I send him another email asking him to fix my roof be end of Oct or I will have to look for someone else to fix my roof, but I will have to give him a bad review on Google. Guess what, he email back and says that I am "BACKMAILING" him, and I am harassing him.
He promised again twice after that that he will come to fix in few days, but he just silently ate his word after.
So, I guess I have to hire someone else to fix my roof and I will ask him to check what is wrong on that area. I will update here about the result.
